Please help...I have watched multiple videos from Brother & you. BTW, thank you for sharing your expertise! I am not a tech-y by nature; however, I'm not an idiot either. I purchased the QL-1100 and it will currently not print from Adobe. Every time I attempt to print from Adobe, I receive an error message that the label tape does not match the specified size. (I did select a custom size of 4.07x6.4 as I'm using the labels provided with the machine.) Additionally, I reset the printer according to your instructions. Final piece of info, it prints your sample label perfectly from Safari. So...2 questions: How do I avoid the print error when printing from Adobe? And how do I access the print icon from Pirate Ship like in your video? Thank you in advance!!
I use Shippo because it supports all the carriers, not just USPS and the rates are the same or cheaper than pirate ship because it supports the same cubic shipping rates for USPS. It has most the same integrations as pirate ship too but the trade off is it costs 5 cents per label. Worth it in my opinion.

I had no idea about the simple export rates. I wish I would have known that. I would probably have saved a ton of money on a package I just shipped to Canada. Thank for the info.
Before the USPS went to the DIM rate last June, Pirateship was the bomb for me! After that Pirateship is rarely cheaper. I believe it is because they implemented ZONES and since I live in the middle of the country my pricing is different than someone more towards a coastal area. Example, before the DIM rate went into effect, you and I were charged the same rate for a 3lb. box to California. Now with the DIM weight - ZONES, your cost is higher than mine for the same box because you are further so Pirateship helps you out. I shipped some shoes to California yesterday, 3lb and 9 oz. Pirateship was a $1.04 more:) Every once in a while though I get to pull off the box in and tricks and save some money:)
I'm in the process of starting an ecommerce paper craft supply business through shopify. Any information comparing Pirate Ship, PayPal shipping and shipstation would be great. I feel like shipping is so confusing and I want to find the most affordable option for future customers. Thank you!!!
This video is insightful because I've been curious about Pirate Ship! I just need some clarification: Soooo does this mean if I would like to send out mail NOT affiliated with a small business or service, I can still purchase my labels through Pirate Ship as long as I have a label machine like Rollo?? I'm asking because I just want to skip the lines at the post office to get a label and just provide the weight and measurements myself and print at home
That’s generally used when you are shipping something internationally. You will most likely be asked to sign that form to inform customs a.k.a shipping security guards that check every package in the system for illegal products.... you explain what product your shipping and every type of product has a hs code , you will need a hs code to also describe what type of product you are shipping. They ask for the value of the product, what country it’s being shipped from, the quantity of product.
Any advice with shipping stickers? I’m currently using forever stamps since majority of my packages are within two ounces, but some orders are taking 3 weeks to a month to arrive :/
This might be a stupid question, so forgive me. Is this only for the seller that's paying for the shipping, or can the customer pay for the shipping upfront? I don't want to pay for shipping, unless it's over a certain total. Thanks in advance!

Is there a way I can get a the QR code that I can scan at the USPS Kiosk instead of printing at home ?
I want to start a small business, hopefully by 2021 but I have a question: do I have to pay for the shipping label that Pirate Ship develops with the money customers' will pay me for their products OR can I tell them that there is shipping costs included with my products (i.e. $14.99 plus $3 shipping
Somebody answer dis question was wondering the same thing
I would include the shipping cost because if you use the customers money that will take away your profit especially if the products you’re selling are
Omg I'm so happy to find out about this site
Its a good service =)
Can the shipping label be whipped to my house if I don’t have a printer?
How do you ship an item to an PO Box? In the US? It’s soo confusing can someone pls help me what I should do
By sending it
Lol send it! Yeah to send to a PO box you have to send it USPS to the PO box.
Does it automatically send the tracking number to eBay etc or do you have to put it in manually?
Media mail - is it still sent at a much slower rate/days than regular packages?
I have a question my friend what about fragrances can I use pirate ship for fragrances and can I put multiple items inside the box, I will appreciate any help 👍
So it's not possible to print to a sheet of 4 adhesive labels?
This video was amazing!!! Thank you Eric. New Subby here!!
Not sure if you answered this or not. Does pirate ship email your custom a tracking update of their package?? You didn't cover that in the video
Hi, I appreciate it =) I haven't used that email tracking feature yet but if you test it out please let me know =)
Good info for sure. Did you talk with them about putting a box into a polybag for a cheaper rate? I didn't think that was okay to do? I look forward to binge-watching more of your videos.
Box in a polybag is the same as polybag rate. Appreciate the support =)
I’m torn before pirate ship & shippo. We’re a start up brand, in Australia and use UPS & auspost, we’re currently with ship station but I’ve seen a lot of complaints with ship station. Have you had any issues with shippo ?
@@joanamaas8767 If you're not having any issues with ship station, it may not be worth the effort to switch if you're not having any issues with them. If you are changing providers, though, I recommend Shippo
Is there a way to not print the "Ship From" if you don't have a P.O. box to put the address as?
Can I drop it off on the blue mail bins vs going to the actual post office?
Hiii QUESTION.... If I use the poly bag instead of the box but the height is the same as the length or the width, still can use it? Let say its a 5 poud box but fits into a big poly bag, am I allowed to do that ? Thank you so much!
I had no idea about the simple export rates. I wish I would have known that. I would probably have saved a ton of money on a package I just shipped to Canada. Thank for the info.
You are welcome, yeah it was new to me too!
Thanks for this video & the indexing is great 👍👍
Appreciate it =)
I thought you always had to download, boy that will save me a minute!
Nah just on website, thanks for watching =)
I need to print 2 separate end of day scans. Each shipment is going to 2 different post office locations. How is this done?
I use the cubic 90% of the time is it is the Game Changer. as long as dimensions are 17" inches or under in any one
What do you do after you print the label?
Do you take it to the post ofc
Pirate ship slacking!
@@thecollegepicker PS was actually cheaper the other day:)
They haven't integrated amazon yet and I was wondering what is the easiest way currently to print shipping labels for Amazon through Pirate Ship?
Amazon has the same rates as pirateship or better. I wouldn't use pirate ship for Amazon.
Can I use a regular printer to print shipping labels or do I need a shipping label printer ?
Yes you can print from pirate ship with any printer.
I may have missed it but do you still have to go back into eBay and add the tracking number?
I'm in the process of starting an ecommerce paper craft supply business through shopify. Any information comparing Pirate Ship, PayPal shipping and shipstation would be great. I feel like shipping is so confusing and I want to find the most affordable option for future customers. Thank you!!!
Hi, did you start your e-commerce?
Hello, they do take paypal for payments. just an FYI
I am getting ready to start using Pirate Ship with my eBay business. Can you use Pirate Ship for you personal items not related to eBay?
Hi yes 3:45 I start to explain that. You'll love the service.
@@thecollegepicker That will be great around Christmas time for us instead of paying the expensive rate of going to the post office.
Perfect example 👌 yes you will save time money and headache 😁 e
This video is insightful because I've been curious about Pirate Ship! I just need some clarification: Soooo does this mean if I would like to send out mail NOT affiliated with a small business or service, I can still purchase my labels through Pirate Ship as long as I have a label machine like Rollo?? I'm asking because I just want to skip the lines at the post office to get a label and just provide the weight and measurements myself and print at home
Thanks for the video. Is this for everyone or for those with a business?
Anybody can use their service.
I have a question about the customs form.. what is that and how and when would that be used for ?? Thanks for the informative video !
Thank you so much this helped tons!!!
THIS WAS A LIFE SAVER!!!
Any advice with shipping stickers? I’m currently using forever stamps since majority of my packages are within two ounces, but some orders are taking 3 weeks to a month to arrive :/
This is an amazing tutorial bro! Thank you!
You are welcome. Happy to help 😊
This might be a stupid question, so forgive me. Is this only for the seller that's paying for the shipping, or can the customer pay for the shipping upfront? I don't want to pay for shipping, unless it's over a certain total. Thanks in advance!
Good question, Yes you pay for shipping when you create the label.
how to pay for postage online and how to print it, what paper? Priority flat rate envelopes?
thanks so much!! all your videos are fantastic!!
Will ebay receive the updated shipping information automatically?
I have a question when customers pay for shipping on Shopify how do I transfer that amount to pirate ship so it won’t charge my personal card
I don't think you can do that.
