Hello Nikita, Yes. Oil paints work quite well over Molding Paste because of the high marble dust (calcium carbonate) content. Light Molding Paste may be less desirable for that reason, it replaces marble dust with glass microspheres - and offer slightly less adhesion for oils than the others.
Hello Betty! What sort of examples do you think we're missing? Broadly, acrylic pastes are an opaque texture medium for use with acrylic colors... or by themselves. Artists sometimes skim molding paste through stencils to create an embossed effect on a smooth surface - also molding paste is great for filling in the texture on a canvas or other support to make it smooth for painting with either acrylics or oils. This is really versatile stuff, you will likely find all sorts of uses for it.
