Cop Criticized at Ceremony: ‘You’re a Bad Police Officer’

- An awards ceremony for several sheriff’s deputies turned into a complete embarrassment for one of them, as an official publicly shamed the officer. Deputy John Gallardo received a Deputy of the Month award at the Tamarac City Commission in Florida. But shortly after photos were taken, City Commissioner Mike Gelin called Gallardo to the front of the room and confronted him about a 2015 incident. “You don’t deserve to be here,” Gelin told Gallardo. #InsideEdition

@@letsgobrandon6014 he deserved to be called out. I bet he has done so much worse
@@bgos4727 How do you know? You don't know him. What if someone called you out and humiliated you during a ceremony?
@@letsgobrandon6014 that cop didn’t do anything when that man called him out he just smiled and walked away with a thumbs up.
“Could’ve handled the situation differently”? No sir. You handled it perfectly.
Officer should stand down or be sacked
Nothing to be ashamed of. Someone needed to say it.
The fact that he could have ruined his life with his lies he was perfectly calm not many people would be.
Man was trying to play it off as he was lying like "Okay, okay, sure buddy."
Charles Crandall Shut up. The officer got away with criminally lying. That citizen had every right to speak up.
Charles Crandall is just trolling people for attention. Just ignore him and don't comment.
@@SailorSocko many people agree with you I'm sure sad to say many people haven't learned the science of ignoring people
Neither one of them was lound and both was pretty quiet. And u shouldnt say he is lyin because we dont know that. But i will say this ir that was 4 years ago. The officer could have change and this should have been in private
Hats off to that commissioner. We need more people like him. We live in a world where liars and bad people get awards left and right.
We don't need more people like him. We need to act like him
That guy has balls! I respect and love him for that. That's a real man.
How do you even know??? How would we know which of them was in the right? What if he did arrest him lawfully and according to the law and the commissioner is using his power to get away with it
@@projectmanhattan3783 If he did arrest him lawfully then i am sure commissioner would not have made a scene like that. A lot of cops abuse their power. I am thankful for cameras:))))
@@projectmanhattan3783 I think the officer's silence says it all. He could have objected in case the commissioner was wrong and just told him that it was not true, but the officer was silent, because he knew it was true and he couldn't deny it.
Two thumbs up to the commissioner and two thumbs down to the Mayor……My Hat is off to you Commissioner…Very well spoken!
Fabulous!
I'm glad he spoke up, and what better time to unmask a Fake???
