I was wondering, if there's a way to integrate industrial design with what I'm doing now? During my degree, we did learn Solidworks & about technical drawings but the core of the program concentrates on the analytical parts of engineering. Is it still possible for a mechanical engineer to work as an industrial designer?
Heey im studying industrial design im in my 3rd year in college i just wanted to know if you had any tips for improvement given your experience, it’d be much appreciated, ps: i live in bolivia and we have limited construction machinary for our career its basically woodworking everything Edit: i am inclined more towards renderings and virtual design im not very good at sketching but i loooove to build prototypes

Usually you work alongside engineers who deal with such things

Mate, students don't have that amount of money to give for a fan. When I was a student, a 15 euro fan, was more than enough.
