So basically this is a video where you wait 3/4 of the way through to see a botched launch control and some yackity about how it is a quiet car when you aren't using launch control. The rest is a bunch of strange comments like "it's like going shopping and packing a shotgun" and "the ride isn't...'brittle'"...whatever that means. The livability of this car is in the MPG, the ease of maintenance if you DIY and the amount of storage for it's class, plus probably a ton of other things you didn't cover.
No gas milage talk. no trunk/frunk space shown; no actual everyday applications, like getting over speed bumps; no talk on costs and depreciation, you know just things you focus when you live with a car
+Nick Gakis The front has 5.3 cu.ft. and the rear 9.7. A lot more room than a 911. I can plan a two week trip with my wife and have room to spare. The depreciation hits pretty hard. You can pick one up a couple of years old for about a third MSRP, however once that initial depreciation hits, it levels off and retains that value for quite a while. Before my Cayman S, I had a 2006 Boxster, that I purchased for $31,000.00 in 2008 and got $28,500 for it 5 years later. I also had very little in maintenance costs, other than tires, oil, brakes etc. Beware, though, when they do need maintenance, the cost can be pretty high. A new clutch, with flywheel, etc. will set you back over $3,000.00. If you drive on rough tarmac, the ride can be jarring (especially if you have sport suspension and 19" rims or bigger), however, ground clearance has never been an issue for me. I get about 14 mpg in the city but if I take it on trips I can get 29 or 30. You can get cars that are faster for the price (think Corvette) but I doubt you'd find a better all around sports car. When I'm on a "B" road it's a hoot. I've driven the new Corvette and even a Mclaren 650S and didn't have as much fun. The computers on these ultra high horsepower cars, coupled with the dual clutch transmissions make them not as engaging to drive. I always see "internet drivers" say that this car is better than that because of specs but living with them day to day is very different. One of my favorite cars to drive is an Aston Martin V8 Vantage and the specs on that are pathetic when compared to cars that cost that much, but it's more involving for me (plus it's beautiful). Of course all this is just my opinion and we all know what they're worth (everybody's got one and they don't think their's stinks) , so you really have to drive it to see for yourself.
I daily drive my 981 Boxster base....it gets about 32mpg on the highway with PDK and between the two trunks, it's perfectly fine to live with every day. I can't imagine driving anything else...I might actually prefer it to a 911 as a daily driver.
Wow, it's crazy how little information is in this video. So vague, so obviously used to BSing his way through a conversation. Bounces back and forth constantly without actually saying anything. I am tempted to export a transcript of the video just to count how many times he repeats himself.
I live in a country with alot of bumpy roads, but im considering on owning a cayman S or a GTS in manual. Refreshing to see this video though, giving us a perspective of an everyday driver.
I don't know if it's the way you have to film this car, but I can catch all the details and the way the car looks generally. This car is indeed amazing looking. : )
I would have liked to see trunk space and cost to own/insure as part of the "ease to live with". If its a daily driver, will my groceries fit in someplace?
How reliable is this car as a daily driver? Im talking long term or high mileage reliability. What is the gas mileage like cruising at freeway speeds? Any info on maintenance?
+Tim Andrews - Hi Tim, thanks for chiming in. For your reference I have 22 years in the German automotive arena. I was a dealer level line technician for BMW, Audi, and VW after which got into service, parts, and finally operations management. I think the overall aspect of reliability for this Cayman is pretty much on par with other Porsche car (not SUV) based products. Although there might be some slight idiosyncrasies due to the mid-point engine location on the Cayman that might increase labor times on certain types of repair jobs. But overall my experience has told me that as long as you stay on top of all required services and repairs, and have them done ONLY using Porsche parts (not aftermarket junk) and have it all done by a well known, reputable Porsche shop then the car can and will last a VERY long time. I've personally driven Boxsters and Caymans with north of 70K miles and they felt fresh and tight. As far as highway gas mileage goes? The official number is 26mpg. But, once again in my experience, I have driven a Cayman with the 19 inch wheel package and a K&N free flow air filter installed and when I was cruising at 65mph I reset the trip computer and after about 15 miles of driving it finally settled down at 29.6 mpg..... I consider that to be pretty dam great for a car that has this kind of performance. People fear these cars for the wrong reasons. Actually, there's no reason to fear them at all. It's all about knowing what to do at the right time and making SURE that it gets done right. Too many people (innocently) end up blaming the car for a bad experience. Where as more often than not, the bad experience was due to the car not being repaired properly. All subscribers to my channel will receive my support in terms of any German automotive related issues they might be having. Nothing beats having a guy on your side, completely unbiased, that's going to tell you facts that no repair facility will. Cheers!!
Great video! And thanks for emphasizing what many others ignore about this car. Most of the time we're not zooming and booming in our toys. It's the everyday experience that counts as well.
So I love the idea of this video: Explaining what it's like to live with a Cayman and why its refinement is overlooked when doing the boring every-day stuff. However, I don't think you fulfilled that idea completely. You started off talking about the drag coefficient and how it reduces noise, which is good. But then you keep repeating things like how good the suspension is. Then you do what you said you weren't going to do which is demonstrate launch control. That entire part could have been replaced with more day-to-day factors. Talk about gas mileage Talk about running costs Talk about trunk space and how much groceries or luggage you can fit Talk about cabin, the materials used and any noise or creeks you hear Etc. I'd reshoot this video if you get the chance and add that stuff in. The Cayman is my dream car and I'm fascinated with everything about it, including the stuff no one pays attention to, so for someone like you who has the privilege of driving this amazing machine to show someone like me who can't drive it yet what it's like owning one is an incredible thing.
No I'm too busy working hard to one day afford this car lol. If you get the chance to drive this car again, please do another video with my feedback in mind. I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks jtstar - my goal was to keep the video short, sweet, and to the point. It's amazing how many "jealous" people missed that. Lol..... anyway, regarding your question..... I think the 2016 base Cayman is still REALLY fun to drive. Whether it's under powered or not is a matter of perspective. I personally don't think it's under powered. As a matter of fact, I think it has more usable power than most owners know what to do with. Most American drivers are used to high "torque", and when they drive a car like the base Cayman which has a very linear torque curve they think it's "under powered". But the truth is that the power band on the Cayman is more like a race engine, designed to give you excellent top end power with very good low end torque. As you can see in my video, it's the type of sports car that's really easy to drive around town (in part due to that great torque spread) and still be extremely capable on a race track. The base Cayman still has 275hp, and only weighs 2800 lbs (and change)..... With a 0 to 60 time of a claimed 5.4 seconds (Porsche is notoriously conservative on their times), it's still a VERY fun package all wrapped up in legendary Porsche engineering, styling, and quality.
Wow, thanks so much for your very detailed answer. You made a lot of good points, and I must agree with you that most drivers wont even come close to exploiting the car's full power potential. Once again, great review. Disregard all the haters out there! Some people just enjoy criticizing, and looking for negatives.lol....Thanks again for taking the time to address my question :) Much respect,..Peace!!!!
+Duke Kim - That's a bit tough to pin down because it really depends on how a person drives over that 5 years. For example, if a person drives the car leisurely (and I know plenty that would, unfortunately) the overall maintenance cost would be much lower as compared to someone who would drive it quite aggressively (me). It would also depend on what wheel/tire size package the car has, my estimate over 5 years would range from about $7,000 to about $10,000 in "proper" maintenance costs.
this is what we havent got enough, review from typical driver point of view. every sports car review is about going side on every corner, I want to know if I could use sporty car on daily basis. Please review aplina b4
I like your review about how is it in daily use. I want to know about the temperature of the interior since the engine is the back of your body. Is it make the temp of the your back hotter or not? thanks. Oh one more things.... don't say others stupid by drifting the cars and doing sideways... All of you guys are great and doing lots of free contribution by giving us the experience about the car. Thank you and greeting from Indonesia.
+Gaiakai Delques - If you were paying attention, I did mention at the start of the video that I wanted to test the launch control because its such a cool feature. But, thanks anyway for your useless comment!
+The Inhabited Spec Except for the fact that I own one.. Still, it's not cool to do what you did on a traffic turn, regardless of what car anyone owns. A safer option could have on an empty highway on-ramp; again going straight.
Trying to make an obvious point that this video isn't about performance and it's not going to be like those "hooligan" type video. Yet, it consists of aerodynamic, launch control, and a comparison of performance to the 911. Where the information about cargo capacity, MPG, headroom, maintenance costs, ride height, etc. I feel like you missed the mark on this video. Better luck next time.
You said "this video is about the true livability on a daily basis", cost of fill up and cargo space should be mention. I appreciate the information on ride noise and comfort. But launch control and aerodynamic isn't part of livability.
I know this might be dumb but... can it do winter well? I'm debating between Macan GTS or Cayman S. The only problem would be ground clearance... arghh why do I live somewhere where it fucking snows!
+TheMidnightNarwhal - If you live in a part of the country that gets "lots" of snow for a few months than I would lean towards the Macan GTS...... Mind you, the Macan GTS is not much of a compromise (a good thing) as it is probably one of the MOST (top 3 for sure) capable SUV, CUV, SAV, that money can buy right now. If on the other hand, where you live doesn't get deep snow and that also only for about a month or two then I would go with the Cayman and invest in proper snow tires for those short winter months.
The Inhabited Spec I mean, it does snow but it gets plowed. Added, I would go for public transit for work in winter, and only use the car for groceries and activited, I think it's possible with winter tires. So it goes back to either a BMW M4 or Cayman, my original personal debate....
+TheMidnightNarwhal - that's actually an easy decision (for me anyway) as the Cayman and the M4 are two totally different types of experiences. So, if you want a more pure sports car than the Cayman is the choice. As pure sports cars go the Cayman is pretty well balanced (as my video points out) but compared to the M4 it's not as versatile. If after purchase you will upgrade and performance modify whatever car you get then this conversation gets even more complex. But if you will keep the car factory stock then it's easier to make a decision. If you will spend any time at all on a racetrack then for sure you will enjoy the Cayman much more. On the other hand, the M4 is a VERY fast, and fun car as well but has more room overall with a slightly more relaxed driving experience as compared to the Cayman. If I had tons of spare money I would buy a Cayman GTS as my weekend toy and drive an M4 everyday........ If I had to pick only 1 as my daily driver? personally, I would pick the M4 as it has amazing levels of overall performance "and" room for 4 with a decent size trunk. Can't go wrong!
The Inhabited Spec Exactly what I was thinking. I won't track and the M4 does a better DD car. I do plan on keeping the car I'm going to buy at least 8 years so I think the best idea would be the M4. Thanks for your opinion!
I'm not going do any of those hooligan things that're in those other videos on the internet then launch controls from the lights like you'd do in a daily driver! :-)
Cars with higher drag coefficient can be quieter than those with lower. Dual paned glass and tar mats under the carpet and felt lined fender liners with quiet tires keep cars quiet. Launch control into a turn with no stability control on is darwinism at its best
i was stunned somebody just LC at a turn, laughed my ass out. Please acquire more knowledge about cars before buying a second hand porsche - you just humiliate porsche owners including me.
Only in America, would you refer to invincibility being grocery shopping whilst packing a shotgun at your side :-/ Nice car otherwise, looks more like your in Vegas there than Cali? Nice roads too...
The entire video all you did was keep telling us that this video is about the livability of the Cayman. I think we get it! And that launch into a turn was quite stupid, thankfully the Cayman isn't overly powerful, like some.
+White Fire (OG) - Anything that I would explain to you in technical terms would only help you, which I have no interest in doing due to the fact that you are clearly a simpleton!!
Its so unfortunate that "most" people don't truly understand the concept of launch control. Launching in a straight line is easy and can be accomplished by anyone and most any car that has the feature. But what I've demonstrated in this video by launching into a tight left hand turn is just how incredible the Cayman's capabilities are in terms of traction, balance, steering accuracy, and overall complexity of its launch control system. Believe me, I've driven many cars that also have launch control and they don't work nearly as well as the Porsche system.
Launch control demonstrated to me enough to know I'll never get SMG, PDK, or whatever solenoid controlled clutch they call it. Maybe nice for the posers, but I love to really shift. Sissy stuff imho.
+hitty9 - Not sure if you are referring to me or "XblackwookieX". But I am not is sales, although I am and have been for all my life extremely passionate about Porsche spawning from a deep engineering level.
"I love to really shift." Yea that makes you legit....it doesn't take much to drive stick shift buddy. Don't pat yourself on the back too hard. Launch control also isn't the point of PDK. It's the ability of the gearbox to outperform a manual on the track. You want the slower version? Go ahead.
Guy starts off the video saying he doesn't want to go into the performance like every other video as it's obviously a well performing car...Six minutes into the video all he manages to talk about is the performance lol
Watch out for the "very very illegal speeds" just stick to the normal illegal ones unless you are a professional kids. Why doesn't porches have push button start? Turning a key is exahusting!!!
+Padrino´s Family Have you not paid attention at the beginning of the video? What do you want? See him slide the windows up and down and show you through UA-cam and your crappy laptop speakers how awesome the Bose sound system is, like so many other pointless "reviews"?
Wow talk about reckless driving . Launch control on a turn 🤦🏻♂️. You should definitely edit this vid. And cut out all the repetition. Car is amazing 👍🏼
That's a nice car, but that's not what this comment is about. This comment is about how fucking bad this video is. Like I said, nice car, but thats not what this comment is about.
12:47 to say riding is comfortable while driving at 40 mph, nice job. how about some test for "livability" going over bumps, doing grocery shopping, doing some maintenance. Just end your uploads, pure waste of life
+The Inhabited Spec says yourself, watch your video again it only made only 2 points in 13 minutes, "look im sitting in the car for 10 minutes so i think it has "pure livability" and oh launch controls"
+The Inhabited Spec the video gave no "impression" of the livability of the car just that its drives smooth, just you rambling on and repeating what you wont demonstrate and also the smooth drive for 13 minutes about a car you cant afford which could have been done in 30 seconds
+kingkckc - Your opinion of the video has incredibly little merit in the overall accomplishment here. Which is how great of a car the Cayman S is...... So, move on man, you're done here!!!!
Ur defiantly paying the price for a Porsche but for that price your should back it up with horsepower and don't let a 35k gt ford bet ya lol just saying to all the Porsche worshippers lol
Please don't talk about "aerodynamic efficiency". It is very obvious you are not well versed. Also, comparing the Cayman to a 911 is like comparing an apple to an orange. The cayman does not "far surpass" the 911, nor does it surpass at all.
Well then, why don't you enlighten us on what you claim to know about aerodynamic efficiency? Or, are you more likely (as I suspect) the classic internet troll that just barks??? And for your information, Porsche themselves (in secret pages) have admitted that if they really developed the Cayman to its full potential it would indeed be a much higher performance car as compared to the 911. But, purely for marketing reasons they won't allow that to happen as the 911 is and remains their company "hallow" car........ Your welcome!!
I would love to see proof of that claim, Porsche would never put down their flagship (more expensive) car to promote a cheaper one that makes them less money. That's a useless argument considering your proof is in "secret pages". Aerodynamics has essentially three parts. I'll save you from any of the mathematics: 1. Drag coefficient - how smoothly air will "glide" around the surface of the car. This has to do with the design of the curve and edges, etc. 2. Frontal area - if you looked dead on parallel to the direction of travel, this is the cross sectional size of the vehicle. You want to minimize this. More aerodynamic cars have smaller frontal areas 3. Lift - essential how "angled" certain parts are can cause aerodynamic lift, where an area of high pressure (more air) is directed under than over the car or wing, and a force is created pushing a car up. Similarily, if an area is low pressure is created under the car, or under a wing, canards, splitter, etc, it is called aerodynamic downforce. Downforce and lift are the same thing but antiparallel. However, increasing downforce by use of a wing and such increases drag. Now if you're talking about "aerodynamic efficiency" you want to minimize frontal area, drag coefficient while maintaining an amount of downforce required to keep your tires on the road. There is no such thing aerodynamic inefdiciency, the point is redundant. I'm not saying I don't like the cayman, in fact, I think it is a fantastic car and I'm looking to buy one of my own in the upcoming years.
A simple Google search will yield you better, more detailed explanations on aerodynamics than me, a simple physicist, can tell you. A good place to start would be be Bernoulli's principle.
Thanks for the quick response, I can appreciate that kind of passion! ... And I appreciate the simple definition of "aerodynamics". What I am referring to as "aerodynamic inefficiency" in the video is simply a car that needs to have certain amounts of down-force purely for performance reasons. So, perhaps on this particular point we are saying the same thing just in slightly different tongues..... And I never said that Porsche "put down" the 911 in any way what so ever. Quite the contrary, I clearly said that because the 911 is their hallow car they would never openly admit to the Cayman having the "potential" of being more capable...... an online search of "Porsche 911GT3 vs Cayman GT4" , will yeald you plenty of reading and clearly indicate that the 911 isn't the performance king between the two. Some articles will swing one way, while others will swing the other way. What you will end up understanding (through these online articles) is that in most cases the Cayman offers the driver a sharper, more focused, and in race track situations, a more predictable at the limits type of experience. And then there is all the real world feedback I have by drivers on the track that say that the Cayman just feels more "racey" and "tactile" compared to a 911.
I realize autocorrect from my cellphone did horrors to my spelling in my last post... I'm not even sure what happened with "inefdiciency". It definitely does have the potential to be better than the 911. Mid engine always will be more balanced than rear engine. However, the Cayman has a long way to go to beat the 540hp and sub 3 second 0-60 times offered by the Turbo S.
Doing launch control into a turn...
+KingPNW - LOL and it was amazing how well the Cayman S pulled it off.
So basically this is a video where you wait 3/4 of the way through to see a botched launch control and some yackity about how it is a quiet car when you aren't using launch control. So damn Beautiful Car
I love the Cayman
Porsche made this Car,and they got scared finding out how good it was
BIG ThX for the nice n honest Video !
Nice video! I am seriously considering getting a pre owned 981 Cayman S. I appreciate the real life point of view.
What's your opinion on Cayman s vs base model? As an everyday driver? Does base feel underpowered?
I would have liked to see trunk space and cost to own/insure as part of the "ease to live with". If its a daily driver, will my groceries fit in someplace?
"That was just approaching very illegal speeds....." Good work boss!
Very fine car!
Insightful info.
nice car, but stop saying what your not going to be talking about in the video.
+Ben Howard but how would he tell you what hes not gonna talk about lmao i thought it was funny too
I question whether launch control is a good thing at a street corner, making a left. Maybe I’m just old.
Looking good!
Good job. Thanks
04:15 where the hell are you.. theres cows just walking on the sidewalk
LOL
LOL Great spot!!!!
Gotta love Rancho
Amazing vehicle.
What types of wheels are they?
I can't drift but I can sure as fuck launch into a corner!

Just what I mentioned in the original comment and anything you can think of that fits "everyday driving" criteria. I'll sub to you for the new video.

sweet car, just wish the camera wasn't so shaky. was this on your phone?
I wonder about how much the maintenance would cost? for about like 5 years?
+Duke Kim - That's a bit tough to pin down because it really depends on how a person drives over that 5 years. It would also depend on what wheel/tire size package the car has, my estimate over 5 years would range from about $7,000 to about $10,000 in "proper" maintenance costs.
Thanks fergieworld1222, i love the Cayman S. But i think you know a little about that! ;)
Rancho Cucamonga!!! You like drove past my house lol
this is what we havent got enough, review from typical driver point of view. every sports car review is about going side on every corner, I want to know if I could use sporty car on daily basis. Please review aplina b4
How much does it cost
I like your review about how is it in daily use. I want to know about the temperature of the interior since the engine is the back of your body. Is it make the temp of the your back hotter or not? thanks.
Oh one more things.... don't say others stupid by drifting the cars and doing sideways... All of you guys are great and doing lots of free contribution by giving us the experience about the car. Thank you and greeting from Indonesia.
+Budi Mardiono - Porsche has done a great job at insulating the cabin from engine heat, so you don't really feel it.
Thank you...
> says it's a review about how livable it is
> highlights launch control which has no daily practical application
> ...into a turn no less.
+Gaiakai Delques - If you were paying attention, I did mention at the start of the video that I wanted to test the launch control because its such a cool feature. But, thanks anyway for your useless comment!
+The Inhabited Spec Still doesn't make the review any more about how livable it is. So thanks for your useless video!
I like the video for the most part, but what is about demonstrating launch control at an intersection where you're turning!
Great review! I wish all cars were reviewed like this.
+Al Michaels - Thanks Al :)
Why would you do launch control on a traffic turn?
Would that be a Hooligan type video? Like you say that you are NOT doing?
+BrianSpeed - Clearly you've never driven a Cayman S. And no, that's not a hooligan type video. Lol
+Excess Terror - Next time try paying attention!!!
+TheMidnightNarwhal - Glad to help. Keep me posted.
Great review man!!
+flatt585 - Thank you!
I'm not going do any of those hooligan things that're in those other videos on the internet then launch controls from the lights like you'd do in a daily driver! :-)
+keyop1970 - YUP !!!!!
Cars with higher drag coefficient can be quieter than those with lower. Dual paned glass and tar mats under the carpet and felt lined fender liners with quiet tires keep cars quiet. Launch control into a turn with no stability control on is darwinism at its best
A shotgun to go shopping to gain confidence at the grocery store. Do you live in a war zone?
cool car bruh
Is this russell peters
Ooh, no manual. Ouch!
Lol, as soon as it started up the TPS is lit up and has no gas. 😂
Which state in the US?
+Andi München - Southern California
The Inhabited Spec The sun state, nice :) But for this case, a cabrio would be make more fun then an cóupe.
Going to the shops with a shotgun, probably not the best analogy Ha Ha!
I'd opt for the Cayman GT4, nothing less in the Cayman line-up. Best out there? Absolutely not!
love the poor man’s 911
i was stunned somebody just LC at a turn, laughed my ass out.
+MegaVinny73 - Just a joke buddy :) No harm intended.
+The Inhabited Spec I know ;-)
Cheap is better, works most of the time
The entire video all you did was keep telling us that this video is about the livability of the Cayman.
Yeah no shit a real beast would of crashed on that turn lol
Wow you launched it while turning? WTF
Hmm, engaging the launch control while standing at an intersection having to make a left turn....well.
Launch control is only effective w psm engaged. Limits wheel spin.
It will limit wheel spin either way. You definitely don't need to turn off PSM though.
no way this guy just did a launch control in a turn lmaoooo
If you don't own it, how can you say that it is easy to live with?
+Winston Gates - Because I've reviewed it in great depth and spent lots of time driving it over many days!
+The Inhabited Spec Many days will never be equivalent to owning.
this guys in rancho cucamonga lol.
gad damn you sell the car hahahahah.... or does it sell itself..... woot woot
PLEASE!!!!!
NEVER make another Car Video Again!!!
Thanks,
Everyone
Come on man, why did you launch control at a turn you should've done in a straight line
RacerPlayer yeah, if traction control wasn't on you'd have been in a pile of shit, I'll tell you that much.
Nice video and car, I love Caymans so much I went & bought one see my (DIY) video review on my channel ?! Comments !?
That was 63+ mph I can see it on the video!
launch control on a left turn light??? wtf???
Shotgun in a grocery store?....not sure if thats the best analogy for the cayman.
+Alex Smith - Clearly you missed the idea.
Fish tailing, drifting, burn out but it's a PDK....I've seen PDK do launches never seen them do burnouts
you shouldn't be doing launch control on that intersection........and during a turn LOL
+Tom Lee - Why not???? The Cayman handled it beautifully!!!
Launch control demonstrated to me enough to know I'll never get SMG, PDK, or whatever solenoid controlled clutch they call it. Maybe nice for the posers, but I love to really shift. Sissy stuff imho.
XblackwookieX: Quite persuasive! You must be in sales?
+hitty9 - Not sure if you are referring to me or "XblackwookieX". But I am not is sales, although I am and have been for all my life extremely passionate about Porsche spawning from a deep engineering level.
"I love to really shift." Yea that makes you legit....it doesn't take much to drive stick shift buddy. Don't pat yourself on the back too hard. Launch control also isn't the point of PDK. It's the ability of the gearbox to outperform a manual on the track. You want the slower version? Go ahead.
hitty9 lmao these guys are fighting over transmissions. Just enjoy the car in whatever flavour you choose.
Guy starts off the video saying he doesn't want to go into the performance like every other video as it's obviously a well performing car...Six minutes into the video all he manages to talk about is the performance lol
The entire vid can be concluded in probably between 3-5 minutes...the rest are just the same things repetitively said...
we all want to be Clarkson LOL
i think this guy was paid to do this video for the dealer.
+Roger Lee - Dead wrong!!!
Yeah cause a viewers hate cars going fast and smoking tires. It's a wonder why they get any views at all....
nice automatic
Watch out for the "very very illegal speeds" just stick to the normal illegal ones unless you are a professional kids. Why doesn't porches have push button start? Turning a key is exahusting!!!
Man, find something else to do! Reviews are not for you!!
+Padrino´s Family Have you not paid attention at the beginning of the video? What do you want? See him slide the windows up and down and show you through UA-cam and your crappy laptop speakers how awesome the Bose sound system is, like so many other pointless "reviews"?
Whatever makes you happy!!
Pedro Barros OMG I love your churros. They are THE best. Check out Pedros Barros Locos Churros in LA.
Wrongo
wow that was a dumb idea... car sounds nice at tho.
WTF? 4:15 - 4:17
Wow talk about reckless driving . Launch control on a turn 🤦🏻♂️. You should definitely edit this vid. And cut out all the repetition. Car is amazing 👍🏼
Parcelforce 1 - Porsche 0
Launch control at a left turn stop light is like going to the grocery store with a shotgun...... idiotic 😂
That's a nice car, but that's not what this comment is about. This comment is about how fucking bad this video is. Like I said, nice car, but thats not what this comment is about.
I FEEL BAD FOR A CAR LIKE THIS WITH SUCH A MORON OWNER.
its not pronounced porsche-a, itspronounced porsche
+Judy Miller false. porsh-a is the correct pronunciation. it's a german word. funny how confident you were in your misinformation.
It is closer to porsha than porsh. The trailing e doesn't have an equivalent sound in English.
In Spanish it is pronounced Porsch-e
12:47 to say riding is comfortable while driving at 40 mph, nice job. how about some test for "livability" going over bumps, doing grocery shopping, doing some maintenance. Just end your uploads, pure waste of life
+kingkckc - Says who?...... "You"?........ hahaha, what a JOKE!!!!!!
+The Inhabited Spec says yourself, watch your video again it only made only 2 points in 13 minutes, "look im sitting in the car for 10 minutes so i think it has "pure livability" and oh launch controls"
+kingkckc - The idea of the video is not to make "points". It's called an impression. Look it up.
It is stupid to launch when you're about to turn.
+PROdatORMpower - Why??
You couldn't drive it like that anyway lmfao!!!!
Not informative about the car at all 😂just talked about how he felt when driving it
Ur defiantly paying the price for a Porsche but for that price your should back it up with horsepower and don't let a 35k gt ford bet ya lol just saying to all the Porsche worshippers lol
+Top Dog at the end of the day, a Ford is Found on Road Dead. So it doesn't matter how much HP you got, it's still a Ford.
I'll save you from any of the mathematics:
1. Drag coefficient - how smoothly air will "glide" around the surface of the car. This has to do with the design of the curve and edges, etc.
2. Frontal area - if you looked dead on parallel to the direction of travel, this is the cross sectional size of the vehicle. You want to minimize this. More aerodynamic cars have smaller frontal areas
A good place to start would be be
Bernoulli's principle.
Motortrend is well respected and not hooligan ahem...plus cam not shaking ahem... 👎🏻
+phat ho - "motortrend" is SHIT, totally biased..... They get paid to say certain things.
+The Inhabited Spec "Stay classy, San Diego!"
+phat ho - OK
nice toy... would not be my choice as a daily driver... overpriced, too small.
