Hello Lisa and Oskar. Congratulations on starting your around the world adventure! Thanks for making this first video, along with your website ( www.sy-hilma.com ). I look forward to watching future episodes and seeing how your journey develops. I'm particularly interested in your planned trip down the coast of South America, to Antarctica and then across the South Pacific. My wife and I are in the early stages of planning a similar journey, so I'm curious about the length of your preparation period. Perhaps all the information I'm looking for is in a blog on your website - I'll go and look. :-) Thank you for letting us hear you speaking Swedish to each other - it's nice to hear - like watching a foreign film, with subtitles. :-) All the best from Australia. Best regards, Rick.
Hello, thank you for your words. :) Most of it is in our homepage but if you wonder anything els you can send us an email. And of course, good luck with your plans! Best regards, Lisa and Oskar
If I might suggest, please take more care with the audio levels and balance in post production. Some parts of this video are inaudible and some deafening especially on a home theater. Visually beautiful. Please continue.
Of course, thanks. We couldn't hear anything wrong with the music but now we have got an explanation and will lower the music in the future and hope it will make it better. :) Thank you!
Hilma Sailing There are two issues, one is the inconsistent levels of music to vocal audio and some painfully loud music (example at approx 9:00 so loud I had no option other than to turn audio off as my headphones were on minimum and it was too painful). Otherwise great first video- another RAN - hurrah.😀👍⛵️
Well shot and great subject matter. A few little problems with audio but you will get that under control. My only request is that you don't fall into the habit of putting music soundtracks over everything, for us poor suckers stuck on the shore we love to hear the wind and the sea and the sounds of sailing, please don't remove them just because you are used to them. Have a wonderful time during your travels and though many tough times will come your way the joys and pleasures will far outweigh them. Happy travels.
Whoa! It seems like you left Sweden only a couple months ago, but you are now crossing the Pacific!? Oh yes, it has been a year since you left Sweden. Looking back, I see that your first video was uploaded on 14 Aug 2017. Where does the time go? Anyway, it has been fun following you. Your Pacific crossing looked like fun too. Best wishes.

For a first video, it was enjoyable, especially as I got to see some of Scandanavia. I agree with others' comments about the narration level, that would be big improvement. And hopefully you will show us around that beautiful boat at some point. Thanks!
Congrats on your first video. My advice would be that you need a lot more voice over on the video. We need to know what you're doing and more importantly what you're thinking. Cheers.
There are far too many sailing videos with people talking endlessly... so boring! Let the images speak! Enjoy the silence of the sea and the beauty of the open space.
Hej hej, kul med en till svensk seglings kanal! Med lite justering av ljudbalanser mellan tal, musik osv i framtiden så ska det nog bli gött å följa det här å :)
From Scandinavian Fjords to Caribbean islands to Pacific Atolls to the Philippine archipelago ..good luck, bon voyage in your second half of your journey home to Sweden.
Good afternoon Sailboat Hilma, My name is Anselmo Oliveira, I'm Brazilian, I'm still living in northeastern Brazil, but I'm planning to live in my sailboat and go to meet other people and other civilizations. I am studying and learning the English language, I already write and read reasonably, I understand the context of a spoken conversation, when the interlocutor speaks more slowly. But what matters is that I will learn to understand English and make myself understood, because my Portuguese language also has its complications. I will be accompanying you, because I want to learn from you. Congratulations to you and good winds ... See you! Thank you!
Hello Anselmo, That sounds like a nice plan! From what we can read above, it seems like the studies are going great :) Thank you and good luck to you! Best regards, Oskar and Lisa
666 sub ;-) Fantastic first movie. Not everyone needs to film with a camera for 2000 $ and have film director education. Perfect for me. Coming after you next year .... if it is the canaries and the Atlantic Ocean waiting for you ;-) Greetings from Norway
You'll work out the sound stuff in time - it takes everyone a little bit. :-) You guys are off to a great start though! I would love to travel this part of the world! Do you guys find that the Jeanneau is an issue with condensation in the Scandinavian climate? Seems like the boats built in that region are more insulated than the production boats from the Med. Anyway - new subscriber, and much appreciation for the English narration/subtitles for us lazy English-only speakers. :-) Cheers from Oregon (in NW USA).
Thanks! :) Yes, we think thats kind of an issue.. We are sailing the biggest part of our journey in warmer climate so we are hoping that it won't be a problem further on. That's nice to hear :) Cheers!
You can read about those things on our homepage (www.sy-hilma.com) and there is a translate function so you can switch to English. Yes, we do have a watermarker and we have written more about it in our blog wich you can reach from the homepage, if you're interested. :)
Thank you. Our dream boat would be an Hallberg Rassy or Najad, or something like that.. But that wasn't in our budget so we found this one for a reasonable price in Italy so we bought her there, took her to Sweden and worked with it for a couple of years. 🙂
Thank you. In a future episode we will tell you more about us. Just now we are focusing to learn how to do this.. :) But meanwhile, you can se some of the information on our homepage www.sy-hilma.com
Härligt med en till svensk seglingskanal. :-) Men en sak, sänk volymen på musiken i videorna och höj volymen på talet, är lite jobbigt att höja och sänka volymen hela tiden. :-)
Great video leaving Sweden I really enjoyed completely. Well done . Warm greetings from the garden of Kauai.

A good thing to do for us viewers, but also for your one sake - put the date in the videos 👍
Looks promising so far ☀️⛵️🇩🇰
