Your guitar sounds like pure gold
Anyone know what model it is? definitely more expensive than a beginner guitar lol
what a great guy, finding time to do a tutorial while on holiday with his family, thank you scott greatly appreciate these tutorials
Scott, saw every one of your videos to date. You nail every one of them. I just hope you never stop doing this with the REAL Skynyrd music because they have a lot of great songs. Let me rephrase that, there ALL great!! Not a bad Real Lynyrd Skynyrd song. Ronnie and the guys were all true musical geniuses.
Your tutorials are always inspiring. You seem to capture all the nuances that many of us simply overlook.
Just found you, Mr Raines, and you are the best guitarist I've ever seen that knows Skynyrd. I think that you do those men proud! Please keep doing what you're doing!
Gold...Thank u Scott...Beautiful acoustic tone...
Nice lesson Scott. Love the casualness and Ocean waves!
As always thank you so much for playing Skynyrd music the way it’s supposed to be played. You’re an amazing guitarist and you make learning much easier. Thank you and hope to meet you one day. God Bless
Yes!!!! Thank you Scott!
Such a great player! TY!
Man Scott your acoustic sounds really good . The treble side is blended. Well with the bottom end . Thanks for the lesson
Dude! That was badass! Thank you.
Thank you Scott, loved the show a few months ago in Effingham Illinois...Be well!
Incredibly helpful, thank you so much.
Hi good morning, I am very delighted to watch you playing on the acoustic after quite sometime as the acoustic sound is always ingrained in my daily routine. What I noticed from your play in the past, you execute everything upto perfect level unlike other youtubers. Hope that you have a good time with your family in this trip.
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Great! So glad I found your channel! Nice view!
Subbed for three reasons: great song (one of my favorite Skynyrd songs); you're choice of guitar (Larrivee's are phenomenal - have a D10 and L03R); and the lesson is clear. Thanks much, Broseph!
You're starting to look like a Rocker. Thanks for the breakdown. Really enjoy all the vids. Skynyrd tunes have so many great little licks. The guitar players must have really inspired one another.
Dude you are my hero for these tutorials, you don't even know... Thanks so much for being kind enough to share your knowledge with us. If you should ever get a chance to do a tutorial on Things Goin' On I would be forever grateful.
Thanks for keeping their music alive.
That guitar sounds so good. Great lesson
That's were I mess up is on the D thanks Scott ill go practice that tonight because It's easy to. Sing for me and I love the blues 😎
Lovely stuff
Another stellar lesson. Been killing it lately with Call Me the Breeze here in Central Florida. Still have a little more freedom than most down here in the South. Thanks!
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏼
Complete with the XL sticker on a new shirt...thanks for sharing a little of your vacation.
You noticed!! 🏆
Killer lesson, thanks
Awesome
Thx for that lesson Scott. Can you please show us the brilliant slide solo of that song? It is simply awesome!
Finally someone put this song into context..thx
I love playing and singing this one but never play it right I love the lessons my friend 🎶
Thank you, Michael! 🙏🏼
I just posted my Tribute to Whiskey Rock N Roller! Your lesson helped a lot! Thanks!
Subbed, im a fan , brotha, you sound great, sensei!
What guitar brand is you playing on?
Larrivee’ DV-05E. My workhorse!
Hey Scott, you guys played in my town a few months ago. When you guys played Curtis Loew, it gave me goosebumps, and I could not stop singing.
I’ve been trying to figure out how to play it at the. Local open mic event. I just came across your video and it is pure gold. I hope you guys come back to the Devon Amphitheater on Lake Decatur in Illinois again next summer!
So cool! Thanks for letting me know! Hope to see you soon!
Sweet!
I'm at the west coast in Vista CA it's always sunny I want some rain
Scott thank you for your awesome tutorial, and memories of my era. I hate to ask ,but can you share some slide on this song please. I am very grateful Ty
Thanks wish I’d have met you while I was still in Pensacola
Love it down there. We go every year.
Love em all! Thanks you can’t understand how much this means me and my abilities. How can I repay you?
You are so welcome. Thank you for your support!
Nice tone
Please do another lesson with the slide part and the solo please
GEEZ ..TUFF LIFE SCOTT😄😄😄👍
how about the classic slide riff tutorial?! Thanks
Man that guitar sounds good
I’ve been looking for years to see 3 guitar players and a bassist play this and Swamp Music. On both songs you can hear all of the parts in the pocket. I just think it would look cool.
Oh and that looks like a typical afternoon on the West coast of Florida.
Could you do things going on Skynyrd a lot of cool rifts in that one
Ed Kings finest hour. Early stuff is my favorite.
Just saw my first video. Have seen many videos of curtis loew but your version is closest to skynyrd. Hard to decipher when several things going on. Cool stuff!
Man, the guitar sounds great. But it seems you set up everything you play with some all the best tone.
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Beautiful guitar, what brand is it? Thks for the vid...
Larrivee DV-05E. I absolutely love it!
@@seraines OMG... the sound is glorious. Never heard of a Larrivee... is that an ebony fretboard?! I'm in love... :D
Special tuning or effects? Your guitar has a nice snappy resonant vibe to it.
I think it's partly due to the camera he's using. Im searching for a camera now and find most sound recordings are very thin.
Scott who are some of your other musical influences?
There are SO many from many different genres! Other instruments as well. I like playing other instrument parts on guitar. Really opens up the imagination. Organ, sax, etc
More blues
I think this is Emerald Isle at P.B.
What is the guitar you are playing?
Larrivee’ DV-05E
Sounds gorgeous, huge, almost like a 12-string or a piano
Man I'd love to hear you actually play it.
Hey pal crazy phil
Easy tell why how EdK said come on by ...
Man, that guitar has balls! I can’t read the headstock…
If Gary Rossington played the slide on that song, I think it might be the greatest slide solo ever.
Hard to top ‘Freebird’, but it’s close.
You do Skynyrd songs great…no surprise there.
There are many terrible versions of this song on UA-cam.
I don’t mean to be critical of those people, I think that song has so many things going on that it took Skynyrd’s full lineup to create that sound.
And, nobody can sing it like Ronnie with the soul and delivery.
I think Ed King might have played that slide solo. So, good to him.
I’ve seen where Ed showed you Skynyrd licks. No better way to learn something.
I think he must drink more than Curtis Loew ever did
Was it really a refreshment? You seem tired after a few sips.... Hihi
Florida sun, son.
And some sips too ... ;-)
It's still too fast lol
Can you go slower lol
Your all over the place your trying to play all 3 guitar parts at the same time
