I had to climb a ladder in a damn thunderstorm to rip these things out. These things restricted the flow of water too much causing my gutters to overflow. Once removed the overflow stopped. I do not recommend these rather expensive pieces of crap.
Gutter Stick for the win. We have found several mesh baskets actually jammed down the spouts. You were having to much fun with the hammer😆. Thanks for sharing 👍
I would only recommend the mesh baskets when a downspout had many offsets and could clog easy. Now the gutter stick will be my go to solution a majority of the time.
You're cheating on where you're putting the water, but I like the idea of the gutter stick. It makes sense. All those gutter guards that are supposed to keep gutters empty are garbage in the long run, and they make it more expensive to clean the gutters out. Now the gutter guard makes good common sense, and yes, I will sell these to my customers.

You would think that wet leaves would stick to the gutter stick and then restrict water from going into the holes on the gutter stick.

Which would be good for stopping acorns? I get a good amount of acorns stuck in the spout.
You may as well just put a plate over your downspout hole, it'll do the exact same thing
