Tavern ambiance on "Moon Sphere of The Dancing Court" by Sword Coast Soundscapes

Thanks to Sombre Arcane for the approval.
This video is for promotional use only.
Listening to this while pondering my orb.
Anyone who uses Swordcoast in their work is top tier
My.god. I just randomly thought of the word "dungeon synthe" and searched on UA-cam. The music is amazing and I felt real emotions from here. Beautiful art here.
I did the same once with "dark ambient" and i wasn't disappointed
Welcome to a beautiful world of amazing and unique music.. one which is extremely vast and thriving with many different subgenres!
ya did well; kid. welcome.
No you didn't
@@WitchfinderGeneral56 was a year ago. Could be. I dunno. Who replies to a year old comment 😂
Return from Dragonspear is truly beyond godly.
Can tell before note one from that faux forgotten realms cover art I was going to love this I was right. Cheers ma subscription to your channel is by far one of my most valued
Just my thoughts! And that cover is golden. Love RPG inspired bands.
i just took a scan through the track names and theres a lot of references as well:
moon sphere of the dancing court refers to a very popular place in waterdeep where people come to dance near a magical construct of the same name
kelthas reffers to an obscure necromancer bandit
and dragonspear is a dungeon
im pretty sure dinomace is a refference to the saurials or dragonbait but im not aquainted enough with either to be sure
@@AlxanderVII And you can see the Tears of Selune following the moon in the album art ^~^ A Day's March through the Ancient Elven Forest is probably a reference to Cormanthyr.
@@Taricus Wow! I am shocked anyone picked up on the Tears! We talked about it being another one of those details only we would ever probably appreciate!
Close on the Ancient Elven Forest! This was in reference to the Ardeep on our way up to the House of Stone.
Hehe, noticed that too!
This music reminds me of old fantasy movies - Conan the Barbarian, Hawk The Slayer and many more, like it😉
I feel it too, really well thought out.
Moon Sphere of The Dancing Court touched my heart so deeply that brought tears to my eyes.
strong 80's pulp fantasy vibe, I dig it.
Lansharra’s Leavetaking is awesome as well as the whole album. You’ve found the roots of fantasy, the mood of the written novels that started it all.
Was not expecting trap hats
*End of the album. Sits in silence for a bit. Standing ovation.* Holy mama !
This is something special. Amazing dungeon synth with beautiful cover art with that really captures the feeling of adventure and exploration into an unknown realm.
This cover made me smile! And the music remimded of my youth days so greatly... (always loved fantasy stuff).
Barely made it to a minute with the first song and I bought the whole album because of how evident the beauty and talent this album portrays. I am glad I did because it is gems like these that reminds me why I love and support this genre
This brings me back to AD&D days!
FINALLY!! A dungeon synth album with some lyrics. This album is an inspired work, clearly the product of adept craftsmen.
Lord of the Synth
Great Fantasy Ambient! As if I was plunged into the middle ages.
This is a new genre for me and I instantly fall in love
As soon as I heard multiple types of sound, INCLUDING a hint of drums in the first track, I already knew it would be better than average dungeonsynth.
The Forgotten Realms influence is as subtle as a .50 cal rifle.
I`m fine with it though.
DS is a gift that just keeps on giving!
First track blew me away. First I've heard from these guys but they are awesome.
Two songs in and I was purchasing this off Amazon Digital. The epic conclusion of 'Return from Dragonspear' left me wanting more. ❤
Unreal stuff. So sad I’m just now finding out about it!
Slickest trap beat I have heard in a while, in the middle of a dungeon synth album, fucking bravo
Unreal
The vintage book cover look of an old paperback Forgotten Realms novel or adventure module adds great to the experience. Throws me back to my early adventuring days with my first AD&D-Group back in the mid 90ies. Excellent!
Magnificent from the off. Instant classic in dungeon synth.
Dinomace goes so strong and hard for those 2 minutes, not a second wasted there!
Perfect for classic sword and sorcery books 🎶
Love it from the start, every song has a unique tone that somehow flows very well with song preceding and following it.
Ancient and *forgotten* Netherese music? Yes please.
This is fucking fantastic! Instant classic
OK probably the best one next to depressive silence. Insane tracks
Time-space condundrum is ethereal yet so dark, otherworldly yet so grounded, lively yet so melancholy. Im still trying to pick my jaw up from the floor.
Thanks for the support everyone!
Very glad to see Sombre Arcane uploaded to DSA. Phenomenal artists and such a great album!
20:27 When the percussion starts on Dinomace, it really reminds me of Dawn of War music.
This is awesome. I needed this for today's rainy commute.
beautiful homage to the Forgotten Realms.
I love it just from the start and art!
Love this one, really mystical. Purchased to support the artists. Hope they make more like this.
I feel like Im back playin DOSbox RPGs
love the sounds used in this!
Oh man I missed you old friend. Nice to see you again!
There's something about this cover art, I don't know what it is, but I really like it. It feels like good fantasy is the closest I can say to pinpointing it. Like, decent fantasy; true fantasy from 70s/80s/90s before it became cool. I like it.
probably because it uses the same font and style from the published Dungeons and Dragons adventure books in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting from way back when
@@iainhaukka6553 I know the name is in the style of Forgotten Realms, but it is more than that. It's something about the unusual composition. Newer fantasy paintings don't have the same feeling to me as older ones. This one feels unique to me.
@@Roset03 I know what you mean. It's hard to put into words but I feel like "too clean" might be a good word for describing today's fantasy artworks.
@@kaykek7174 I know. I hate to say it but, I think the 'pasty' look of digital artwork and some sort of lack of vibrancy, is also part of it. Traditional paints seem to have a particular quality to them on paper or canvas that seems to hold its value for the viewer (or for me at least) much longer than newer arts done digitally. It really has a different quality to me than digital does.
@@Roset03 This is an original painting, done intentionally in an old school fantasy style on canvas, which may have something to do with it :) A lot of the newer styles are purely digital
masterpiece
That was so fuccin good 🤘🏼AND it ended so damn well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is food for the soul
THIS IS REALLY GOOD
Pffff. Perfect stuff for background work.
Amazing!
wow, I really liked it. the cover art is amazing too. instant fav
Kelthas the Dread has so much going on, it is engrossing.
beautiful!
some of these songs sound like Metroid and I'm here for it
Extremely good
Not sure how intentional that was, but there's some top notch Nest vibes in there.
Nest is hugely inspirational to Naginah. That’s the project that got me discover my love for the kantele which eventually lead to this band. We did a cover of the track Land Behind the Mist on ‘Dungeon Synth Cult Compilations IV’.
I thought the same with Agalloch
great artwork
Good to see you back, DSA! This is a fantastic album to come back with.
God tier DS. Easily on the same level as DS legends such as Fief and Castle Zagyx
This is exactly what I need these days
Simply amazing
Masters of their craft!
Brilliant work!
TY
What a beautiful cover art
Exceptional work!
Ultimate musics of dawknis
An obvious 'Forgotten Realms' interest in this artist.
super !
Great One
Finally a new upload.
Great album
I love the variety within Dungeon Synth. After turning off al album with more of the hammered dulcimer ren faire vibe -which is fantastic just not my mood- this is hitting the sweet spot
Remind me Raison D' Etre ,beautiful......
this is good stuff
The artwork could have been used for BOC's outstanding "Fire of Unknown Origin". Veteran of the Psychic Wars, indeed!
TSR era Forgotten Realms OST! Lol, knew I'd like it. Know what would really make us jaw dropped... Your own Ravenloft album ;-) Please..?
(I'm half of Sombre) maybe we will, and we'll throw this track we released on a halloween comp with it :-) ua-cam.com/video/A1nEn0r1aFI/v-deo.html
Killer!
YES TIME FOR SOME DUNGEONEERING , get your torchers and broadswords we gonna get us some treasure
he has a soul in him
✌✌🔥🔥✌✌🙏🙏
Good album.
Fantastic, very old school in places, no overly modern bells and whistles.
⚔🔥💀🔥⚔
track 6 is fucking wild
I would definitely buy this on a tape or vinyl. Please make it.
man, this is great. How much genres are here?)
When the track at 19:53 picks up it becomes some really great adventuring music. Does anyone know any tracks like this? I love DS at this tempo!
Gem
I really wish this was on vinyl.
Do those who make Dungeonsynth not consider Kickstarter a good place to fund a vinyl release?
We were working with a new local label on a vinyl release but they’ve decided to not move forward with the label. So we are currently open to the idea of Kickstarter, hadn’t thought of it. Cheers!
@@sombrearcane9283 did you have the intention of making a cd?
@@jessecappel If anyone approaches us about releasing it on cd we will definitely consider it but from what we’ve noticed it seems like the majority of DS listeners seem to not purchase CDs so it’s not something we are looking to do on our own.
@@sombrearcane9283 right, thanks for responding. Yeah it does seem that way, I can't seem to find too many DS CDs, or at least affordable ones!
@@sombrearcane9283 I would certainly buy a CD. I'm more of a CD guy but yeah, DS scene is more cassette and vinyl
I don't understand how someone can like this and not like black metal
Great stuff. Any1 have any tips on other artists like lord lovidicus?
This is not song. This is a andveture :-)
ok track 9 killed it for me
Trap beat in Devilry in Inertia
Doesn't this look like Utgard Castle from that one Attack on Titan episode where Ymir reveals herself to be a titan shifter? It looks very similar
Can I pass you my dungeon synth album so you can publish it here?
