Do not try to sweat by pushing boundaries or taking risks. Way too many pilots I knew killed themselves and others thinking this was ok. Instead strive to fly “the black line” which is the plan you made for the most perfect, safe flight you or your employer, instructors, mentors, regulators can devise. Take pride and enjoyment executing this plan as the professional pilot you always strive to be. ( from a 20,000 plus hour wide body international captain who soloed in 1980)
Thank you for your comment; you raised some good points. The intent of this video is not to encourage students to take unsafe risks but rather to inspire them to step out of their comfort zones while training under the supervision of their flight school. Over the years, we've observed students consistently opting for the easiest approach to gaining experience-always flying to familiar airfields in perfect weather along known routes. However, upon entering the workforce, they often find themselves compelled to fly in adverse conditions, to unfamiliar airfields, and through challenging airspace without the same instructional support. Sometimes, this lack of diversified experience does lead to future problems.
@@flightclubonline okay yeah i understand your point. What you are saying is 1500 hrs flying from Point A to B < 1500 hrs flying in different weather and places Yeah i've got no problem with that. Ive just got the impression at first as if you were telling people to take unwanted risks in flight xD. PS. love all the other lessons on this channel. definitely a gold mine.
good tips, though the mantra is missing that any good instructor will teach you and will guide you through all lessons, exams, new ratings: aviate, navigate, and communicate. If you keep that in mind both while studying and flying, you'll find everything fits together much more easily in your brain.
My added Tip would be : _"Make sure that you understand."_ Whether that is ATC, something your Instructor said, a question on an exam or anything to do with your tasks ahead : _"Make sure that you understand (the request, the concept, etc.)."_
Thank you very much for your videos. My idea is to be there mentally when you study . forget everything else and stay concentrated . Follow your schedule strictly. Have discipline . Stay motivated !
One of my tips is If you feel like giving up Remember the younger you who dreamt to sit in a cockpit and compare how much you have come forward Instead of overthinking about your failures Slide it off and think about moving forward (Remember the plane also takes off against the wind)
When flying with the CFI, a good CFI will critique you at the end of each lesson. He or she will point out your strengths and also your deficiencies. In terms of your deficiencies they will also provide you with a corrective action plan. If they don't do ALL of this then find another instructor.

i was thinking of this too when they said sweat little 😆. People should only take risks to learn when they are in a simulator.
