- Another product to review. This time I bought it. Recommended by Sean in the Isle of Wight as his son-in-law has one. Dirt cheap. I bought two, but can it possibly be any good?
The price of these goes up and down. A couple of days ago, they were £32, today, I went to order some more and they were £42.

Looks a decent bit of kit there Paul…I bought one for £25, the volume buttons broke but for the money….i couldn’t turn it down…😁
I bought one to swap around between a couple of cars, I think for the price it's excellent. My only gripe is that it doesn't remember the time on its own internal clock. Not a massive issue as I always use android auto, for which it's fab.
Some of those I've seen are Android, so that would but I like the simplicity of not having a bloated Android operating system. Seems to work seamlessly without Android using its own OS.
You can gain a lot of traction by providing unpaid / unsponsored reviews ( I like that ) ..something sort of tacky about sponsored reviews…”we” like to think UA-camrs are average Joes entertaining us and educating us both …well done Paul good luck
I got asked to promote one of the many car check type sites. I told them I wouldn't put a 5 minute ad within each video . . . never heard from them again. I have it when channels do that.
Great little review video Paul, had look at these on the link and dont seem too bad, ideal for those older type cars that dont have option to replace radio easily
Just got mine. Not bad at all for the money 👍 had to adjust the brightness and the contrast as it was dull from factory settings. Also the mount doesn’t stick well so I’ve ordered a CD slot mount from Amazon..pretty sure the ball end of the window mount will fit ..fingers crossed and it will look much better
Let me know if it fits that’s not a bad idea. Gets it lower too then.
@@Love500 It works a treat! Looks really good and it’s not directly in front of the vents. Does cover the original stereo but it sits forwards enough to easily get your hands behind it if you ever want to do anything on it 👍 super happy with it now

If i play spotify on it, does it use the cars stereo sound system???? I have nissan leaf 2022
Can you bluetooth it to the car for audio out then connect the phone to it. Gets rid of the need for the fm thing which is sub sound.
I don't think so as the only bluetooth in the car is the Blue & Me, and that wouldn't be compatible. The stern itself doesn't have bluetooth.
I have the same unit. It’s a joke, unless you have a dull day the screen is very washed out. Try and adjust the brightness etc and washed out. On the mapping apps you can use, makes it so you can’t see the roads etc. it works well but display is pants, I even placed a matte screen protector on it cut down from one for a iPad 12.9 off eBay. As the screen is very reflective and harder to see with sun on it.
I’ve not had it for long as it’s gone off with the car to the new owner but that certainly wasn’t my experience of it.
I find anything on the dash of the Abarth blocks too much of the screen,and combined with the lack of seat height adjustment, wouldn't work for me, However ,could it be fitted the the sunvisor? whats the weight like? coul fold away then when set it to play or whatever.
Having driven this particular car, it doesn't really block your vision at all. It is very light, so could probably be attached to the sun visor. Sort of defeats the object but I suppose if it's playing music, you don't necessarily need to be seeing the screen. Not much use as a Sat Nav up there though.

I ordered 3 😂😂 then in typical AliExpress fashion it said I might be interested in another one which was only £24
I did look at the cheaper ones but they have lower quality screens
@@Love500 looked very similar to be honest. I just thought at that price what a great extra to put in to help the cars sell.

Not sure how it's any different to your phone. I mean yeah you can play music and videos on it, but you can do with that your phone in a phone holder.
Because it's a 10 inch screen, it's mounted nicely to your dash board and is not a hand held mobile device, so you won't get stuck on by the police for using a hand held mobile device at the wheel.
your car looks disgustingly dirty and full of bacteria - why would you not clean it if you knew you were going to film it?
