    I wish we could hear this in the concert hall a bit more. It's so underrated (and probably unknown) by most professional pianists. A brilliant etude, which I feel is a great piece of programme music.

    lmao he really needed to remind us that it's indeed alkan composing at the all moderato section, just in case we were skeptical with that adagio section
