PEB(Pre Engineered Building) located in Upkar Habitat Layout
Plot Area - 30*40 Corner Lot
Building Area : Ground and First Floor - 25*35 Feet
Approximate Indicative cost incurred so far is ~30 Lakhs

Decking sheet from Jindal (JSW) is used
Some of tips before start the work are,
1)Accommodation for masons/welders if needed
2)Identify the location where to buy all the steel and other items
3)Oxygen cylinder
4)LPG Cylinder
5)Power supply with Generator backup
6)No LT/HT powerlines near the site
7)Easy mobility for cranes so it can lift and shift the I-Section pillars
8)Safety Arrangement
9)Plan for applying rust proof paint once the steel erection is completed so that you can avoid the rusting

Nice work. I follow his works on youtube. One suggestion i can give is that you should add a 2 feet shade around the building so that the walls don't get wet or subject to weather which will reduce building life.

You're right bro, summer season there are chances however you can pack it around the I section beams for not radiating the heat. In fact concrete houses as well becoming very much heated

The construction cost is the same as typical brick construction only the matter is time , if in that case we can choose XPS or EPS which is cheaper than Birla

hello .. appreciate your effort on creating such a content.. could you explain how toilets were done ? generally in buildings we have sunken slab to take out toilet water pipes.. how different is this in PEB ?

Its a very good question and very common mistakes that un skilled masons do and become silent when we ask question them.
However in this case owner have used the wall exit method of taking the sewage pipe for WC. For Bathroom, washbasin and kitchen drain they had 50mm pipe in the floor decking sheet at the time of roof casting. All drains come out from the wall located in the Firstfloor and no issues in achieving this.

Can we make it for our home as 2nd and 3rd floors. Already ground and 1st floor is there built with stone and bricks without any columns.
Sounds feasible provided ground and first floor should have done using column structured building with adequate load bearing foundation. In case of doubt then you may need to consult structural engineer first then decide accordingly
Is there any provision for solar system. Visakha solar roof top is available that can use in top floor roofing
As far as i know vishaka roof top solar cusomer care is very poor and not showing much interest to small need instead look for large deals i believe
instead of decking sheet can cement board of 18 mm or more
Fiber cement board seems to be an another alternate
Can we build such constructions in black cotton soil ( I mean soil is loose 😢). And can we get building plan by any routine architects or do we need to consider specific architects.. please advise sir .. And also the real question ! Do we get home loans for such constructions ?

>> Any building soil condition is important to be checked, if you're in doubt better check
with good civil engineer that you know in your location. Infact the soil where we grow
rice paddy type of land as well not so good for heavier construction as it might have
classified under wet land category in your sale deed.

>> Routine engineers or architects are 99% discourage you to do this way of doing construction
as they feel that steel structures are best for industrial purpose and where large span area
is exist. So very few engineer or architect who are familiar with the subjects can help you

>> As per theory Nationalised banks may discourage you by telling that steel structures are temporary and
may not provide home loan hence when you narrate project summary you can make narrative
such a way to get loan. Sometimes they themself give those suggestions because he/she will get

But the cost you have mentioned works to Rs.3,429/sqft isnt it? it seems very much on the higher side compared to conventional construction. Is the steel frame construction with Aerocon walls higher compared to traditional?

Several corrosion resistant paints are available from market which you can try. If you get chance to visit Bangalore Ikea furniture store then they used foamy type of painting for the steel structures which is used for commercial structures. I will try to share final finished video later on.
can we use precast slab for flooring
For residential purpose i won't recommend instead i would go with vitrified tiles as it's good for bangalore weather

Do we need town n country planning licence to this type of Eco friendly construction or Panchayat licence can be obtained ?
Only general House approval is sufficient however check with your engineer as well
Electrical wiring needs to be shown, how embedded is the wiring
This is possible in the gap in i section frames

What was your total cost for the building except the final furnishing?
Approx 30L same was mentioned during video and description as well
Final finishing is significant cost. 30l is for civil works only I think. Finished house will be close to 60 lakhs I feel
