- In this video take you through the entire process of assembling, modifying, flying and comparing to the FMS 1700mm Corsair. This is very nice RC Plane and with the right skills it could be a 1st warbird. At the end of the video I give away another FMS 800mm Zero.

I love FMS’s planes, they have never disappointed me with one. And that FMSZERO looks like a beauty too on a smaller plane, Very high quality
This is a good plane and I was very pleased with the flight performance. - Will
FMS Zero would make a great addition to my FMS Corsair collection. If I could only fly them both at the same time! Great informative video and tips, thank you for your time/effort bringing these to us.
Thanks for the comments. Appreciate it.. - Will
As a new RC hobbyist, I value your videos especially as I learn how to manage throttle during landings. Your videos are very helpful, because you verbally call out your throttle. (Not many UA-camrs do this). This is wonderful for new pilots! Please keep the videos coming! With that said, I would love to win your FMSZERO
Appreciate the comments. It helps me continue to focus on what my channel is about.. Helping those newer pilots succeed in this hobby
Great job on the video, Will.
Thanks Earl.. Appreciate all the support.
I love the idea of your giveaways. Been a fan of FMS for a long time and would love the chance at this FMSZERO ! Thanks for the opportunity. Goodluck everyone.
Thanks Travis.. Good luck..
FMSZERO Third times a charm!!!- LOL Thanks for another great review. The F4U is my favorite of the more popular warbirds. They are usually tough models to fly but you make it look easy. Thanks again.
Thanks.. Good luck on the drawing...
Hey Rob.. Looks like third time is the charm.. You WON..!!! Send me an email and I'll email the FMS Codes for the Zero.. Congrats willsteffen@gmail.com
Corsair is the ultimate plane,my all time favorite, great flights.
I love the Corsair for sure.. Great looking plane with a wonderful history.
Very well done Will! Excellent, detailed review. Man I've flown at least 6 or 7 of those over the years for different people. Really good flying airplanes. A little under-powered for my taste, but still really good. Great flying brother!
Thanks Adam. Its a solid flyer for sure. Mine isn't as underpowered at some on RCG were mentioning. At least I don't think so. This does have a 540KV motor. I think the motor upgrade may have helped.. Not sure if the prop was upgraded in this V3 either.. Regardless, she's a good flying plane..
Great review. I have the 1400 FMSZERO and P51, both fly great.
I'd like to get my hands on the P51 for sure...
FMSZERO, great review! Great flight. Watching flying videos just makes me ready to go flying 😂
Thanks.. Appreciate you watching.. - Will
Great flights and review. Thanks for the 1400 vs. 1700 comparison. FMSZERO
Glad you liked it.. Both good planes, but different... I think the 1700 is just a little cooler, due to size and scale features.
Nice review, as always. That Corsair needs an FMSZERO to chase around the sky.. 🤠
Totally agree...
I would love that 1400mm Corsair, or the FMSZERO!!
Thank you!!!
Good luck...
FMSZERO On a sweet flying Corsair review. Awesome!
Thanks.. Appreciate the comments.
I have the 800mm baby brother and believe it or not, she flies good too! And for try number three FMSZERO! LOL! Thanks as always for the great content Will!
Hope you win Roland... Good luck
Cool plane!
Thanks Ross, you should fly it.. Now that you have the skills....
Corsair is such a beautiful plane and a heartbreaker as well. Heartbreaker because I have to tell every friend that wants to start learning how to fly, NO!...no you will NOT fly this plane as your learner! FMSZERO would look good on my wall =).
I hear you.. The good news, if the new pilot continues to hone their skills, this Corsair is in reach.. Its a pretty gentle flyer. Maybe a 1st warbird, but not a first or second plane...
Love the detailed video! Looks great in the air, you make it look so easy!! I have been bit by the bug!!! I can watch these video's all day but I think it's time I give this a try!! FMSZERO
Its a great hobby.. Check out my LEARN TO FLY RC PLANE 5 part series.. It might help you get rolling... Good luck.
Love the older fms stuff I have had that one b4 great flyer forsure
Thanks for the comment. Appreciate you watching.
Great video review on this plane from assembly to maiden! Keep up the great work that you put into your channel! FMSZERO
Thanks for the comment. Really appreciate it.. Good luck on the drawing.
Great Video and review we need to see the FMSZERO up with the Corsair at the same time good Job 😊👍👍👍
Thanks Frank.. Appreciate the support. Good luck with the drawing.
Great review and awesome flights. I currently have a Corsair from a different cheaper manufacturer. It flies great but cheap parts don't last. I am looking at adding this one or the 1700mm to my hanger soon. Really would like to an FMSZERO in my hanger.
I've been pretty pleased with the FMS planes. They are all pretty darn good flying models... Can't go wrong with either..
What a great video! Thank you very much for all your content, I really enjoy it. Speaking of enjoying it I sure would enjoy the heck out of an FMSZERO.
Thank you very much! Good luck..
Nice job detailing some of the little things you did to get her ready for flight. Good, smooth flying. Interesting that the weight to power ratio seems to be better on this 1400 version. ( I wonder how this compares to your new P-47 ? )
I think the Corsair is one of the best handling RC war birds. One of my oldest models is the little Durafly 1100 mm Corsair. (It looks just like your 1400 Corsair.) I enjoy it a lot - but it seems that a windy day gives it fits a bit more than some others. It isn't as stable as a bigger plane, but on a calm day it is nice. ( One of my old faithfuls - I have logged 1,339 flights on her. ) The FMSZERO would be a good adversary for my little Corsair.
This is a pretty solid performer, but I think the P-47 is a little better flyer.. The P-47 have better scale bits too.. Also the retracts are a bit of an upgrade too... (Oleo struts...).
Another great video !! Would love the FMSZERO !
Appreciate the comments. Good luck in the drawing
Love my eflite 1.2 corsair but got my eyes set on that 1700 by fms. But this 1400 is a good looking bird too. Enjoyed the video🙌🙌
FMSZERO
The big 1700 is awesome and looks amazing. While the 1400 flight performance is better than the 1700. The Eflite 1.2s are crazy power on 4S.. I've really loved all my 1.2's.... Good luck with the drawing.
FMS Zero.fms Zero. Enjoyed this video. I liked the unboxing…
Lane, Sorry that drawing was a while ago.. Appreciate you watching though....
FMSZERO I'm just getting into rc planes and you're videos are pretty interesting, I'll do Mt best to keep up with your posts
Thanks.. Its a crazy great hobby for sure.. Lots to learn and it will take some dedicated practice to get it all. Start with the basics on circuits and landings.. Then move to the next skill, and so on... Good luck. - Will
Another very interesting and informative video. Thank you. FMSZERO
Thanks.. Appreciate the comments.. - Will
You only say weird things like that because you are more focused and concentrating much more on flying. Thank You for the great video. Excellent job. Alright Fly Safely and Enjoy. Video is done well, would like to see so more on the building part to see what was your struggling with assembly and how you figured out what weights you needed and how much as well as position they should go in. How much foam was cut away also? What weight ball where you told is up front? Sorry I miss a lot of videos. Did not get to see the FMSZERO plane put together and flight.
Thanks for the comments... The building part was pretty simple as per the manual. I review in detail the parts that were an issue.. I added the weight in the tail to get the Center of Gravity around 95mm from the leading edge. Without that weight, it would've been nose heavy. I didn't find the weight in the front. The FMS Zero video was posted a few weeks ago.. You should watch it.. Thanks Will
FMSZERO THiS PLANE IS AMAZING TOO I NEVER FLOWN A PLANE WITH RETRACTABLE GEARS BEFORE LOL
FMSZERO - Love the videos Will! UA-cam Star all the way.
Ha.. Flattery won't help you win.. But, I appreciate it... You need some planes for the boys.. They'd love this hobby...
Honest well presented review. Your channel is going to grow fast with this type of content. Your instructional videos are very helpful for people looking to learn how to fly. Thank you again. FMSZERO
Really appreciate the comments. It helps me know I'm on the right track with the purpose of this channel.. Thanks - Will
You definitely are.
I am just getting back into the hobby after 25 years of only flying two and three channel sailplanes and slope soaring gliders. The only power plane I had was a Zagi flying wing. I’m learning how to land and take off in a whole new light. I have found your videos and others very useful. You seem like a natural behind the lens.
Great review, wonder how it compares to the E Flight 1.2 corsair which is also a great flier along with their P-47. FMSZERO
I don't have the 1.2 Corsair, but I have the P-51 and the P47 from Eflite.. On 4S, those planes are crazy powerful. This 1400mm Corsair isn't unlimited vert. But it does have plenty of power.. I think the FMS 1.5M P-47 has a little more power and speed.
I am waiting for newer version if any, can’t stand the older designs , Prefer the new interlocking mechanism, and still checking the Flightline version. But wanted to know if this model is adequately powered? Thanks
I found this plane had ample power.. I do a few big loops and verticals in the video.. Is it the same power/weight ratio as an Eflite 1.2 on 4S, doing unlimited vertical, NO.. But I think the power is very good..
I'd like to be lucky enough to win one of those FMSZERO s one day!
Good luck on the drawing...
Thanks for all the great information!!! FMSZERO
Thanks for watching.
Thank you for the video review. I like the fact you fly the plane nice and slow at times which gave it a very scale look. How does this plane compare to the 800mm size? My first rc plane is the Volantex F4U 400mm and my second plane is the eachine Zero 400mm. I can’t wait to graduate to a larger plane like this one. Also thank you for the fmszero giveaway as usual.
Thanks for your comments. This 1400mm plane is much easier to fly than the 800mm series. You'll find that bigger planes usually fly better and are easier to see and control. Thoese little 400mm are much more exciting than the larger planes for sure.. Good luck.
FMSZERO would be my first FMS plane.
Good luck on the drawing
Thanks
Great video Sir (as always).. quick question. Did you ever find those mystery lead weight slugs in the front of the plane? Happy flying!
Can’t wait for your next guide-n-fly videos
FMSZERO
I haven't found the weights.. I need to remove the cowl and fish around for them with a pin or probe of some sort.. Regardless, she flies great with the extra weight..
@@SteffenRC sounds good.. if you have those magnetic parts trays (I use like 3 of them depending on active projects), you can pass one all around the front and should feel a tug when you locate them.
@@bigrickRC1144 I’ve tried magnets without success. They may be zinc.
@@SteffenRC Bummer.. well the only way to find zinc is to put a flame to it.. so until the 1400 is ready for a Viking funeral.. 😂 you’ll be happy as she is.. which it sounds like you are. Enjoy her.. I’m still enamored with the 1700 scale size.. they look sooo majestic in the air and people ALWAYS pause and watch whenever I fly mine.
@@bigrickRC1144 I'll poke around to see if I hit it.. On RCG someone said it's on either side of the battery compartment. So, I'll start there.. I'm with you.. The 1700 just looks outstanding in the air.. A real crowd pleaser...
I own the big brother to the FMSZERO that you are giving away, so it will feel right at home if I win 😁
For sure it will.... Good luck
We are poor little lambs, who have lost their way.
Baa Baa Baaaa
FMSZERO
I grew up on that TV show.... Love it...
I want the FMSZERO !
Good luck
I still want to win the FMSZERO!😃
Maybe this time.. Good Luck..
Great video, but I just don't care for all these post WWII Corsair offerings (1947 red bars). To each his own I suppose. They should come with no decals applied, and an optional set of decals for a WWII version. I prefer to apply my own decals. I will need to go to Flightline since FMS and Eflite have both forsaken WWII Corsairs.
Paul, not sure why most of them are post WWII.. I'm not as much of a super scale modeler.. I only have the FMS Corsairs.. Good luck with your quest for the WWII version..
I THINK THAT FMSZERO HAAHA
It bothers me that we 🇨🇦s are never allowed to enter contests.... Not even worth liking and following on youtube anymore.
So sorry you can't win the Zero.. I hope you still got something out of the Corsair review.. Next time, I'll see if FMS can ship to Canada... - Will
You got the freewing f18c? I’d be cool if you reviewed one :) gonna test my luck, I don’t honestly care but: FMSZERO here we go. Also, I got the arrows f4u Corsair. Flies really well too, just incinerated the gear on a landing though😅
I'd like a big F-18 for sure.. Maybe someday...
Thank you so much for the videos, love watching and learning from you. New pilot, about 3 months in, I am totally hooked, up to 5 RC planes now, would love a chance at the FMSZero you’re giving away. FMSZero give away, please add me!
Hey Rob.. Thanks for watching and really appreciate the comments. Unfortunately that drawing for the little Zero was last week. But, I'm sure FMS will give me some more planes to give away... Stay tuned.. - Will
Thank you Will, thank you for the time and effort you put into these videos! Rookie pilots like me REALLY appreciate you!
