  • What Is The Apple Vision Pro? Why The Apple Vision Pro Will Fail. What is the Apple Vision Pro? Why is Apple Vision Pro so expensive? What is the point of apple vision pro? Is apple vision pro better than meta quest pro?
In this apple vision pro review, we highlight the concerns and limitations of the apple vision pro device. The apple vision pro demo has highlighted some key problems that we've addressed which could lead to the apple vision pro failure.
Apple Vision Pro is here, redefining our relationship with technology. It's not just a headset; it's a spatial computer, seamlessly blending the digital and physical worlds. Imagine watching a movie where the actors appear life-size right in front of you, or collaborating on a project with colleagues from across the globe, feeling like you're all in the same room.
Apple Vision Pro achieves this magic through cutting-edge hardware and software. Two ultra-high-resolution displays deliver stunning visuals, while the R1 chip ensures lag-free performance. Advanced eye tracking and hand gestures let you interact with the world naturally, while Personalized Spatial Audio makes it sound like every whisper and bang comes from its rightful place.
But Apple Vision Pro is more than just immersive. It's personal. FaceTime calls transform into life-size holograms, and your memories come alive in 3D spatial photos and videos. You can even take a virtual walk through your favorite vacation spot, feeling the sun on your skin and the sand between your toes.
Apple Vision Pro is a glimpse into the future, where technology disappears and only the possibilities remain. It's a tool for creativity, connection, and exploration, waiting to be unleashed.
While Apple Vision Pro promises a dazzling foray into the future of mixed reality, it's not without its flaws. Here's a look at some of its limitations that temper the excitement:
    1. High Price and Niche Appeal: At a hefty $3,499 price tag, the Vision Pro is far from readily accessible. This, coupled with its focus on productivity and niche apps, makes it more geared towards professionals and early adopters, not mainstream consumers.
    2. Confined Play Area: Despite boasting room-scale tracking, the Vision Pro's play area is surprisingly limited to just 10ft x 10ft. This significantly curbs movement during VR experiences, hindering applications like fitness and action gaming.
    3. Short Battery Life: With only two hours of unplugged usage, the Vision Pro falls short of competitors and hampers sustained use without relying on a tethered connection. Long stretches of immersion or work sessions quickly become tethered affairs.
    4. Limited App Ecosystem: Apple's nascent SpatialOS platform suffers from a lack of established apps compared to more mature VR ecosystems. This dearth of content can quickly leave users wanting more to experience.
    5. Isolation and Sensory Disconnect: The Vision Pro's complete sensory immersion, while impressive, can be isolating. Missing physical interactions and environmental awareness can limit its applicability for extended use in social or collaborative settings.
    6. Uncertain Hardware Longevity: As a first-generation device, the Vision Pro's long-term hardware performance and potential wear and tear are unknown. Durability and potential repair costs are questions yet to be answered.
    7. Ethical Concerns and Data Privacy: Apple's extensive eye-tracking and hand gesture capture raise concerns about data privacy and potential misuse. Transparent policies and user control are crucial to address these concerns.
    In Conclusion:
The Apple Vision Pro undoubtedly pushes the boundaries of mixed reality, but its limitations are crucial to consider. While its potential for creative professionals and early adopters is undeniable, its high price, restricted experiences, and lingering questions about user experience and data privacy mean it's not yet ready for mass adoption. Only time will tell whether Apple can overcome these limitations and truly usher in a new era of immersive computing.

At $3500 (Entry level), we think the Apple Vision Pro is crazy expensive, makes other apple products redundant and will fail. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I’m a VR enthusiast that’s been using this technology for 7 years and I agree with this whole video. Games and metaverse apps like VRChat are amazing, but it kind of ends there. Nothing Apple is doing is a logical or practical use for the technology and we already know this from trial and error.

3D TV failed as people didn't want to wear a pair of glasses. That was a lot less obtrusive than this.

True, but a VR headset gives you a massive screen that covers your whole room wherever you are and it also works outside. But yes, the downside is that you have a toaster strapped to your face and you are completely isolated

People tend to follow the path of least resistance, and picking up a smart phone to check messages, flipping open a laptop to type documents and picking up a remote to watch TV is clearly much more convenient than putting on a pair of Heavy, hot ,sweaty, eye staining,, isolating goggles. not to mention the fact you are substituting infinite K reality for a vastly inferior 4K version of it, Reality will always be greater than Virtual "reality".

I guess AVP just a cornerstone. There is no right time to publish this thing, if you want developers to take the next step. As a device itself there is no real use case. Reasonably you see people on Laptops and Smartphones on a day to day basis for so long: tools that relate to real life. This thing relates to nothing (yet) no matter how well designed it is. It doesn't solve a real problem (yet). The only reasonable use cases for this thing in my opinion is for educational purpose or learning (like deep dives into microlevels of the human body in 3D or the Universe or how stuff is build and so on) Other than that it's just a weird not at all cool device, that's just well marketed

Honestly, who knows if it's gonna be a hit or a total miss? Apple's definitely taking a leap here, kinda like when they decided to drop a phone without any buttons… everyone said they would fail like the CEO of Microsoft…

They’ll sell as many as they can make of this version. Supposedly 500,000 per year.
If you think apple spatial computers wont shrink in size and price over the next few years, and improve in functionality and software, you probably shouldn’t be making tech videos.

    • @HowItHappened

Whilst you hope it gets smaller/lighter/cheaper etc with technological advancement, Apple has a history of making their products larger and more expensive

@@HowItHappened they also have a history of making the iPhone SE, and the Apple Watch SE, and cheaper macs, and iPad minis and on and on.
Adjusted for inflation the original apple macintosh would be US$7000 today.
If you think that tech hasn’t improved and gotten cheaper over time, for what you get, you aren’t paying attention.
I do expect apple to keep charging the same amount or more for the Pro version of the Apple Vision Pro line, which will always be as high end as they can make it. But at the same time I expect them to produce a cheaper apple vision air or something. It will be the cost of, and will be an alternative to a laptop. Otherwise it could never get any kind of mass adoption.

Yes, just like the overpriced, clunky iPhone and the first Mac luggable laptop, it will fail as part of creating an entirely new Apple product line for decades to come. Totally get that most people should wait until version 2, but not developers or those who can justify V1.

It's going to be a hard sell for the average person. Who has 3500 euro sitting around to spend on a product that won't be using on a daily basis? Not to mention it has a 2 hour battery life only... I used to have a quest 2, and honestly you just get tired of it after a while, it's cool for a bit, but the fun wears off pretty soon. Now a Quest 2 only cost me 300 dollars, imagine paying more than 10 times that for a device you will probably get tired of after 3 months of use.
I know apple users tend to have more money than common sense, but even for them, this product will be a fair bit too expensive to just experiment with.

It will not fail … but it is going for the years to come as a supplemental tool , not a replacement, even when it will be mature : light, discret… etc, we will need other ways to interact with computing… Experience show us that few things replace, they add possibilities, replace some usage but very seldomly they can replace everything
