- Apologies for the delay everyone, here is the rest of the little mini gathering we had.
I'm sorry for the shakes in my hand, it's been a little off since my injury a while back (you can probably spot when it happened as the videos lost alot of stability)
I hope everyone is doing well in these crazy times, I have only just gotten back to work but taking it slow.
Fingers crossed we all come out the other side for the better.
I have spent 6 weeks out on family farm so will get around to uploading those videos soon too. Nothing exciting in them, just Pabu and friends being silly haha

My grandma has a cockatiel and her name is Zuzu, she is so freakin cute and is 30 years old 8 think. Sometimes she will sing for you and say “I love you you know!” Such a smart bird.
aww :( I have missed your videos SO MUCH! I was watching an older video (since you aren't posting anymore) and watched Mr. Pabu and Rowie flying together. I forgot all about how noisy Pab-Pab was and probably still is lol. Remember way back when he knocked over some beetroot juice (I think?) and his feathers turned reddish dark pink ;) ;) ;) what a nightmare Pabu! little mischief man! I miss his antics. BTW I love the relationship you and BMO have. He seems like such a sweet lovable gentle soul. I remember you debated over whether or not to keep him. Bet you're glad you did now. Thanks for the new video. Loved and still love watching!!!

Used to have an Umbrella Cockatoo named Elvis and he was the most adorable show off and cuddlebug. These kinda vids make me miss him, very quirky fella, he insisted that his name was "Cockatoo" and that was the only word he knew how to say so he was a lot like a real life Pokemon.
Love birds but idk if I'll ever have the time available for that kind of commitment to a pet again. Birds just have so many needs compared to more manageable pets....

Iv been contemplating getting an indian ring neck. Iv never had a bird. What are things that make it hard? The last thing I want to do is get one and have it become attached to me then have to get rid of it and break its heart.

I totally get it. And Im 100% in the same boat. It was easy to look after a bird as a teenager. Now I just dont have the time
@@guffalump756 Exactly. Birds feel like pets for retired people or folks that are successful enough to spend enough time to allow for the bird to be a proper pet.
Otherwise you've just got a caged and lonely animal or you've got a bunch of budgies together and they're more akin fish than real pets.

It doesn’t really matter if he loves you because they can get spooked and panic and not know how to come down or get back
I don't have to worry too much about my budgies. They only make round trips. They also just like to fly in the living room.
parrots are extremely smart animals. just like you can walk with your dog without a leash on and it wont just run away, a parrot will also just stay around and come back to you
if anything, what I'd be worried about is a falcon just coming down and going for it, though usually they tend to go for smaller birds
Same, I have nightmares about my birds getting out of the house and I can’t get to them. This gives me such anxiety but it’s beautiful to watch.

Wow, I can't imagine the amount of time and work to tame these birds to come back. Must have been raised in captivity.
No they were trained obviously and raised since birth, perhaps a Form of captivity but you see they make sure they fly a lot.

I have a ringneck parrot he is still young he is hand fed and i want to learn him to free fly but I’m scared that he will fly away
I'm no expert but if your hand feeding the thing from birth it will know who it's 'mom' is plus I think they imprint so they would come back even if you took it outside like these guys. I mean they'd panic of they couldn't find you probably.
Yeah it take lot of practice
He must grow up with you and he mustn't be scared of you. It will took time but it will be effective.

My cockatoo flies. But she flies to the neighbours roof down the street and just plain ol refuses to come back. Then I have to knock on the door and explain “hey dude, my parrot is on your roof am I good leaning my 35’ extension ladder against your house?”.
Yep That's right ... It's not as easy as you may think !!! 😁 It takes ,Time, Dedication and above all The Know How . Its not for anybody ...or everybody .

It's just for the transport, it's illegal keeping them in small cages and you need a license for them

I would love to have another parrot, but I live in a wood-frame apartment condo now. We’re not allowed to have loud birds.
When we see how long he fly, we allways now thats is what Birds will do, there need to fly, high and long ways, not only in a room, but i now the danger is when there fly away,there dont now what there eat, and died with out food!! Every city i wishes have a very big cage 5 meter high and 30 meter long! every person there have a bird ,can go to this big cage and the bird can fly in the big cage!! the bird are happy to fly and there cant fly away!! sorry for my bad english, Reiner from Germany
