This Video is part of a project to attempt to convey the beauty of the Japanese musical genre known as ENKA-SONG to an English-speaking audience.

・「娘ざかり」のこと
娘ざかりを「結婚適齢期」(marriageable age)と解釈して訳しています。
「deprive A of B」で、「AからBを取り上げる」という意味になります。
Our love might deprive you of the marriageable age.
(私たちの恋愛は、君から結婚適齢期(娘ざかり)を奪ってしまうかもしれない。)
・「Pinky-promise (小指の誓い)」のこと
「Pinky-promise」とは、「針千本のます」というペナルティが省略されて、つい最近アメリカの若い女性世代に伝わった小指でする"かわいらしい誓いのポーズ"のことです。
「指きりげんまん」の習慣がない西洋では、「指きり」「からめた小指」が「約束の儀式」という認識がありません。
そのようなことから 説明の意味をふくめて「からめた小指」を 「Pinky-promise is our engagement ceremony.」と訳しました。
「からめた小指」を互いに噛むとは、おたがいに結婚の約束を破ったことにして、おたがいに痛み(ペナルティ)を分け会いませんか?という解釈で訳しています。
・「"like the pie in the sky. "」のこと
「雲の上のパイみたいだ。」は「絵に描いたもち」の英語バージョンの慣用句です。
"My happiness is like the pie in the sky. "「私の幸せは、絵に描いたもちみたいなもの」と訳しています。
・「季節そむいた 冬のつばめよ」のフレーズのこと
北欧にはツバメが飛んでこない国もあるし、ツバメが渡り鳥ということも知らない人もいるので、
"Bird migration"(渡り鳥のわたり)という動物学でつかう専門用語を使っています。
「季節そむいた」とは、集団のルール(モラル)に反して別行動(不倫)をしたばあい、厳しい試練がまっていることの比喩と解釈して訳しています。
せっかく仲間のオスツバメ(独身)が、一緒に行こうと誘ってくれているのに、凍えながら越冬(不倫)することを選んでしまったという感じて訳しました。

my guess that it's actually not a word to be translated, but a "sound" describing or imitating the words that male bird \ female swallow are saying (in their language of course),it's a famous thing in many languages, things like "doki doki" describing heartbeat, or things like Woof \ moo in English to describe animals sounds.
@@twety17 "Hyururi" is the sound of swallows chirping. This song describes the feelings of a woman who sees swallows that have failed to migrate to warmer places in the winter and sees her own feelings of missing out on marriage due to unrequited love.
