Thank you a million! PJ and SG are my favorite bands. You rule. Rest in peace Chris. I'd do anything to get more music from those guys. Considering we just got a great new album from Pearl Jam. Matt Cameron is the luckiest guy on Earth to be in both of those bands.

    Some additional insights:
-Black Days was the name of a few different songs originally. Black Rain was one of them, and there was also Black Days III, which when it was first released as a B-side, was labelled as a demo version of Fell on Black Days.
-665 and 667 were also titled this way because of the idea that if the number 666 was powerful, then the surrounding numbers would also be powerful.
-That version of Waiting for the Sun isn't a studio recording, it's from the Live on I-5 Soundcheck EP.
Also here's a few other interesting things that weren't mentioned in this Iceberg.
-During the recording of Badmotorfinger, they recorded three other songs that were scrapped during the mixing process and remain unreleased, only two of the titles are known: "A Broom", and "How Should I Know?"
-Kim revealed some of the names of the songs from the First 15 in an interview: "Dirty Candy", "Ocean Fronts", "Open Up", "Summation", "Beast", and "No Shame".
-There is a UA-cam upload of a VHS recording of Soundgarden performing in 1986 which features an early version of Incessant Mace apparently titled "Catatonic Face", and Ocean Fronts. (here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/wSPIhXdWCKY/v-deo.html )
-There is a bootleg called "Seattle Scruffs" which includes 1987 demos of Beyond The Wheel and Nothing to Say, mislabelled as "This Is My Summation", which seems like an alternate title of "Summation" from the First 15.
-In September 1996, at a show in Italy, the crowd kept pushing towards the stage, so Chris told them to stop. They didn't, so the band got frustrated, and eventually all left the stage except for Chris. Chris then started playing guitar, and improvised a song that most people have nicknamed "Say Goodnight" or "Goodnight My Friends." This apparently got the crowd to back off and calm down.
Great vid, I hope you make some more. As a huge Soundgarden fan this was cool to watch.

Soundgarden was my gateway into Pearl Jam. And I only discovered Soundgarden from hearing Chris Cornell do the song for the James Bond movie Casino Royale when it came out when I was in 8th grade. At the time I was a huge Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin sam. Then I discovered there was a band that basically was heavily influenced by both of those but took it further musically. That band being Soundgarden

The crazy thing about what you put for Taylor Momsen and the Like a Stone cover- they’d cover that song when she was like… 16 and they played it along with Aerials in Seattle Washington. It’s crazy and makes the more recent acoustic cover of it that much more of a full circle and extremely impactful. It’s wild.

I was a huge Soundgarden fan starting back in the Ultramega OK days. I think Badmotorfinger was their best album of all, it was totally mind-blowing to me at the time. I really didn't care for Blackhole Sun or Spoonman. It was their biggest commercial success, and it was all over MTV, but both songs were kind of corny in my opinion, and that's all you hear from them on the radio to this day. King Animal has a few amazing songs, I was so looking forward to a band new Soundgarden album for years after that. I saw Temple of the Dog just before Chris died, I really wish he was still with us, he is my favorite singer of all time.

"2 minutes of silence" is a rememberance of those who died in war in the UK.
On a somewhat side note, check out John Cage and his song 4'33", and the avant guard classical movement that is the context. Classical lost it's mind
