Hi i've had the drone for two years or so, but for health reasons wasn't able to fly. When I first bought it, everytime I would get up in the air, it would immediately take off, high speed, uncontrolable in any direction. I just got it out from under the dust yesterday and wanted to try again .. same result. I've callibrated several times, but it doesn't change. How does the trimming work and can I do this without the copter being up in the air? Would this help?

Thanks Blazemalta :-) Transmitter range is between 80 to 100 meters. I have not tested what happens when range is exceeded as the area i flew the drone in was too small, but usually a quadcopter without GPS will just hover and some may fall out of the sky if the drone can't connect to the transmitter.
You're pretty good drone pilot seems like you know your way around drone pretty comfortably. You're just zipping around like it's nothing. When I fly my spark I'm paranoid than careful

that drone looks nice. there is JDRC JD-20 S JD20S WiFi now. i thinking of get that one dont see many vid on it on UA-cam so i am waiting to see more of that one
Hey Ants Ramos Sounds like a motor has failed unfortunately, with the motors off, if you tap the motor that’s not spinning does it start when you activate the other motors? Just something I like to try, it rules out a sticky motor and a failed motor. If it’s sticky a slight tap will start it but I would say you would be better off replacing that motor as you don’t want it to fail midair but if it’s failed then it won’t start. Let me know how it goes :-)
unfortunately u got what u paid for .if u pay a 100 which already was fail because u get this one @XXALADIN.com(u know which one i mean xD )for 59 dollars for a cheap china replica u cant xpect to get a high end s.o.t.a Drone, in some cases u better buy an original instead of a cheap copy Dude.sorry fot these kind a fail invest

Hi mate, yeah they do take a lot of storage space. I have around 85 at the moment, down from 120, I keep them in large plastic stackable crates with transmitters in another large crate and batteries in Lipo fireproof storage bags. And the ones im retiring now i keep on the wall , although its getting quite full :-)

Ah man thank you :-). It's such a shame that some batches of the same quad are good and some bad. I had a terrible experience with the Hubsan X4 Star, it's such a shame.
JD, You know that the QC on these toy grade Chinese quads can be shaky at best. This is my second JD (NO RELATION TOO YOU) QUAD. The first one the JD 11 was also a turd. as a matter of fact it was way worse than this.
That is very true. Oh wow, that's not good. Sorry to hear you had 2 bad experiences mate,. It was because the JD-11 (still no relation:-) was pretty good i bought this one.
Bro, got a question over here. Could you take some pics with connecting de smartphone to the quad? I just can't get to save any footage (pic or vid) without binding it to the SP.
Hey Memo oohh good question mate, if you open the app with the drone connected and click the photo button it should ask you to give the app access to your camera roll or photo library so you can save the pictures. If for any reason it doesn't, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app again and try again. I can't say i have had this issue with this drone but with others i have seen similar and usually reinstalling the app can help, have you tried. If that doesn't work, pop an SDCard into the back of the drone and click the left upper shoulder button on the controller (short press) and that should take a photo direct onto the card. Hope this helps bud 👍😀
If I still had the drone I would test for you bud, i think I only ever took photos with my smartphone if I'm remembering correctly while using the transmitter to fly. I'll have to watch this back when I leave work and let you know if that's cool bud 👍😀

I only get this quadcopter to fly 2 times when I started again it keep going on forward and back in the here and the front Dawn what is the problem

Oohh that is a good question, i think the motor housings on the JD-20 are too wide. Tell you what ill check and let you know :-)

I can only with the app mate, using only the controller with no smartphone I can't get it to take photos nor videos :C
