We opposite😂 I’m boutta hit the gym. Also when I do that lunge stretch my Left hip has no mobility or movement when my left leg is at 90 going to lunge. But my right can lunge for days. Gotta try this now
My chiropractor wanted me to look up psaos muscle stretches. My back is more crooked than a politician. Thank you for these videos!!! This couldn't have come at a more perfect time.
I had the same problem with my right glute, less mass and very low activation. I tried the suitcase deadlift Squat University recommended and it has been GREAT for my lagging glute, I feel it has more mass than before and also activates more during movements engaging the glute Highly recommend doing suitcase deadlifts right after this stretch for maximum benefit

def gonna try this. Ive had hip flexor problems like impingement for a while and ive been trying to strengthen my hip flexors directly which has helped alot, but if I can get rid of pain while squatting with this even better.
That left psoas muscle caused me pelvic pain for 18 months...i've finally fixed my CPPS after many psoas stretching exercises and glute strengthening ones too
I know tightness in your hip can make it difficult to engage your glutes. For a long term solution, is it worthwhile to train your hip flexors to avoid this kind of issue?
How did they measure her "glute activation"? EMG electrodes? Load cells? Accelerometers? For a channel that calls itself "Squat University" these guys are unscientific and gimmicky as hell. I guess she "felt" her glutes activate more, before that she was extending her hip using telekinesis.
Good lift! Here is a tip! She needs to work on her form a bit. When coming out of the hole your ass should squat into the lift while the head looks up almost to the ceiling, forming the “head up ass down” that is so crucial in both squats and deadlifts. If she did there would be no pause in her movement, and their realty shouldn’t be no matter the weight. 👍😀
Why lift so heavy right afterwards? She should lift less weight and practice engaging the glute for a few days before lifting this heavy like normal again
@@Shahiidentertainment 100%! Deadlift with proper form and loads that your body can handle, and it is the true king of all gym exercises. @dwolrdcojp what's that got to do with people constantly claiming your glutes are on or off? What a stupid response. If your glutes weren't on, you won't be walking.
@@dianner5148 and this video isn’t about walking 💀 it’s very common to feel weak activation in a muscle during heavy lifting due to instability or muscle tightness. Obviously the muscle isn’t a light switch. You’re taking the saying too serious. To lifters it can feel as the muscle isn’t awake or on or not activating or poor mind muscle connection. Whatever you want to call it. Why slander the creator of these videos as he constantly is producing videos that help people?
The only bad thing about this vid is that it came out 12 hours too late😭😭 I was tight as hell this morning

do you feel tightness around the area where the bicep connects to your forearm? or the area around the wrist?

We do a similar stretch in gymnastics. It's so good. Only difference is front leg is parallel instead of 45° out. I'm gonna try your version.
Tldw: warm up your hips before deadlifts
You have an amazing physique!!

Train hip flexors and also work on hip mobility. Balance should be there between front and back
I believe trying to really activate your flutes and make sure you can feel both while doing hip flexor mobility

You can also do this in a standing position.
