Our families’ budgets have been quite shot (obviously) as we’ve had to gather so many supplies. I’m trusting the Lord heavily as we make our money from posting content (obviously can’t do that right now) and everyone in the home that has physical jobs won’t be able to work for quite some time as the town has literally been wiped out.

Greetings sisters, Last night, all night, I watched youtube videos of people that had traveled to your areas that were hit so hard and news videos, and rescue videos.. all I could do was cry and pray... I was speechless, thus crying, then praying for the helpers, workers, lineman, donators, rescue folks , victims and survivors of those lost.. I don't know what else to say.. when I finally stopped watching and went to bed at 9am this morning here in Virginia, I dreamed all day that my bestie and I traveled to help,, unfortunately we both are disabled and 63 yrs old.. All we can do is pray... If I had money, I would send it... my heart aches for you guys but even more for the ones that lost everything including their loved ones... The recovery seems impossible, But God is on the scene.. with prayers from all over the world of Spirit filled Christians, I know He will make a way. God bless you all. When and if life gets back to some kind of normal for you guys, I would love to visit and sit and talk to you and Sabrina, the fellowship would lift me up so much being in person with inspirational people like you 2. Hi, vet tech here. Take a towel and get it wet in the creek and wrap doggy tight. Keep the towel cold by changing it. This is like an ice pack. (An animal typically has a 101.7 temp.) You can give benedryl to them. Make it powder a TINY TINY TINY bit and put in wet feed or PB or take animal to water and pill it then put water in mouth to get the taste out. 1 mg per pound of body weight. Put Baking soda paste on the bite. You will need to put on glasses over glasses and look for stingers. If no benedryl then Chlortrimeton, diphenhydramine (this is Benedryl), cetirizene, clemastine, loratadine. The swelling might go down, so rewatch the very end of this vid for where the biggest swelling was to find the stinger. You can soak oatmeal overnight, squeeze the oats and keep the water of oatmeal in a container and spray or dab it. If that creek water is cold, I would take them go it. If anyone gives out canned goods, get pumpkin for runny stools at any time for them. I googled much of this do you wouldn't have to in a car while charging things. Praying.

You should look into getting a Simple Pump hand pump for your well. It can be installed at the same time as your electric pump for emergencies.

You need one of those little pumps with a long hose and a generator to get the water out and start that process of getting it dried out or the mold will destroy everything. I wish I had money I’d send it to you guys.

If I could, I would bring you a generator and supplies!! We're in SE GA. We still don't have power but we can get out and around town now. Our town is fully operational now. If I can possibly help in any way please let me know.
Poor dogs, so sorry that happened. Your next project needs to be getting the water out of the basement. Before toxic mold Destroys your whole house. Talk to your neighbors maybe someone somewhere close has some kinda pump to get it out. I know you don’t have electricity yet. But maybe theirs is a gas pump. Someone has to know how to get it out.
One thing I have learned is to have fans that take batteries, our electric here in WV goes out alot for some reason. I have gathered up small fans that take batteries over the years. Yeah the batteries ain’t gonna last forever. But they do great for the time being. Hoping you alll well wishes, prayers and good vibes. Keep strong!!!
That is how I would want to live as well. Ideally. There was a movie called, The Village, so kind of like that. Just be safe and protected would be key. I bet places like that will be that way after this event. But it does take a community.

If you have vanilla mix some with water and spray it in your skin. Mosquitoes hate the vanilla.

After your u get back on your feet and back to normal, please teach me how to survive a hurricane and live without electricity. I have to learn how to grow hydroponic vegetables, dry out fresh cut wood, and I already know how to make a fire and boil water for my French press coffee😁
They taught us in vet tech school (in the Army) to look at the board. Our instructor wrote DOG on the board and turned out the lights. He said what did he just write spell backwards. And that every animal coming into the clinic was as if you were treating the medical needs of God or Gods pet or Gods creation or something to that effect. That was out first lesson. This was in 1988 at Walter Reed Army Animal Institute of Research. We started out with 32 students and graduated 15. The math was hard and doing the surgeries with all the gore got the other half. Someone in your crew will have to learn emergency animal medicine but you probably already have that covered with all the animals. I am a new sub. If i was there, I would get a waterhose and car vaccuum to suck some air frm the hose and get that water out. 😅 But I have never even been in a basement before. I live in the south. I saw my dad do that on something on our farm and ut worked BUT the hose has to go down, not up, I think.
