I feel like electric bullets should connect together and damage enemies who walk into that line, and maybe even have it so the electricity could chain to multiple enemies if it hits one directly similar to the ukulele from ror2
Dice gun that only spins one of the slots, after you fire the dice and depending on which dice faces up ( or you can just have numbers and not need to correlate the sides with the projectiles) you would have to change one of the slots since this is the gun, maybe make it apply status effects like stun, poison, burn, knock back etc. The dices projectile element will depend (if you want) with the side that faces up
Cool to see I wasn't the only one to come up with the idea of a gun with slots on it, though my idea was for a fighting game character and not a whole ass game. As a suggestion, I feel like having a secondary weapon the player is in more control of would be a great complement to this core idea. Maybe a die grenade where the face showing determines the power, or playing cards you shuffle through that apply buffs or debuffs? Maybe these could be some of a selection of secondaries the player could choose from in a run? Also you could design some awesome looking enemies based on casino/gambling stuff. There's already so much you could play with from just this core concept, and I absolutely cannot wait to see more!
You could add a slot nife with a lever on the handle when you pull it it changes to a new type for example a sword with a fire effect that pushes enemies in a certain blast radius

you gotta make projectiles come out of the right side, spawning them at the center looks weird
