Losing Our Attention in Overstimulation | The Background Static
Take a quote from patrick who said ‘the inner machinations of my mind are an enigma’ 😅 🥳
I gotta buy the new things! I vote for more money in my pocket!
You re putting it in so many funny way and it's so true and helpful,
Everyone thinks he is philosopher until they learned pascal's law in physics class
Great video
First 2 minutes just solved everything ❤
I rather be alone than have friends fo slow me down
I think it's more about desire than love
Schopenhauer rightly identified a conundrum endemic to interpersonal relationships. He called it 'the porcupine's dilemma'. Porcupines in winter get cold, and so they seek out each other's warmth. They huddle close, but if they get too close, they get pricked by each other's spines. So they negotiate the right distance between each other, close enough to not get cold, but not so close they end up hurting each other. But this is a closeness that only partially satisfies the need for warmth, and so none of them are wholly at ease. Humanity suffers from each other's proverbial spines, but being a social species, the majority of us can't relinquish our need for closeness. And so, we suffer our whole lives, never wholly satiafied in between the cold of loneliness and the pain of each other
Sitting alone You turn to notice that you spend most of your time thinking about the past and the future rather than focusing on where you are , just feel your presence 😊❤you will return to this comment later and thank me by liking and following me just after 7 days you will receive the rewards 😇
I was very outgoing and had a great job that paid a lot of money and I started to buy property to be financially free and I quit the 9 to 5 job and then I made a bad investment and started to lose money and then I became depressed and I had so much free time that I became full of regret for the mistake and this led to drug abuse and now I reflect back and I don’t think I have ever been happy because I have been constantly looking for some Thing Other than what I have and when I get it, I get used to it and end up having the same low mood. I was more happy but I keep going through things outside of myself and I only am happy when I am with my dog. I don’t like people anymore and I am no longer outgoing and I just stay in the bed room, I don’t like being around people and I feel very ashamed because I don’t have the success I used to have. How do I accept this and move on and start over somewhere because I have no motivation and all I do is crave using drugs because at least it works for the temporary Used to think I knew about GOD but I don’t know anything. Maybe if there is a GOD he is the one that is bringing me these realizations but it’s terrible going through all this loss and regret and depression. I hate myself.
You miss 100% of the shots you DON'T take... -Wayne Gretzky. - Micheal Scott.
This is a very well crafted and thoughtful video Stanley! Love your work
I am a hermit monk of 22 yrs alone with a cat mostly besides my religious obligations I'm outdoors almost daily amongst and speaking with people I meet I couldn't stand being in solitude mostly.
Thank you so much ❤
I live on my own although not totally alone as son lives in his own house with wife, she is poorly so mum's needs are well down on his list so I do what I can to help him and her to make life easier as he still works all of the time, so have my own company much of the time, but I do totally agree about how messages can sometimes make you feel, but as I live in France and the rest of my family live in England it's a great way to stay in touch
Now, more than ever, it’s time to wake up.
try cronic noise pollution / torture for 25 years lol. In 3 days you lose patience. In 30 days psychosomatic stress installs. Modern age is dystopic hell
Just stumbled across your channel and wow, all I can say is that it's an absolute gem. I remember reading Untethered Soul and The Power of Now, glad your channel reminded me to get back on that path.
Wow thanks. I need to get back to making videos. It’s been a while.

Anyone plz help me how to forget my girlfriend she betrayed me very badly but now I want to enjoy my life following my own rules and regulations plz help me 😭😭😭😭
I never owned anything but a landline phone and a desktop computer. I lived with a woman for three years and it goes down as the biggest mistake I made in life. Since 1996 I wake up with pills and go to bed with pills.
This is why narcissists can't love.
Wow, you do not understand this concept at all. Physical brains can't contain a thought anymore than a hand can grasp one. But a dream does contain physical objects. Reality is one dream, with one dreamer. People are the dream-products, not the dreamweaver. The term a subjective experience would be more accurately described as the subjects interpretation of their experience, not the rendering of reality that dreaming is.
What about both
Blaise Pascal also invented the first proto computer
In the end he must leave her because he's incomplete
yeah i knew it.
Blessings. 👍 love this video.
Brilliant video🔥 very relatable and inspiring change in me

This may very well be the best video on this entire website.
You never Alone God is everyone who believes and him he make the magic to you body and main keep you came and sense and pace spiritual ❤❤❤❤
This was pretty dumb
Its great sitting alone..cleaning your house..getting things organized..you on the "zen" level...u got your own castle..everything is peaceful and alright..then suddenly an annoying messy loud visitors arrived😅😅 😊 i remember what Charles Manson said.." the mind is limitless..
Get a life man! Saying "your mind" means you are in control of your mind. Living alone means giving yourself the time to figure out what is good for yourself and project a plan to acquire a path for your own benefits. To suggest that your mind is separate from you is totally flawed.
I love being alone. I don't have the responsibility to entertain someone or the criticism that I'm a terrible entertainer
What has the mind got to do with anything? It's irrelevant
