I have traveled to Scotland and seen some of the main sites around Edinburgh, Glen Trool, Stirling and Dumfries, but I’d love to come back and see more. I wasn’t studying Bruce really when I was there, so some things I’d like to take a second look at.
Any, or even all, you’re correct. There’s 3 caves in that particular chamber but that’s the one that has had his name down through the centuries. I also take into account the area of forest now, which is large and has deep gorges, and would have been much more extensive back in those days, which has an abundance of caves and rock formations, as a perfect place for hideouts.

You may be surprised to find how much history you have on your doorstep. All it takes is a wee bit of digging..

They are truly amazing, some rocks are double cut into seats on both sides high up the Glen path.
