Set in the 1980s in New York City, Pose is a dance musical that explores the juxtaposition of different segments of society in New York, including the ball culture world. It's really sad the actor's sister was murdered and he had to drop out. I would've loved to have seen him read his parents for casting him out and proving to them that despite his sexuality he still made it. And perhaps see Elektra read in a church.

I have my brothers. One is blood. One is from another mother. Both are loved. I met my other brother when we were young 16 year olds at work. We both hated our job but loved to be reckless. I would drive us around as we used our youth to do crazy things. We've traveled to different cities as sibling just here in Texas and laugh when people don't believe we're siblings and tell racist people that look at us weird to go f- themselves for what they think. He's been over for Christmas and major holidays, I've been the best man at his wedding. He was there when my grandmother died, I held him when he found out his ex-wife was cheating, he was there for my little girls, and I was there to welcome his bundle of joy from his new wife. We don't know what steps we have to walk through life, but always ALWAYS be limitless on what your definition of family really is.

Nope , they world fucks them over too many times. I love her character , but women like her ( character wise , not talking about being trans or black but that can definitely effect this too ) are always left behind looking stupid or killed .
