    I appreciate the review. Especially the power usage section of the video.
    If I end up ordering this model I will be plugging into my Ecoflow Delta 2. So pretty good run time even without using solar panels.
    Thanks 👍

    I bought the 37 quart with wheels. It was received damaged. The extended handle was completely broken off. It also had scratch marks on it as if it was used. I paid for a new one , not refurbished. The packaging is very poor for a fridge that weighs 40+ pounds. The fridge never got below 20 degrees Fahrenheit. After several emails (1 month) later they agreed to give me a replacement They paid for the shipping back. WOW ! My time was more valuable.They do answer your emails, expect a 24 hour reply I am still waiting for the new one to come. Buyer beware !!!!
    The Fridge itself looks nice & would be a great fit if it only does what they say it will.

    i love mine. i keep it in my jeep and its always on, the only problem i had was when running it off the battery when my jeep wasn't running the fridge wouldn't keep the temp i had it set at because it was shutting off, but with my jeep running it was fine. at first it appeared that the app was causing my problem but i figured out that i had my battery setting set wrong, it was set to high so i changed it to medium and all is good.

    Nice review :) one of these 12V fridges is probably gonna be my next purchase as we gear up our camping supplies for longer term stays on our off grid land. Trying to decide between this size or one of the larger ones. I think it would be a pain to have it constantly tethered to my power station, which I need to mover around, so maybe the battery plus its own 100w panel is the optimal solution, especially in places where sun isn’t particularly limiting.

      Yeah I do like that add-on battery option. I'd say figure out where you're going to keep it and then get one with the biggest dimensions that will fit within that space, since the power draw differential between as 37qt and a 50qt is really not all that great...and it IS nice to have extra space when you need it. I'm a little torn on the dual- vs single-zone. Personally, I find I often don't need to keep frozen items. But that's obviously going to vary from person to person.

    Happy to have found your channel. I worked in politics for a while so have lots of campaign signs laying around. I cut them, in this case would invert the baskets for a pattern, and place them where you thought you were gonna put the bacon and atop sodas as well. They're great if your frig or ice chest is in the back of the pickup to thermal break the heat from the pavement and tape together to increase R-value. You can use good quality styrofoam as well but avoiding white stuff so you don't have beads everywhere.
    I extended the life of a block of ice to 6 days without a trip an hour away to the store. That translates directly to time on the water fly fishing, if you know what I mean. So, re : a DC fridge can benefit somewhat from additional insulation similar to what I have described as well.
    Great video, nice job all around.

    I have the 48 quart version of this with wheels and telescoping handling and that served me really well on a 9 day road trip and a weekend camping. With my EcoFlow River Pro, it lasts for about 1.5 days with one side at 20F and other side at 33F. Right now this is working as a freezer in my garage.
    Btw, there are several Chinese clone of this and you can get any. All uses the exactly same apps and same look, features, and settings... all the way to the solar interface and battery option. I got the one by VEVOR.

    • @Raynor88
      @Raynor88 Рік тому

      So if you have 200w of solar on the roof would top off the ecoflow during the day or you think more would be needed?

    • @ayeameen
      @ayeameen Рік тому +1

      @@Raynor88 If you can top up 400w-500w, that should be enough. I used one side for freezer which was consuming more power btw. Running at a refrigerator temperature will consume less power.

    Awesome review!!! Thank you. I’m curious if u got reading for current draw as the compressor kicks on. I’m wondering if I can run this fridge on a small inverter, say a 400W inverter.

    • @ReeWrayOutdoors
      @ReeWrayOutdoors  Рік тому

      If your 400W inverter has a peak surge of 800W, should be completely fine.

    Did you check for sound of the compressor? WE have a 8.1 Quick Silver tent camper and wondering about the sound. It seems as this refrigerator gets larger, people complain it is loud. Thank you for your help. I like the Pro 35 you reviewed, but this one would give a little more room for a 4 day trip.

    Hello! Thanks for the review! Were your power consumption figures based on ECO or MAX mode?

    • @ReeWrayOutdoors
      @ReeWrayOutdoors  Рік тому

      Pretty sure it was in ECO mode. MAX is not significantly different, but will add a little consumption because it basically narrows the tolerance in the upper and lower temp range monitoring so the compressor will kick on a little more often than in ECO mode.

      I've been keeping it my car pretty much continually over this past year for grocery trips...and frequently use it as an over-flow for the main fridge when necessary. Still running like a champ. Not had a single issue with it. Maybe the only additional insight I'd offer is that I rarely use the revmovable baskets because...at least in the car, with the baskets in place and nothing in the fridge (ie on the way to the store), the baskets rattle around in there constantly. It's not an issue once you have weight in there, but I found myself just leaving them out all the time to avoid the periodic rattle.
