I’m using seats from a Mazda 6 sport. Same type of thing but wires are different colours. Not even sure on the positive and ground. There seem to be no heavier wires from the switch. The two motor wires used are obvious as there’s two heavy wires and three light ones. Does it matter that the switch wires are all lighter gauge than the motor ones? Hey Zach you said on the passenger seat just to hook up the black and white wire and the violet and red to get the functions working do they need to be hooked together also I'm not seeing the black and white wire anywhere
I’ll answer this: everything from a power door, plus maybe the cab/floor/dash harnesses. The wires might be in those already, but you’ll need to research. Then you’ll need to program the BCM to talk to the drivers and passenger side modules that you bought.

My shit is already nice it's just old man tan in my blacked out truck. Idk why the fuck ford put tan interior in that truck. I bought it new I think it was custom ordered and never bought. Because it's fully loaded and a short bed which I never seen on a 350 and is not even a lariat or anything. But has leather sunroof etc fully loaded. What do you think about those android setups for the Fords that are like the so called Tesla radios. They take place of the radio and heat/ according controls? I think they are like 600 to 800 bucks
Hey Zachary. Have you done any excursions interior upgrades.? Mine is a 2002. Do the newer 2017 and up seats also bolt in or is it best to stick to 2016 and back. @@matthewjones9070 I have not touched it. There is only one asshole I found who shows how he wire triggers directly but he won't share the info. I'll have to dig more in the forums. From what I am seeing it's easier just to install a set of aftermarket heating pad/elements and wire them to a switch.

@@matthewjones9070 If the truck was a base mode, then there is no power wire in the harness, you will need to run your own power. In my case the harness had power on the drivers side, but not on the passenger side. Getting the heating and or cooling to work is a whole other deal. This is controlled by the module under the seat. If your plan is to get it working as it would come from the factory, then it becomes extremely complicated. You need to have the correct radio head unit which has the buttons/options for the climate controlled seats, you also need to turn on the option in the bcm. A huge headache.
@@QuaabQueb Yeah I agree with you. Honestly I messed up. I got some really good heat/cool seats plus console and back seats for a fair price. But now with the issues I’m considering just swaping the leather on the front two seats and calling it a learned lesson.
