I love this, I’m in a situation like this and I have been waiting for months for the final call now another agency called yesterday to continue with psych I missed months ago. So this video took some stress off me
Currently had my first interview and did my pre assessment physical test which I passed. It’s been about a month now and I haven’t heard anything.Sent a little follow up email just to see where everything stands and nothing still. My friend got hired for round 1 hoping I get a call for round 2 or 3
I’ve done the PAT, BI interview, fingerprinting, Psych exam and eval, polygraph, medical and was most recently asked to write an autobiography to the chief himself which was two weeks ago and haven’t heard back from my BI since then. Should I be worried or encouraged? I constantly hear that “No news is good news” and I haven’t reached out in order to not tick her off and allow her to do her job undisturbed at least by me anyway. Fingers crossed 🤞🏾 but having gotten nearly to the end of the hiring process with a previous dept and being notified that I wasn’t selected, I’m a bit nervous. Cautiously optimistic and being hired by this dept would mean the world to me and I’m ready to busy my a## for the opportunity to earn their badge.
Thats interesting about them filling their academy. I passed everything, post, backround, interview, polygraph, psch eval and physical. I hate my current job that I can retire from. Hopefully not to much longer.
I am. I just emailed the officer who conducted my background check. Maybe I can get information on how long before I get an offer or an estimated time frame. I waited 🎉 time to not be pushy. Im guessing they probably get frustrated, too, being short staffed.
I had gone up to the polygraph with an agency and I didn’t hear back from them for probably 4-5 months and within those months I might’ve emailed them every 2-3 weeks. I wonder if they passed on me for being persistent.
Hello, I want to ask you, I did the entire hiring process, they took my uniform measurement and they gave me the academy paper, what I have to bring, but I try to send it to the department and it doesn’t respond back and not whether to attend the physical at the entrance to the academy
I took and passed both my physical fitness and written exam and they emailed me about a month ago saying they'd schedule me within the next week or two for the panel interview but just got an email saying they closed their hiring process without any communication in between. Is that normal?
I passed the pellet b, interview with recruiter and sergeant first. Then had another interview with the two captains. It has been 2 months and no response. Academy is tentatively starting in June/July. Should I contact them again? I contacted the recruiter and he said the same response you mentioned “hurry up and wait”. Not sure what to do now. Any advice?
@@armogantraining7164 I contacted the recruiter a month after the last interview. I passed my board interview with 93% or so the email said. The second interview I didn’t get no response.
@@armogantraining7164 thank you. Should I contact the recruiter; however, since he is in duty he is busy and don’t want to bother. Or should I contact the last person I had contact with, which was the executive lieutenant? Tia

Sit tight for a little longer.
Did they get back to you , and it’s okay to send a professional following up email… That’s what I did

Still waiting for my background information and I have a clean background the main guy said it would take two weeks and haven’t got an update.
You can reach out after 4 weeks of no contact
During the background investigation - which is done, however, waiting for fingerprints to come back. How long does that usually take?
This depends the background can't be done without fingerprints. The background will be the official last thing completed before your final offer.

It more likely you had an issue with the poly sign up for a call and we can discuss it further.

You need to reach out and make contact with them

Send a follow up email asking if you're still in the process.
How many weeks does it usually take for them to get back to you after applying?
Depends on the department. I usually recommend a professional and specific follow up after a month.
@@armogantraining7164thank you it’s been 1 week exactly since I’ve applied to an agency
Hi. Hi . What is the reading, writing and video test score to pass ? And how long it takes to get to know if you passed or not?
Different for every test, but a few weeks at the longest

@@123cops who ever contacted you last
Will I fail a police background check if I am related to any convicted felons?
No, but the will ask you how much contact you have with that person.
