Love Col. Potter. Cool little ride. I worked at a Chevy dealer back in the day. I had to teach a girl to drive stick on one of these as a stick shift 2wd. Tracker is what she could get financing on. We used an unused road behind the dealership…back and forth for about 1/2 an hour. Not an easy car to learn stick on. She got it eventually though and went lurching into traffic in her new car
My very first vehicle was a neon pink 1994 geo tracker 4x4 with an automatic. Let’s just say that as a 16yr high school boy, it didn’t help my image… but that rig never let me down!
@ oh 100%! It’s funny what 20 years of maturing will do to you because I would have 0 shame driving it today. Sadly, the person I sold it to totaled it shortly after they got it and it went to the big scrapyard in the sky.
I rember M.A.S.H would watch it with my dad back in the day and love self tappers my dad showed me about them on my 1966 jeep wagoner I pulled out my uncles farm and still used them on my old 1997 GMC truck that I still have.Great videos keep them coming.
Love the decals!! 😂 i definitely remember M.A.S.H. With the green it really makes it look like a real Jeep. Very cool! Thanks for sharing! Sandy has to be the cutest dog I've ever seen! 😃🐶
Love the vid, keep up the good work. Pam did a great job with the graphics! Not a big Ford fan, but sure as hell looking forward to you working on the Cougar. Blessings to y'all.
I had a hardtop. Best little truck I've ever had. Sold it to a buddy who still drives it around. I could tell you a hundred adventures I had in that little thing. We used to say "95 horses of Geo FURY!" When we took off.
I actually learned stick shit in an old fit truck with three on the tree and then my grandfather bought a Geo tracker for all the grandkids to learn normal manual transmission use. So this brought back some fun memories of running around the back 40 with grandpaw.
I believe I heard on one of Dalton's episodes that your shop turns over used police cars. If that is the case, it might be interesting what you have to do to make them ready for the general public to buy. Newer cars that have many hours on them must have unique problems.
It all depends on which government agency I get them from. Some come pretty "gutted" and others don't need anything. The hours don't mean squat as long as they have regular maintenance. That has been a huge misunderstood subject.
Pregnant roller skates always give me a flashback my friend had a Vitara 4x4 6disc changer and that lil booger would almost never get stuck in the snow
Having the hood release in the glove box was a theft deterrent since you could lock it. I had an 03 Vitara & it was the same way. That was a blast to drive
that car is worth more in stories and experience than side by side for sure! I got a 92 chevy sprint(geo metro) 1L 5 speed manual and even with a blown head gasket and almost compression the damn thing still runs and drives like its nobody's buisness. im def gonna take a page of the dalton/jim's floor repair books to fix some of the rust on it.
That Tracker had an advanced stage of the corn state cancer in places but there are a lot of cars in worse condition that are on the road. I did like the use of the nearly vintage Nebraska and Iowa floor pans. I don't think they've made county 1 Nebraska plates in 20 years
I specifically like to use the older plates as they are a bit heftier and not so flimsy because the have the actual stamped numbers and letters which give them rigidity.
MASH4077th never forget. I watch the show again and again over here in Germany.
Its still on tv since the beginning of the early 80's.
It was my dad's favorite show back in the day!

You really made a difference in that gal's life!
I watched mash with my grandparents ever night that looks amazing
I watched with my dad too!

Yeah, but you'd rock that unit today if you had it!

Love M.A.S.H.
My wife is big into using that Cricket. She does some amazing stuff with it.
They are pretty cool!

That's a great story and those self tappers came in handy!
Love the decals!! 😂 i definitely remember M.A.S.H. With the green it really makes it look like a real Jeep. Very cool! Thanks for sharing! Sandy has to be the cutest dog I've ever seen! 😃🐶
Sandy appreciates your kind words, too!
Dalton is probably missing All of his self tappers 😮😅😅😂😂
Trust me, he has plenty! LOL!
Love the vid, keep up the good work. Pam did a great job with the graphics! Not a big Ford fan, but sure as hell looking forward to you working on the Cougar. Blessings to y'all.
Thank you! Pam puts in a lot of effort to make it pop. You are going to love the Cougar!
Love the stickers one of my favorite shows
My dad watched it all the time when I was growing up!
I live in Yuma, Az🌵🌵the land of GEO Trackers and Suzuki Sidekicks. They are everywhere down here👍🏻🙂
I'll bet.... They don't rust down there!
Liked, shared and commented.🍻🗽🤴🏻 23:48
Awesome, Thank you! Appreciated.
Thanks for the shout out. I'll have to drive it out that way next spring for a show and tell. 😂
We would love to have you!
My wife won't let me wear gray sweatpants no matter how cold it gets outside! I had a Geo tracker. it was a fun little ride!
The grey ones are one of the "garage pair" that can get trashed.
I had a hardtop. Best little truck I've ever had. Sold it to a buddy who still drives it around.
I could tell you a hundred adventures I had in that little thing. We used to say "95 horses of Geo FURY!" When we took off.
They are a great little rig! I've had a lot of fun in mine.

You can climb trees with it!😅
I actually learned stick shit in an old fit truck with three on the tree and then my grandfather bought a Geo tracker for all the grandkids to learn normal manual transmission use. So this brought back some fun memories of running around the back 40 with grandpaw.
These old trackers are pretty tough little rigs!
@the-inevitable-jim loved it and hated it at the same time lol
The decals made it whole enjoy your content Jim looking forward to your next videos thank you
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the graphics.

Love col. Potter.....he makes a great side X side!
Yes, he absolutely does!
Side by sides kinda took the place of snowmobiles in Central NY. State snow has been scarce.
Hey small world, I live in CNY as well....yeah no real snow yet but expecting some tonight and tomorrow. Plenty of cold though lol
It's kinda happening in many areas.
Pregnant roller skates always give me a flashback my friend had a Vitara 4x4 6disc changer and that lil booger would almost never get stuck in the snow
He does awesome especially for just 2WD
@@the-inevitable-jim 😎🤘
Stickers are a nice touch. I can't wait for the next video.
You drive like Radar! Gary Burghoff
Get-R-Done... Comin' in HOT!
Great job had a sidekick same car different name loved it
Yeah, they're a lot of fun!
Having the hood release in the glove box was a theft deterrent since you could lock it. I had an 03 Vitara & it was the same way. That was a blast to drive
They are fun, aren't they?
Another fantastic episode Jim they do a lift kit for them it's just spacers under the springs rear and in the shock towers
With as rusty as it is, I don't want to push my luck, LOL!
Cool side by side. Like the name, used to watch MASH with my Grandpa before The Andy Griffith Show.

They're tough little buggers!
Jim great job keep it going
I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Thanks!

It's already in progress! BTW... it's a Cougar
Great video, and I am a certified M*A*S*H-a-holic so this is a win/win for me!
I LOVE MASH! Watched it every chance I could!
Well, you are in the right place, then! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video!
Thanks!
You got that floor repair kit at dalton's didn't you ?
Nah... I have a parts department the looks pretty similar... LOL!
If only car manufacturers would make more factory retro mod vehicles
YEAH!
Just an idea, would be pretty cool to see a picture are two at the end of videos of the rigs subscribers emailed you.
That is already in the works. You have to get permissions and all. I don't want to disrespect anyone.
Nice ride
Thanks 👍
Wish they still built these.
You and me both!
Try some contact adhesive on the valve cover let it tack up then put gasket in place let dry and install gasket works like a bomb
Thanks for the tip!

Also if that is Colonel Potter does that make your garage MASH 4077 and mean that you give the best care anywhere?
Absolutely! LOL!
I specifically like to use the older plates as they are a bit heftier and not so flimsy because the have the actual stamped numbers and letters which give them rigidity.
I’d rather have that than a side by side too!
Damn straight!
I know that show lol looks good
🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙👍
Thanks
When’s the dodge truck you did with pbg?
Update video on the 63 D-100 aka Duke is coming. Waiting on some parts that are a week or 2 out yet. I promise, it is coming!
That episode made me lol ! The funnel thing was classic
It would be more fun with a turbo charged Hayabusa engine
Oh I'm first first
Yes... yes you are sir!!
Thank You for being the very first member!
Oh shit. I'm the first member too? Keep up the good work. I hope to see the 79 cougar. My first car looked exactly like her.
We have started on the Cougar. Video should be out in about a week!
