    I just happened to be getting ready to make set of Rustic Shutters for house we're renting, cause what's on it now, makes it look dilapidated. They're old vinyl that has long faded and has begun to crack in some places. The last storm we had that brought any real wind with it, ripped a couple of them off the house and I found enough of the push-rivets(the plastic Christmas-Tree-clips.) to re-hang them.
    I'll be using lumber that I've personally reclaimed, that I've sourced from my work, where I'm a heavy duty body repair man, diesel mechanic. We continually receive all different sizes and makes of body parts in crates and on pallets. More than I even use.

    Okay, when you say, "shit ton" is that a like a "metric-ton" a "mega-ton" a "regular-ton"... asking for a friend. 😎
    The only reason I have so much lying around is, Everytime I do a big-purge, and burn it the fire pit(that supposedly, violates my lease agreement, which wasn't a problem 4 yrs ago, when I asked if I could put one in, was told. "Yeah, sure.!" But, that's another story.) Somebody does a cool project on UA-cam, or figure out something I could've done something with that perfect block I had last week, and I might not even need to cut the damn thing.

    Great videos, extremely helpful! Glad to be following you and learning from you. My question is......shipping!!! Those shutters are those local pickup or are you shipping them and if so how? Im just trying to find the right boxes for my wooden christmas trees and thats a nightmare. Nope they wont fit in USPS boxes, tried that. Anywho, hopefully you can help out a new guy trying to break into the wood working business. Thanks and keep up the great work!

    • @Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks
      @Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks  9 місяців тому +2

      Pirate shipping company, $18 . Home Depot has the right boxes , just be sure that you used bubble wrap and make sure the piece can’t bounce around inside the box so stuff it tight

    • @Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks

      Shipping was 18$ it was local , same state i was in , and fees were around 24$ , walked away with $119 marked it at 150$ I believe , I’d have to go to my Etsy shop and see exactly what the break down is .
