@@deadpanfish, I am fairly confident he was just giving Ol Paul a salute is all buddy, we can all assume them local boys are pretty tuned into their game, I'm sure, LOL!
The Amazon River series from this year and last are my favorite on the channel. Paul seems like the sweetest guy, the kind of guy you just want to sit around and drink a beer with.
You know I’m sitting here watching this awesome video spencer and it’s amazing how far you have come I remember watching you with just you kayak and doing bank fishing now you are a guide and have a awesome boat and you have been to the Amazon twice and Spain 🇪🇸 I so grateful to have watched your journey in full filling your dreams congratulations you deserve it!!! The GOAT of UA-cam
You're too kind man. I'm pretty dang fortunate to say the least. Once it warms up I plan on doing a lot more kayak fishing. The river conditions weren't great for it this last year, but hopefully this year is a different story. Thanks for all the support dude!
Over the years watching your fishing videos I can probably say WOW !! They don't always comment on your videos now and again I'll just leave an emoji or something to help the algorithm but this video was awesome. You made me wish I was there with you Spencer. You are LIVING the life I've always DREAMED of
Another Fine River Certified Production Man,an amazonian flattie... Dude, your doing the damn thing man.. Sooo glad for your growth, while never leaving your beginnings....
I bought some of the BFBC starters from your links. I absolutely love them. I got the tin, striker thingy, little bag. Awesome for camping for sure. Thanks Spencer
Maan, this video was so Awsome, I was disappointed when I saw there was only two more minutes when I was 26 minutes in, and don't thank us for watchin!!! We all need to be thanking you and your guide Paul, for all this phenomenal content!!! 🤣😂🤣 I love it buddy, can't wait to see the the afternoon/ evening catfish bite from that day!!!!!
I like that foldable orange live well bucket you put the little catfish in. Where do I buy one of those? The engel live well gets heavy carrying around at times
Don't Paul know you're always hungry? That bass woulda scared me too. We've smoked channel cats in a similar way da was good too. Great vid and keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 💪😎🙏
Bro if u had alot of time in guyana.......you could of try to catch some 60lb sea catfish....they fight awesome,an their is a very rare catfish in guyana that the locals call (gilbaka)its very expensive an they grow well over a 100lb......you should try catching those next......
The Bacuda reminds me of when my Grandpa had a 43 1/2 inch Musky on his line. It litarally jumped at least 6 feet in the air before we even knew it was on the line.
Watching your videos makes me want to go on next year's Guyana trip so badly! How does the pacu taste rank next to the other fish you've eaten there, and to walleye, crappie, and gar?
Famous last words bait fishing… don’t think it’s a piranha….special catfish species caught immediately whilst pacu cooking - classic Spencer so jealous of your adventures 😊. Keep having great catches
let me teach you a trick I learned 50yrs ago when I was hunting deep in a snow covered forest. I knew the risk of getting hurt stepping over all the nurse logs or getting lost. I always carried a survival kit to start fires and have food and water. I would buy a large jar of Vasoline petrolium jelly and a bag of cotton balls. I would coat the cotton balls with the Vasoline and mush it well into the cotton ball. I put 20 to 30 into a zip lock bag. They were the best thing I had in my backpack. Each cotton ball would burn for about 5 minutes, long enough to dry the leaves and sticks I was going to use for the fire. They were very easy to light with farmer matches (which I kept in a water proof 35mm film can. Give them a try.
Spencer, is it a local rule that your guide has to unhook all of your fish down there? Or is it that you just don't want to handle the toothy ones? Looks like you had a ball. Good on you, brother! 👍🏼
The first time I tried to grab my own fish, they kind of shewed me away haha. After that I generally just let them handle most of them. We had a blast man. Thanks for watching!
Man Paul is the goat. Hes probably one of the best guides in the amazon.
How many Amazon guides you know? Don't doubt Paul is elite, but you make it sound like you've met them all. DragonBob lol

I've been called the GOAT on many occasions from many different people, but that's cause I eat damn near everything, LOL!!
@@deadpanfish I just know what I've seen on youtube. Between Spencer's previous trips and Ty's videos, Paul seems to be the best guide in that outfit.
You are literally going on and doing my bucketlist fishing trips you and I have the same taste in fishing!!! Keep em coming!!!
Hell yeah man. Hope you get to do em!
Telegram me ? It’s a scam. Why they keep doing this ???

That fish that hit at the bank jump scared the heck outta me 😄
Awesome video bro bro
Epic that fish looked bangin
I'm already amped up for next year.
Thank you for making a fishing video that you spend the majority of it actually fishing. Rare these days.

Wish I knew you 10 years ago. Had the family at Disney for 13 days. 2 days of fishing and it was horrible...
What an awesome video! Everything is gnarly, even the bait catching! Lol
Really loving the Amazon brother
Glad you enjoy it man
It looks like SOOO much fun! My idea of heaven is spinning off those Amazonian rock bars. One day!!
Thanks for another awesome vid.

Brilliant, never seen any of them catfish before.
Watching your videos makes me want to go on next year's Guyana trip so badly! How does the pacu taste rank next to the other fish you've eaten there, and to walleye, crappie, and gar?
I'd say the only thing in the midwest that's comparable is gar. They're both excellent but the pacu is definitely better.
Paul is a badass.
8:00 that’s why I’m scared when I wader fish for pike. They be eating it and jumping at your level a foot away and it scares me haha
i love the traveling videos man !!
Looks like you are using a yellow Blue fox spinner? Am I correct? A simple bait but good results. What country you guys fishing in?
Great episode.
Well Now, I wanna go fishing with Paul!
Another GREAT VIDEO! Well done as always.
So are the smaller lures like that spinner more productive than mid size?
And have you thrown any big glide baits or poppers?
Famous last words bait fishing… don’t think it’s a piranha….special catfish species caught immediately whilst pacu cooking - classic Spencer so jealous of your adventures 😊. Keep having great catches
Great video
Amazing video. Coming back to Iowa to fish would seen kinda boring after a trip like that. Not to be negative but my gosh where do you go from here?!
Fish that jump are cool!
Wonder what a big inline musky spinner would do out there man
Awesome video. What is your all time favorite catfish reel to use?
Spencer, what is the spinning reel you were using?
Where can I get info on this trip Spencer? This is now on my bucket list!
The first 3 seconds made me jump too. Thought I was ready for it.
😆😆😆
Hey Spencer i'm speechless! The best fishing trip ever! The variety of species is amazing! Where is that place? What is the name of the hotel?
Miss the flat heads but this off season stuff is awesome.
That "Master Paul" thing made me laugh.
Excellent!
Love the video !!!!!
Hell yeah man!
What weight gear are you using spinning ?
That catfish bait you caught after that first peacock looked like it fought like a steelhead, rad 🤙
I've never caught a steelhead, but if they fight like that I definitely want to!
@@RiverCertified yeah, for like ten minutes on a chrome fifteen pounder 🤙
@@RiverCertified come to Oregon, they are insanely fun to catch 🙌

I used to do that, but they're messier and take up more room than the fire starters I use now. They definitely worked really well though.
Looked pretty awesome there
It's one heck of an experience man. Thanks for watching.
Those were some cool peacock bass
Looks fun nice work
Thanks Troy
Your opener scared me too. I jumped and scared my granddaughter.
That's great haha
Sweet catfish spencer
Thanks Oluva

So are we just going to ignore that fact that Spencer is wearing an ice fishing jacket in the middle of the Amazon located very close to the equator?!
Its just a rain jacket. Although I do get cold pretty easy.
