I'm confused. On the 1st video you posted installing the carrier you did not use a piece of o-ring on the set screw holding the pin. But on this one you did? Do we not use the piece of o-ring on the normal probe but use it on the slug kit probe?
I just purchased an FX impact .357. It shoots 81 grain JSB pellets extremely well. And of course the FX 81 grain pellets as well. I picked up some NSA .93 grain hollowpoint slugs. I’m having some accuracy issues. Do you have any tips? And do you have any idea when we might see the FX hybrid in a .357? Do I need a different liner to shoot slugs? Or will the liner that came with it work OK if I tune the gun properly?
I've already bought a bigger screw for mine it has been a great upgrade. I can actually tighten it without it loosening all the time. I may be buying this soon just for more peace of mind. Ernest could you show the difference in valving between the most recent mk2 and the m3 I just bought my mk2 like 8 months ago. I wish I would've known about the m3, especially with as big of a purchase as the impact. I've already got a lot of money into it in upgrades. It's got almost everything the m3 does except the dual regs.
The longer FX has a 1.5mm hex the one I’m using is 2mm less chance of stripping the hex. Anyway don’t want to much torque on the rod on the pin probe just want resistance. You can use and screw you want its your impact!
@@ernestrowe5061 yeah I know it's 2mm but was wondering why didn't you use long screw instead. The oring cut is just too much hassle imo, so I used a drop of loctite on the pin threads just to make it more resistance. Thanks for great mod Ernest I just want to give you my feedback.
@@ernestrowe5061 sorry I should clarify myself. I had the huma dual transfer installed when I bought the gun,but was told there wasn't a pin probe upgrade at the time for the wcmk3. So I'm looking for something that would compliment the transfer port and make it better. If you have a suggestion ,I would appreciate it.
This has more to do with using the aftermarket pin probe. I think the probe itself should I have a locking feature. The rifle was designed for the pellet probe. The fx block works very well for that.
It’s crazy I have a M3 in 357cal and the probe comes loose all the time for the price there shouldn’t be any problems with this gun and to make things worse in 357cal it doesn’t shoot slugs well and another thing it’s advertised velocity is 930fps with slug power kit but there’s no kit available
Be interesting to see when my .22 Sniper M3 arrives if it has a beefier probe block, if not I'll be after the one you showcase here. Thank you.
@Brett Keegan. ?

Both have the same valve housing and valve rod.
@@ernestrowe5061 really wow cool thx. Do you know why everyone is saying that they updated the valving?
Is it possible to convert a 30 cal/600mm barrel without dropping 4 bills for 700mm barrel kit?
Piece ur string trimmer line would also work
How much are these selling for? Where are they being sold
Great video, are you still tuning airguns I have a fx 400 I would like to have tuned, whats the best way to contact you? Thanks
cool 👍👍👍
I like that probe block. Why didn’t FX just make it like that?
Maybe they have thousands of them to use up 1st
Does it work for the M3 in 357cal?
Use loctite low strength on the threads of the pin and tighten setscrew slightly with loctite on it to
Done that ! Can’t beat this clamp!
Why didn't you just use longer set screw like oem one instead of cutting an oring and putting it there?

@@ernestrowe5061 thanks. You are the man. Just got my M3 in today.
Is there a pin probe for the wildcat3
I made them for myself for the maverick same as wcmk3

Jesus christ it's the latest mk3 and you're ripping it apart already trying to improve...
Dont miss my last two impacts in the slightest!
