This is further proof that UA-cam rabbit holes can be amazing.
I had no real interest in magic shows and tricks mainly because I found the language and presentation usually outdated. That was until a few weeks ago, when YT out of nowhere recommended this magic castle show.
I watched this performance and was so mind blown that in fact I ended up watching solely magic tricks and shows on the platform the whole time. Today, I return back to where it all began...
So, as an outcome of my extensive YT research, I can comfortably say that this specific show is hands down the most entertaining piece of magic currently on YT. The combination of exceptional selection of tricks, the narrative and the well thought and executed crowd control makes it an absolutely mesmerising experience.
Thank you sir for this incredible performance and for sharing it with all of us online!

Just watched this, amazing routine, the constant turns are almost fatiguing the mind. I love how you connect with the audience and bring them in with the promise of showing them how its done, and then never let off. Fantastic. Also you do in fact show them how its it's done.

This is terrific - same vibes as a Peter Morrison show I saw years ago at the Marrakech Magic Theater. Hope to see you some day!

I for one will remember the name, Jason Ladanye. You sir are a consummate professional, performer, extraordinaire. Your control of the cards is nothing short of exceptional and your routine is very tight and brilliantly done, not to mention very entertaining. The flawless and clean execution you demonstrate here as well as your misdirection is to be commended. I am actually running out of all the cool fancy, flowery vocabulary words I know in order to elucidate your high caliber of skill that you use to do your magic smoothly and effortlessly. Sorry to gush on like that, I am sure you get that all the time, but I was sincerely impressed especially from your showmanship and how you controlled the crowd that seemed a bit on the rowdy side to me. I am as green as they come and just starting my own journey into learning the ways of magic and have recently become obsessed over card magic in particular, your level of skill and experience from the at least,10,000 hours or more you must have put into honing your craft is remarkable and exemplifies what can be achieved in this art form. You have set a high bar for me to strive for. Thank you for this marvelous performance it was as much an educational experience as it was enjoyable. Well done.

I got around to finally watching this pretty late, but it bears repeating again; The crowd work is so on point. Also the move at 4:00 was *chef's kiss*. I used to think that the best people at that move who couldn't be touched were the Jason Englands, Alex Pandreas and Jonathan Kamms of the world but yours is literally just as smooth if not better.

I love being baffled by your stuff, and so somehow, it was even more fun having a dim idea how the invisible palm works. When the first card appears on the table was definitely the most magical, because after that, I I expected the rest. But I had to re-watch it, because it was so cool, and I could imagine what had to be the case (for how it works). It's that classic: even when you know how it works, but can't see it. I'm not saying I know, just felt like I had an idea. Really fantastic. Thanks!

Just had a Jason splurge on UA-cam shorts but you can’t beat a show. This is showmanship at its best, great audience participation and involvement and simply some of the best slights and card control (I’m mindful here as it’s the mental discipline which really sets this apart) ever performed. Honestly, Jason Ladanye is creating his legacy.

He is as good at this as any human is good at anything. Just his card skill is unbelievable by itself but also so hilariously and wildly entertaining. And he makes it all seem so effortless.
