- RAV can become yours for 28 days!
What are the rules?
We send some RAV Vasts to travel across the US and Europe and organize a RAV giveaway and a trip to our manufacture in Russia.
At the end of 28 days, each participant sends the traveling RAV Vast to the next one along with a small gift fitting in the hard case.
Why do we have to send the RAV to you? Answer this question and share your ideas on the comments. Tag @ravvast, add hashtag #joinravtravel and #masterravtravel if you are a musician, or #newbieravtravel if you don't have any experience with RAV.
What do you get?
At the end of 28 days with RAV, every participant publishes a final video revealing all his emotions and progress in mastering the drum. Whether it's a real music video with special effects or an atmospheric video in a quiet forest - let your imagination go wild!

I met the rav drum at my boyfriend and when i touched it for the first time i fell in love....Since then i'm dreaming to have one on my own..., this beautiful rav drum, to love, to discover and play...WoW it would be so nice to try it for 28 days! This is such a good initiative! :)
As a singer and music therapist I feel this instrument gives great support to the voice and in a therapeutic perspective it also offers a big sensation of grounding. Because the rav is so intuitive we are able to transform our tensions and fears into creativity. It allows us to flow and deeply connect with our inner self, our breath and emotions.
Also, working with people that have experienced severe mental trauma, authism, deaf and blind patients I have realised that percussion instruments like these are the ones that most move people, not only because of their vibrational characterístics (sometimes people can't hear but like this they can still feel, or they don't allow to be touched bcz of abuse) and they can feel this immediate bond and love through sensory stimulation (like if they were held or hugged). The echo also ampplifies the inner voice of the patient, it works as an extension (wishes or sorrows that still are difficult to verbalize) and at last, give meaning and validate their self esteem in the improvisation. So I would like to explore this instrument for 28 days not just for me but also to share it with all these beautiful souls that come to me everyday in a Music Therapy setting and give them the chance to access a higher state of self consciessness rooted in the process of bonding and sence of belonging through therapeutic improvisation with the rav. ❤

Hi I'm Car! I hold this scale so close to my soul, it is truly filled with cosmic wonder. I always thought I had to become an expert or a 'professional' player before I could start sharing my pure love for the Rav with the world. Someone greatly shifted my perspective on this by saying.. "we can spend our entire lives thinking that we are not 'good enough' to be a pro, but in fact we all have the permission to be our own joy right now, and share our passions with the world. The world wants to hear". Ever since, I have developed such a strong desire to share my love for these instruments with the entire universe, to sing the song of the stars. They simply bring me pure bliss, and I absolutely love sharing this abundance of joy with anyone willing to listen. I play for my own soul; I play for my family & friends around a fire; I play for a gentle yoga class in the garden; I play for the plant medicines of the earth; I play for guided group meditations & sound healing classes; I play for the sun & to call out the moon; I play to sing along with the beautiful sounds of nature in the forest; I play to bring some peace amongst the crash of the waves on the beach; I play to offer healing to those experiencing difficult times; and I am just starting to contact animal sanctuaries so I can play for the beautiful creatures that share this earth with us, my dream is to play for a field of cows
I first met the Rav Vast drum in a sacred community circle. Hearing and feeling it for the first time was like coming back home, the sounds were so familiar to me. I like to describe myself as a cosmic astral traveling human, and these sounds allow me to journey into the depths of my heart, soul and universe.
I am a massage therapist / body worker and yoga practitioner and teacher, herbalist and facilitator and use sound for healing in all these different areas.
I’ve been wanting to play and build a relationship to the Rav Vast drum and be able to offer this for my community, just having it for 28 days is perfect for me to just make up my mind and be certain to get one as I haven’t had the opportunity to play with one live yet.

Okay, This might sound little too much philosophical, but hear me out...
A few years ago, i saw my uncle playing handpan and just like a baby i sat near him and started to just get lost in to the musical vibrations that were coming through the handpan...
One fine day, while I was listening to one of his in house performances, I said, Hey, I also want to try my hands on this.
And since then, my love for this instrument has increased so much, that I listen to handpan/Rav music even while working out or cycling.
And i feel, that's just the beginning of the inner journey.
Also, one more reason to have this RAV for 28 days, I want to have it for more days, may be forever? So that this journey keeps going. :D #JustKidding.

Do we write out entry here , or ? After 8 years an a variety of Handpan’s , the Rav always comes in mellow the mood and uplift the spirit, mainly have had g minor pentatonic, borrowing this g Pygmy would help , and five the ability to finish some recording with the African Kora in G , would do some video and tracking of them in coMobO to share and progress the evolution ... big love

@ravvast I have played drums going on 14 years and have used them as a way to get out all my angst when learning different rock and metal songs. However I would like to have a different experience with music one where my playing is meditative and relaxing to me and those around me instead of having to be limited to playing when no one is home.

Greetings from the west coast of Canada! I would love the chance to get the travel Rav, especially G pygmy what a beautiful scale. I am a professional musician, and also Music Therapist and use the Rav and handpan often in my practice, with seniors who have Alzheimers and Dementia, and with teens dealing with mental health and addiction issues. With the teens especially the Rav works well: it's easy to play for non-musicians and novices, it allows to safely explore their creative self-expression and emotional expression through improvising, the vibration of the instrument itself gives the player stimulus feedback, and the tone and long sustain of it is both aesthetic and relaxing which can promote mindfulness or meditation.

#TravelRAVFor28days - great initiative idea - I ´d like to try one of Rav Vast drum - i got a handpan and since i play for myself and sometimes for others, it is a way to harmonise my being , the space where these vibrations and frequencies fly acros and align and connect with subtle planes of reality, balancing, tuning and uniting our mental, emotional and physical awarenes.. i see those who plays as divine channels from the deep within, sharing these synergic music as healers and transformators of the colective consciousness of our planet, of course as other artist as well... thanks 🙏

So where to begin with. I just got a locally made tongue drum after a thorough research of one or one and a half year, where I was watching watching videos of Kabecao and other Handpand, ravdrum and tongue drum artists. I just would tap my feet and nod my head musically to the music of such drums that I was made sure to try it out myself. Little did I know about the frequencies and the vibrations created by these instruments apart from the melodious sounds and somehow those frequencies and vibrations started to heal me, I used to get red faced after a long session of the tongue drum and feel good all day and not gloomy like before playing on tongue drum and not only me but the people I am playing it for. Even though I am newbie to this instrument, the people around me are so lost the melodious tunes of the tongue drum that neither they or me feel like I am a new tongue drum player. I am developing and learning to be more versatile on this instrument, apart from the meditational purposes. There is a sense of connection with the instrument that I am starting to feel and develop and with that being said I have always wanted to try my hands on Rav Vast Drums, as they seem to be the perfect balance between tongue drum and handpan. I wish and hope to be a part of this journey.

Kabe u r amazing as always! Should should I win? Well I’m an handpan player from israel since I was 15 I’m 20 now and I’m in the army. I get home every Friday so I could play 3-4 times and I have a handpan that I cannot tune duo to payment impossibly at the moment :) so I’ll be more than glad! Thank you all much love❤️
