Khyber & BMO Fun!

- BMO (beemo aka be-more) does not feel comfortable flying as much solo since he got stolen (long story but got him back a week later) so Khyber the blue and gold macaw came out and it brought BMO out of his shell a little more!
Even though Khyber stole a lot of BMO's blue berries haha

Roku & Korra are in the nest log sitting on 1-2 eggs however I'm thinking they will again be infertile due to Korra's age.
Pabu had to be split up from Dory due to being hormonal and hurting her by getting verrrrry forceful with his "relations" haha so now he is sharing a aviary with Aud the galah.
Dory is staying in a house full of girls (one of my co-workers) as she and BMO fight and Dory has a new love for females only lol

I will continue to try and do a couple of videos each month, hopefully another big parrot play date coming up as my work hours start to go back to normal :)
I have had an immense amount of changes in my life both good and bad, involving the loss of family and friends to suicide. Also new businesses and work ventures.
So I've not intentionally left, I will be back!

When the new Avatar is born from Roku & Korra I shall return with almost daily videos of all the baby antics!!

Pepi da Amazon and i, would like to join you. Pepi already flew and came back, but a bit risky here in Oakland. Went flying far last two times, almost lost it. Usually doesn't fly, but likes to get some fresh air. I do worry about earthquake or fire, when working.

Thanks for your wonderful videos, my Lineolated parakeet loves to watch them with me. Also, I just loved to see the power in Khyber's flight, he makes it look so effortless!
I am soooooo glad you got BMO back! That must have been a heart wrenching, gut wrenching, panic stricken, sick feeling in the gut (insert your own unimaginable awful feeling here) time for you. I love your birds and check in when I am able. It is always great to see your feathered friends and their antics. They make me smile. God bless you.

Fav vids on all of utube. Our GW does the same things...chases toes whenever he can and throws fits when he doesnt want the fun to end. They truly are just the funiest companions to have. They get you so frustrated then do just the most endearing actions of empathy.....our GW knows when something is off and will ask "whats a matter baby"...love your flocks, keep up the great vids as your able.

Isn't that just like a 5 year old taking a tantrum not getting their way lol. I have been a long time Fan of Jamie and Dave " Birdtricks" who just got back from Australia seeing the Galas and others. I'm sure u have heard of them. I'm unable to put the care into these magical creatures so I get my fix watching a SELECT few of Free Flyers and Bird lovers who teach others all that's Right and Good for caring and raising them. Even though I dont know you and your life story, I'm deeply sorry for your family loss, and have myself had to face this kind of grief. My heart and prayers go out to you. The person who made this video is focused on the parrots only and the trainer/owner also avoid to show themselves.
Highly appreciated 👍 on their mentality.

I love that no one is forcing birds to fly, I've a guy in my group who is throwing his ag into the air, says its lazy and wouldn't fly if he didn't sent him..but I feel we fly for fun, I let my macaw decide most of the time he won't because there's birds of prey around, he does this cute little growing noise when the buzzards, who's nest we fly beside, I feel like there used to my macaw and more dangerous birds won't come near there nest..but he's started to land on strangers and every trick I know to stop it hasn't worked..im at a loss, never in 30 yrs flying macaw have I trained a bird like this harlequin..

was a few weeks ago, i was at work and he broke out of his cage. He was then found by a man who purchased a cage for him informing workers he was going to return to owner.
This information was obtained via community page, however after 3-4 days it was clear he was not returning as he never called the number, reported him found or contacted any local vets.
I was walking the streets every day for the week calling out and eventually heard him call back from inside the house.
So i filmed it incase i needed it for police, long story short after finding out which house he was in I got him back that day. :)

Every times i see them start, I'm afraid they will not coming back. My yellow crested is unable to fly from birth, so in summer is sit 2 hours the day with him in the garden and he enjoys sitting in the trees and sleep.

I have grey parrot, I just buy it is almost 6 to 7 months old. I want to give him pallets but he didn’t eat that he likes mostly seeds. How can I trained him to eat pallets?
You just need to introduce them with the seeds. I give my macaw, ringnecks and Alexandrine, seed, pellets (zupreem fruit blend, tropimix) and fresh fruit and vegetables. It just takes some time but they will eat them
