    Loved this! Reminds me of the beautiful ryokan I stayed at in Fujikawaguchiko. I would love to visit the shima onsen area one day. Your videos have been so uplifting during this pandemic. Thank you Natasha!

      @@thisNatasha It was so beautiful there especially the bike ride around the lake, and the views of mount fuji from the ryokan. At kawaguchiko station they serve delicious om-rice w kaarage croquet

    Yay my favorite j-vlogger is here again! That Riokan is so cute and looks so peacefully, I didn’t know about that place and is relatively close to Tokyo. Tuna Mayo onigiri is my fav snack in Japan 😋

    If I ever make it to Japan my plans include the kenruken gardens in Kanazawa, some of the smaller places like tsomago (spelling?) where you can hike, the Japanese alps and the Komano kodo hike (or at least a holiday friendly excerpt) would be a dream. Like the idea of the more nature based side of japan as breathers between the big cities. Just need to figure out how to properly connect the whole trip. Really enjoyed seeing you being in these areas that are more interesting to me

    Japan is mostly a country of mountains, forests, lakes , rivers, etc. When I told that to a foreigner who has been living in Tokyo for over a year the other day, he thought I was kidding!

    • @thisNatasha
      @thisNatasha  4 роки тому

    Are the onsens cleaned or drained before you go in? Would they do different things during these times of covid or just close them?

    • @thisNatasha
      @thisNatasha  4 роки тому +1

      They're cleaned every day and the water is filtered like a swimming pool. People wash before going into the onsen too, so it should be safe, but I would probably be cautious about going right about now!

    Haha what is it with you and pronouncing names of places wrong? :) (remember the whole DisneySea Little Mermaid Area? :p what is it called again? cause I have forgotten...)
    I am still in awe of those hot drinks in the vending machines. HOW DOES THAT WORK? :) And how do hot drinks in plastic bottles stay hot and don't melt the bottle? And who on earth puts hot drinks in a can?! :p So many questions... I'm confused. :p
    That blue water is gooooorgeous! And the snow, aaawww I love a forest/nature in the snow(as long as I don't have to drive through it :p).
    You'd think those Onsens and Ryokans would be busy during winter, because of the hot baths and such... That tub looked amazing! And again... seeing so much stuff I have seen in my Animal Crossing game which I had no clue as to what it was, but now I know... :p a hot pot and a rice cooker basically :p And that first private Onsen you went in, got that one too in my game :p Clearly a Japanese game haha :p

    • @thisNatasha
      @thisNatasha  4 роки тому +1

      Oh yeah there are so many Japanese things in Animal Crossing! Kinda obvious but I never think about it really. I remember I used to play this game with Yoshi and Mario and Yoshi would always eat these fruits and I had no idea what they were, turns out it was a fruit we don't have in Europe!!! The hot drinks in the vending machine are like ... "hot enough". They won't melt the plastic because they're not quite that hot. I like the plastic ones but not the cans, I always think it makes the drink taste a bit metallic!!!

    • @Liezjeuh
      @Liezjeuh 4 роки тому

      @@thisNatasha I know NOTHING about games so it's funny to me to see all these japanese things in the game and in your vlogs :) See, Animal Crossing is making me smarter! haha :p
      Aaah ok, I see. more 'warm' than 'hot' then...Urgh yeah I can imagine the cans would taste a bit icky... but it is a cool idea though.
