Giving you an insight into all things BADMINTON! - Спорт
Hope you guys find this one useful, make sure you share the video with a friend who always misses an easy net kill 😂
Hi Jenny & Greg, thanks a lot for your great 🏸 tutorials - fantastic work - I hope the ad revenues will make you a decent second income in the future. The only thing which iritates me is that you both are lefties and I am not, 😀😂 because therefore I always have to think twice to get your demonstrations.☹️
I wish you all the best, from Germany🇩🇪.
BTW: What's the probability that both of you are lefties?! Or do you play doubles together because both of you are?
@@charleslemagne202 Hi Carl, thank you so much for the nice message! 🤗 Haha, we try our best to include as many right-handed demos as possible, this Sunday's video is actually predominately right-handed demos with a few left-handed for any fellow lefties out there 😆

Yessss finally I won't feel terrible the entire day after missing a free net kill, thanks guys :D
Haha 😂 You're very welcome!
Thats the most painful feeling i have ever felt :(

Best badminton UA-cam channel - EVERY week there is a new video that we all need and want... Lets get Badminton Insight to 100k subs!!! 🚀
Wow, thank you so much!! 🤗🏸
yeah, and they'll get married, lol
I was literally looking for this video yesterday, it's like you guys know what we want before we know what we want
Hope the video helped! 😆
Perfect explanations. If I may add, what I see a lot in beginner and intermediate players is that the follow thru after hitting the shuttle is in an arc and should be in the direction they aim at. If you timing is just slightly off you drag the shuttle with the arc of your swing and mishit the shuttle. The arc needs to come after the " short straight shot" as it is natural around your pivot points.
Another great video! Great techniques, clearly explained w/ simultaneous video and worthwhile practice suggestions. You two are really refining your stuff!! Great work and continued success! Peace!
Wow thank you ☺️😊
Thanks Greg and Jenny ! So helpful like always ! Can't wait to see the 100k subs ! Love from France
Thank you so much ☺️
Hey guys. This is simply one of the most important coaching videos you have produced. Extremely invaluable information. Great work.
Wow thank you so much! 🤩😄
video is chock-full of technique and perfectly filmed demonstrations. thank you for your hard work
Thank you so much 😊
Thank you guys so much for the video, specially for the brush off, I can’t really do it right now, but I am practicing using your techniques. Thank you again
Keep working at it! 🥳
5:20 the angle of the video makes little greg look super cute and excited to practice
😂😆
Recently found come across this channel, very comprehensive and engaging to watch. Keep up the good work guys!
Awesome, thank you!
Would it be worth a video explaining the Surdiman and Thomas Cup tournaments? Are there differences to how a team goes about strategizing and the players they put forward? It's been very refreshing to see new faces from all the represented countries in these matchups. I didn't realize how exciting it feels to have so many new badminton matches to watch since the lockdowns.
Great work as usual, lets go badminton insight!!!
Thank you! 🤩
Being a tall player (6'2) I feel people just expect me to make these kind of kill shots all the time. Like everyone I miss from time to time, so cue the roars of laughter from my club mates, but I will definitely be trying out these techniques. I think players of any level can benefit , thanks guys
great video again you guys, thanks a lot for the good tips and lessons
You're very welcome Oscar, glad you enjoyed it 😃
wow. finally this topic comes out. this has always been my number one problem when going for the net kill. thanks a lot for the tips guys
Glad you enjoyed it! ☺️
Something I think would be cool to see is how you guys split up your badminton training, so which specific skills get practiced when and how often you train a certain technical point, for example net play or offensive shots. Is there like a list of things that get trained and then those things are repeated again in rotation, etc. Would be cool to see how it’s structured. Great content as always!
Will try for sure
Thank you for another great video. I just recently practiced these hehe
Hope you enjoyed it :)
Excellent explanation 100% correct well done, lot coaches could learn here.
Glad it was helpful! 🤗
Great lesson guys thank you 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Nice video! Would the shot at 4:06 be a net violation because from my pov it looks like it?
Hi i love your videos i am bad at net kill but seeing your videos i feel confident that i can do it.

hello insight,
Please tell me how to avoid lift in front of attacking players.
and brilliant tech video for killing
is it possible to make a brush off for the back of the court.like it will be a brush but instate of dropping close to the net or mid court it will land on back at the court
I really needed this...
This is just what i needed! Good stuff here 😎
Great to hear! 😃
I have mixed dominance my good hand is my right hand and my left leg is my leading leg is this a disadvantage?
Can please do a tutorial for backhand brush off kills my coach told me it should land at the other corner of the court and needed more slice into it but I kept missing the shuttle
This one of the video I wanted to ask.
Thanks for uploading before I asked😄
Haha you're very welcome! 😃
omg this morning i was playing and struggling on how i can improve my net games. i always tend to panic when im face to face with the opposing team. Thanks Greg and Jenny! this is god send!! :D
Hope you enjoyed it!
Thank you. Those ‘gimme’ net shots are so awful when you put it in the net!
I’m definitely going to practice these!

Great video guys, thanks for the clear breakdown of the two types! I’m so glad I found this channel, you two are a joy to watch and learn from
Ah thank you so much ☺️
What's your advice on making a net play?
Can you make a video on how to pick up smashes
Great channel! helped me a lot

Hello, can you make a video on how to handle smash and how to do smash shot?I love your videos and won the match 4 times ⏲️😀
Really helpful. 👍
Glad we could help! 😄
I always had this problem thanks for uploading 😊
Glad we could help! 😄
I can't count the number of times I've cried in despair when I've hit a seemingly-easy win straight into the net 😂.
I've been wondering. For doubles, is it advisable to use the brush off when returning serves? Or does the opponent's position when serving make it non-viable?
FINALLY A NET VIDEO I'VE BEEN WANTING TO LEARN HOW TO DO A HAIRPIN
Hope you enjoyed it! :)
thank you!!
4:05 is it ok for the racket to go into the other side of the net though the strike was done on this side of the court?
Also, if while swinging a racket, one in quick motion if the shuttle is struck twice by the racket is that ok? It wasn't a deliberate attempt to hit the shuttle twice but a pure accidental natural hit resulting in the shuttle to stay a tad bit longer on the racket due to which the shuttle was in contact with the racket twice before flying across to the other side.
No and no!! Sorry 😬
but what if the shuttle coak very high how can i kill the net shot ?
Plz bring footwork for single court practice.
Coming soon!
Careful Jenny! At 4:05-07, you seem to be swinging your racket over and past the net a little. I'm not entirely sure due to the camera angle, but keep up the good work!
You guys are lucky to have each other cause here I look for people good enough to play with me. It sucks ...
Yes we are! Hopefully if you look hard enough you’ll get someone!!
@@BadmintonInsight May your words get true jenny/Greg who replied
Hi guys next video please do tutorial body mobility
Thankuuuu coach... Missing you guys. 🏸🏸
You're welcome! 😃
Helpful!
Glad you think so!
@@BadmintonInsight welcome! Also can you please upload tips on better smash defence? :)
hi mam,yup you're right this is very common mistake of beginners especially me😅😅😁😁
Can yo make a video on how to apply grip on racket perfectly
They have already done it!
Have any of you used the Arcsaber 11 before? Do you know if it’s a good racket? Nice video btw ❤️
We have briefly, it's good yes but we prefer Victor 😂 And thank you very much!
(this is NOT a video request!)
Erm...might as well just say it - what pants do you recommend, Greg?
Oh sht my screen cracked after subscribing to your channel.
😢😆
From last 1 week I was messing up my net kill... Thank you for providing this video..
You're very welcome! 😃
just fantastic
Thank you!!
You guys might reach 100K by next month .Congrats in advance
Haha we hope so! Thank you very much 😃
The net brush seems so hard especially when the shuttle is tight to the net. I seen pros do it on netcords but I still don't get how they can do it so accurately.
the intro shot with Greg running into the net is just like Antonsan in 2018 in Indonesia 😂
How to fight injuries or avoide injury !
I know the net kill but this video helped me perfect me my net kill tq so much❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
4:43 wow you took a clip frm SUDIRMAN CUP✌
There were some great matches 💥
Please make video on net game.
Pretty sure I have seen a video of them doing net shots, included a net shot challenge at the end of the video :)
Yep! We have a doubles net shot and singles net shot video 👍🏼
❤
Idk but this helps a lot for my competition :)
Good luck 🤞🏼
thank you for telling now i can play like a player
once more a great tutorial! thanks! and beautiful lady, too!
Thank you very much! 😀
Please make a video on how to wake up early and do physical fitness. Because i am not able to wake up early.
My accuracy is 70%.... I hope with the help of this video I will achive more..... Kudos to you both...
Good luck Rohan!!
First 👍 Badminton Insight
💥😄
is that a thruster f enhanced or another thruster racket
Thruster F! 😃
when I played with some Malaysians claiming to be terrible at badminton, every net kill I made, got returned like magic. Somehow they just lift up their racquet and the shuttle got returned. I thought only top players like Lee Chong Wei can pull off these kind of shots, I was so wrong.
Me who is too slow to even follow up : *These mere issues don't affect me*
I'm from INDIA,,,, you are best.
Can you do a brief video on recovering from or avoiding injuries? I have personally not played for almost an entire week many times due to a sore shoulder or knee.
We have already done a video on most common injuries in badminton!
Hey greg and jenny my simple question to you is that why kirsty gilmour plays for great britain in olympics and in competitive stage she represents scotland ?🙄 just asking
Great Britain is made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and at some major games there is only a GB team. Others like Uber Cup it is individual! It's a little confusing we know!
The thought that I'll win a point after the kill makes me botch it up:) Amazing video though!
Haha this is a good point! Our eyes often light up seeing the end of the point, that's why it's important to stay controlled!
4:07 is a fault, jenny touched the net 😅😊
Why don't you both play mix double in BWF. 😍
We will soon! Our next tournament is Belgian IC 😃🤞🏼
@@BadmintonInsight My Prayer's are with you .😇

Lol jokes aside,this video was helpful.Thanks! :)
Also could you please upload tips for better smash defence? My friend is better at it and I’m so surprised every time she does a great reflex!😁
Haha! You're very welcome 😀 We actually have a few videos on defence if you want to check them out!
