I think Prince would approve of Chris's version. Given the public spat he and Sinead had..... but.... perhaps it's a song, to NEVER SING.... since those that have sung it... are DEAD.
Prince wrote it, Sinead O'Connor made it into a huge hit.....but Chris Cornell's cover is perfect. He was an amazing singer- - incredible voice. So sad he's no longer with us...RIP Chris!!!
Chris Cornell R.I.P. was in the bands Soundgarden, Audioslave, and Temple of the Dog. I'd recommend the song Audioslave - Like a Stone (1.2 Billion views)
The acoustic versions of Like a stone have far less views but I've always prefer them, I think this song took a whole different turn when Chris made his solo stuff.
*Chris Cornell is one of the great ones that we unfortunately lost in 2017, the same year that we lost the lead singer of Linkin Park. They were both dealing with some things. Y'all should check out "Hunger Strike", by Temple of The Dog, which is Supergroup put together for one album that Eddie Vedder (of Pearl Jam) and Chris Cornell of Soundgarden sang together on. Chris Cornell was also in Audioslave, another supergroup, later on.*
If you love his voice you should check out his band Soundgarden. You'd love the song "Black Hole Sun". Personally I'd like to see you react to their song "Spoonman" tho.
As a rock and bluesy singer, Chris was just among the top vocalists ever. The power and range of his voice were second-to-none, and he was in a class by himself. If you dive further into his work, you will hear more and more amazing performances from my favorite rock singer ever.
I actually think Chris Cornell was the best singer in rock history. I saw him in concert twice (both times with Soundgarden), and he was amazing both times. For solo I recommend "Seasons", for Soundgarden "Rusty Cage" (or Johnny Cash's cover of it!), and for Audioslave, definitely "Like a Stone". Great reaction! 😀
Chris is probably my all time favourite vocalist...his voice is just stunning. I think you ladies would enjoy his cover of John Lennon's song, Imagine.
He also did one of the coveted James Bond theme songs "You Know My Name" and many other songs that were in movies. You would love the song "Sunshower" and "Seasons" from a couple movies. You will get many suggestions and they are all correct.
When you think your life is boring and dull, and you look at someone who seems to have it all and you find yourself hating them for it.... remember Chris Cornell. And have a little compassion. We're all in it together.
Kathy and Donna great job with your reaction and thoughts on this live performance of Nothing Compares To U done here from The late And Great Chris Cornell RIP and this song was also done by the late Sinead O'Connor RIP that was very good and you can't forget the original artist how wrote this incredible song Prince RIP to him also .
@@doommonger7784 I'm from the UK and Chris carnel is a better version Sinead O'Connor did it justice and this is my opinion not everyone will agree and I can respect that
@@doommonger7784 welp.Chris Cornell is probably has the greatest voice of all time, Prince is the greatest all around musician of all time. Sinead is/was neither. sorry mate, facts matter, facts
You guys are great!! I absolutely love your accents and the honesty in your reactions. This is one of the greatest covers of all time. I put it right up there with Hurt by Johnny Cash and Life On Mars by Aurora (2 great ones u should check out). Keep doing your thing ladies!! Peace
If you can do a reaction to Slaves and Bulldozers and Fell On Black Days the original album version from soundgarden..youll see just how an amazing voice Chris Cornell had..🙏😎
It’s really hard to believe that Prince, Sinead O’Connor and Chris Cornell are all gone. All of them left us too soon and gave us so much while they were here.
I have loved Chris Cornell since first hearing Soundgarden Badmotorfinger in 1991 when i was 16 and ye his voice was soo good and the control he had with little effort. In the late 90s even Sir Elton John said he was the voice of rock. And Chester and him toured together lots and were such good friends that He made Chester the godfather to his son Christopher and daughter Toni. AND Chester committed suicide on Chris's bday. Also if it wasnt for Chris Cornell there may never have been Pearl Jam because Eddie Veddar lived with Chris when they formed Temple of a Dog in 1990 and which later became pearl Jam without Chris as he was in Soundgarden. He has also wrote or collabed for Alice Cooper, Heart's Ann and Nancy Wilson, Slash, Screaming Tree's, Alice In Chains just to name a few. He was also really into charitable work with his ex wife Susan Silver (who was also manager for AIC, PJ and Soundgarden) and mother of his first daughter Lilly. He has some great acoustic stuff he did for Howard Stern show like John Lennons Imagine, Led Zepplins Thank You, Micheal Jackson Billie Jean BUT you can literally pick almost anything of his and be impressed. Such a loss when he committed suicide. hope he is at peace now. Anyways cool reaction cioa for now from Victoria BC Canada
You probably never would have heard the Prince version of this song. He recorded it but never released it on a major LP. The Sinead O’Connor version was huge though.
I like a lot your chanel music. Thanks so much. A sad storie behind this song interpreteaded by Sinead O'Connor. Pretty so hard and sad story. Rest in peace one of the best musicians ever Chris Cornell. Rest in peace my brother.
We all got our own tastes in music my own opinion is Sinead Oconners version gets my vote i would love you guys to give her version a try even if you dont react to it
He does a duet of this song with his daughter Toni. Recorded shortly before his death, it has since gained more power in the lyrics. ua-cam.com/video/6YB9M8aB6b8/v-deo.htmlsi=BcP22Vkl-YcNgWZF
Y’all want to hear another great band wonderful singer.?3 man band sounds like more highly suspects send me an angle is about the only song for the youngster
Cornell covered best version (my opinion).... thing that get's me... is the flappy saggy white T-shirt from the 1930's... WHERE the HELL can ANYONE find a white shirt of that poor fitting quality of ANY sort these days?
Prince written, Sinead O'Connor performed, Cornell covered....3 legends

You should definitely see his band Audioslave - Like a Stone. Something I think you'd all really enjoy!
Watching someone listen to and immediately fall in love with Chris Cornell's voice makes me happy n even emotional, his legacy lives on 🥲
Great reaction!! It’s awesome to see a genuine reaction to this amazing cover.
As a rock and bluesy singer, Chris was just among the top vocalists ever. The power and range of his voice were second-to-none, and he was in a class by himself. If you dive further into his work, you will hear more and more amazing performances from my favorite rock singer ever.
One of the greatest vocalist of all time!!
Definitely need to react to Chris with Audio Slave, Like a stone or Tell me how to live.
Cold Bitch and Birth Ritual are two excellent tracks that showcase his multi octave range. Magnificent.
Exactly
Not many songs or movies make me cry.😊

All of you ladies understand and appreciate great music.
If you want to hear him in his younger days when his vocal range was broader, listen to Outshined by Soundgarden or Hunger Strike by Temple of the Dog.
RIP Chris. You all have played Soundgarden before (Rusty Cage). That was Chris Cornell (lead singer).
When you think your life is boring and dull, and you look at someone who seems to have it all and you find yourself hating them for it.... remember Chris Cornell. And have a little compassion. We're all in it together.
Chris Cornell's song Seasons live. A must listen
Keep up the good work ladies!!!
Thank you! Will do!
How I miss Chris Cornell!✌🏻❤️

To get the full Chris Cornell experience, react to the official video of Soundgarden - Outshine. I will blow you away.
Like a stone, acoustic version, AOL sessions is by far the best version. Beautifully performed
Chris Cornell fronted a super group Audioslave. Their song Cochise is a literal banger! You won't be disappointed.

He also did a great cover of Billie Jean by Michael Jackson and Imagine by John Lennon as well. Definitely recommend both songs
Since Mama died I cry too much.
Besides, being an absolutely fantastic singer, Chris Cornell had the ability to make a cover sound like his own song. Maybe check out Sunshower
We all got our own tastes in music my own opinion is Sinead Oconners version gets my vote i would love you guys to give her version a try even if you dont react to it
If you like this you should react to his song When I'm down live it's very beautiful.
Hunger strike temple of the dog. It has Cornell and Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam.
Chris does an amazing cover of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean, and Guns ‘n Roses Patience❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Please react to Like a stone by audioslave (one of Chris's bands). And Black hole sun by soundgarden (anther band of his). RIP Chris, we miss you

I’m 46,Gen X,and Chris was the best.

Definitely more Chris wouldnt offend anyone..."Like a Stone" and "Hungerstrike" comes to mind....RIP Chris
Can you react to the music video creeping in my soul by cryoshell?
Would like to see Jeff Buckley "Lover, you should've come over" reaction. :)
Please react to his band temple of the dog - hunger strike
Hey LuLu
Hey 👋
If you wanted to react to another great cover of his look up his cover of Billie Jean by Michael Jackson it’s insanely good
So much dead people in this song.....-great song!🤗
This song is cursed.
They both died too young. Love this version but Sinead's is good too. Sinbad died July 26th of 2023. Chris died in 2017.
Ño one can compare
No more than a try, but on
Sinéad O’Connor never comes close to that
Do yourself a favor, STAT. Get educated on Prince. there are VERY few artists who could do what he did,
Y’all want to hear another great band wonderful singer.?3 man band sounds like more highly suspects send me an angle is about the only song for the youngster
