I knew that I had found my new go-to channel when my 19 month old son got quite the moment he heard you start speaking. Hehe. We can't wait to see how this chalk paint mix works on my $7 armoire ish cabinet!! Thanks
Thank you for this because I’m going to try to paint a couple of end tables and I don’t have any black chalk paint but I’ve got acrylic paint though . I just subscribed to your channel . 🤗
Im wondering if this would work for the base paint underneath Pentart fineline crackle varnish..I use it for decoupage on shells and skulls, however ive found the crackles dont work over some paints..it really needs a chalk paint. I would love a video on this and im sure alot of others would too as many of us are having issues with it. In Australia chalk paint is super expensive too so an alternative would be awesome.
greetings from Africa. I want to make a chalkboard for my nephews and nieces, but the ingredients ( baking soda, plaster of Paris ) are quite hard to find in my country, is it possible to replace baking soda and plaster of Paris by something we can find anywhere in the world? ah ah ah, I've found the solution, baking soda is actually Sodium and we have that plenty of
One should use talcum powder instead as its finer and gives better adhesion to the surface plus gives a more considtrated paint surface making for a brighter paint colour try it for yourself you won't use plaster of paris or any sodas etc enjoy the wow factor of talc

Let me know how the sodium it works for you! I'm very curious.
@@DesignsByGaddis I will, thanks, I forgot I had to do it for my nephews
Use baby talcum power n acrylic paint to make chalk paint
You do need some water to n thin it down. It will dry up in the container.
I wouldn't mix it with glossy though. It might yellow. Idk.😜
I haven't had a problem with it yet, but thanks for letting me know.
What is craft paint
Acrylic paints like Folk Art.
