In the late 80's I had a small construction company and was hired by R. S. to do repairs on his mother's house. He had a home built for her and the contractor did a terrible job, especially on the windows. At first, he was afraid we were going to do the same, but by the end of the job, he was ecstatic. On the last day, he showed up at lunchtime with his trunk full of iced beer & sodas. Shortly after that, a catering truck from Sonny's BBQ showed up with enough food for 50 people. (There were only 6 of us.) He hung out with us for more than an hour, signed autographs, and a great time was had by all. When he paid his bill he gave me a $100.00 tip. Pro wrestling is not exactly as "Fake" as some believe it to be. It is an event with choreographed moves and a pre-determined outcome but real injuries. Acting is fake, pro wrestling is a dangerous profession and many people have been seriously injured, paralyzed and even died from this "Fake" sport. None of the guys that were there and heard him, beleived him. Next day he showed up with photos that you could tell had been taken over some years. Dude said he had a lil detail tent on the side of a gas station in Sarasota and one day MACHO MAN went there and liked him and his work and the rest was history. Dude actually got kinda sad talking about his genuine kindness and him passing. FLY HIGH BROTHER!!! OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!
Savage blamed Hogan for his divorce with Elizabeth, but Elizabeth also was going behind his back for years. Elizabeth even had a secret boyfriend from a state in the upper midwest that Savage never knew about until after their divorce. RIP Randy Savage. ✊✊🙏
Drove right past the accident scene that day. I was visiting my dad who lived in Seminole, FL. Borrowed his moped to go to the beach. Passed the accident on the way. It wasn’t until later that night I saw the news.
One of my uncles (that is deceased now) owned a famous gym in Vegas. He said in real life Randy didn't act like that at all. He was pretty chill actually and very respectful. He did like his privacy however.
You Uncle saw a sight few ever got to see. Randy was in character as the Macho Man years whenever he walked outside... The only people who otherwise knew him out the persona were his family members. Randy was notoriously charitable and kind despite his macho man persona.
He used to live in my Hometown of Lexington, Ky when he worked for his Dad's Company, ICW (International Championship Wrestling) and he would steal steaks from Krogers on New Circle Road and the Police wouldn't do anything about it. From what I hear, he lived in a small Apartment in Lexington with no furniture, just a mattress and workout equipment and couldn't afford food because he wasn't making shit with ICW.
I just stopped by to see who’s life was not tragic. Really does any human being live a full life that is perfect. Bruce Lee said the key to immortality is not living forever, it’s living a life worth remembering. Very few will ever forget Randy.
Bruce Lee is a philosopher and the means to convey his philosophies is through kung-fu. He sees himself as a philosopher more than a martial artiste. He majors in philosophy during his university days.
The level of mistrust/paranoia he had & you think his life rocked? Sure, parts of it were awesome, but how he never trusted anyone around Elizabeth, that had to have done some serious harm to his mind & his gut.
the reason vince and randy had a falling out was there was a rumor he slept with his daughter(who would have been underage at that time). Stephine addressed this in the ring years later as a confessional of sorts around the time of his hall of fame induction. She denied it on all counts If I remember correctly.

@@MegaDaveNichols Lol, Hogan as #1 & Warrior as #2? Wow, I mean, it's your opinion, but there's SO much more to wrestling than drawing a crowd.
Hahahahahahhahhaa

What a legend of a man.... warts and all (like all of us). I'm glad he found peace before he passed on. R.I.P. Macho Man.
As far as the Macho man is concerned he should rank top 10 all time in my opinion.
To this day whenever I see a slim Jim at the store I’ll say out loud to my daughters “Step into a SlimJim! Oh yeah!”
Rest In Peace, Macho Man.
Lol me too, but last time I bought one vs a normal Canadian jerky stick thing… woof. Gross.
SNAP snap into a slim jim... Hmmm Mandela Effect?
Need a little excitement?
i do the same lol
but since i work at the store, it's almost daily
@@shawny2scrawny nice grease shot.
No one can take away that he was and still is one of the biggest most famous loved wrestlers of the WWF/E. He achieved immortality. RIP 🪦 brother.
You better tell Jake the Snake that he is dead coz he says hes still alive at 65.
i was gonna say ppl need to get their facts straight and yes Jake is still very much alive these jack off video makers talk bs and think ppl are gonna buy it
I think he meant the character jake the snake died
Cocaine is a helluva drug....and Roberts was or is a hell of a user.
I just commented same thing cause Jake The Snake talked about the snake bite on the Joe Rogan podcast!!
@@ericbannister1030 isn't joe rogan dr. Phil's son?
Never got into professional wrestling, but I appreciate what the performers put themselves through. The beatings that their bodies take. No wonder so many of them pass well before they should. Rest in peace, Randy.
I just wanna thank each and every one of em' for all they've done to their bodies... IT'S STILL REAL TO ME DAMN IT 😭!
i met him in Tampa at gas station back around 2007, he was very nice. I didnt ask for an autograph though.
...good move.
That's probably why you're here to tell the tale.
My experience with him was awesome. He was super cool, super chill. He sure didn't slam my head into anything.
That's good to hear you never know what kind of problems a person has inside their body go to beat him up is not a good idea and even if not especially a fan of his
I was a kid in thé eighties, Macho Man was the best interview I could ever watch, and certainly one of the best wrestlers as well. By far, very far, my all time favorite.
Best on the mic
He really was thé greatest of all time. His performance in thé interviews is unmatched, thé greatest showman.
All he was ever was was an entertainer, many people start out that way, dream crushed (baseball) then no giving up or losing that second career
Lol, he was way more than just an entertainer. He was probably the most meticulous worker the industry had ever seen, he made sure that him & his opponent(s) always knew how everything was going to work out in a match. That's why you never hear of Savage injuring another wrestler in the ring.
Absolute legend. Still can't believe he rapped. Also is just ME, or did he not start looking like Rush Limbaugh in his last years?
Yes i have his rap album and met him when he was promoting it.Nice guy.But it was funny to me for him to say hey meet my dj.He had a song about mr.perfect think it was called my perfect friend.
It’s you.
@@mannyfestoINS no, it is you
Other than his costumes for work, Randy never spent money on himself, it was always for others. He was extremely charitable. RIP Randy.
Sounds like the opposite of Hogan.
I think its more tragic that he couldnt conceieve children
Very, very good baseball player. When he got into wrestling he got on the juice.
You can see in old photos he was thin and barely 180 lbs.
Dude, if Savage punched me, then body slammed me at a red light, that'll be a shining moment in my life and MUCH better than an autograph!
2:52, after the snake bit him Savage was fine 2 weeks later the snake died
he was such a badass, snakes fear him.
“In a 2012 interview...”
He died in 2011.

To be honest, having the story that Macho Man punched you out then bodyslammed you in the street is far more badass than a scribbled autograph.
nobody could trash talk better than macho man....his interviews are legendary..
Macho Man was great, but Roddy Piper was the KING of trash talking.
Have u not heard of Roddy piper ?
I knew the Stephanie/Macho speculation would be in this video.
Did it really happen though? First time I’m hearing about it.
I used to work at a high end custom golf cart shop and I cant remember how but one day me and the detailer that worked were talking and the subject somehow got to wrestling and the guy says...I know MACHO MAN, detaled his vehicles and boats for years...
Where does Macho Man rank among your favorite wrestlers of all time?
Idk its for sure top 10
#1!
Oh yeah
number 1 cream of the crop
#1
Never knew he had baseball aspirations
We miss you Macho man, thanks for all the good times
There's a UK TV interview with randy and a bunch of kids. He seemed like a really nice person
Savage blamed Hogan for his divorce with Elizabeth, but Elizabeth also was going behind his back for years. Elizabeth even had a secret boyfriend from a state in the upper midwest that Savage never knew about until after their divorce. RIP Randy Savage. ✊✊🙏
I was her secret boyfriend
Macho Man was a real one period. The snakes and backbiters posing as friends is what did him in, brother.
My personal Favorite wrestler of all Time ... "OH YEAH " !!!
As an 80 kid he was an absolute legend!!
Loved him!!
Not a wrestling fan but he was for sure a performance artist-- and my favorite wrestler as a performer
Drove right past the accident scene that day. I was visiting my dad who lived in Seminole, FL. Borrowed his moped to go to the beach. Passed the accident on the way. It wasn’t until later that night I saw the news.
every time I watch Piper's Pit interview I LOL when Piper calls Savage "Gravel Gertie" and adonis "Humpy the Humpback Whale".... those were the days!
He did the best promos
He wasn’t the same after he and Miss Elizabeth broke up 😞
Randy was one of my childhood heroes 😊 Rest in heaven King!
"OH YEA, IM THE MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE!!"...I hope he knew his fans are diehards...he'll always be a legend in my world...
One of my uncles (that is deceased now) owned a famous gym in Vegas. He said in real life Randy didn't act like that at all. He was pretty chill actually and very respectful. He did like his privacy however.
Everyone enjoys their privacy
You Uncle saw a sight few ever got to see. Randy was in character as the Macho Man years whenever he walked outside... The only people who otherwise knew him out the persona were his family members. Randy was notoriously charitable and kind despite his macho man persona.
1.5 million subs, less than 800 views. the fuk?
Probably cos Looper did the same video about him last week!
Cause this stuff boring
He used to live in my Hometown of Lexington, Ky when he worked for his Dad's Company, ICW (International Championship Wrestling) and he would steal steaks from Krogers on New Circle Road and the Police wouldn't do anything about it. From what I hear, he lived in a small Apartment in Lexington with no furniture, just a mattress and workout equipment and couldn't afford food because he wasn't making shit with ICW.
Legend. RIP
R.i.p. macho man Randy Savage
Rip macho man. You made my childhood better.
Randy Savage now before he passed looks like santa claus
SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM!!!

He called out Hogan for a real match mono e mono for all the marbles and all the money will go to the Children's Hospital
@michael mendoza, how in DA FUQ can you have a last name like Mendoza and not know how to spell "mano a mano" (hand to hand), in Spanish???
I just stopped by to see who’s life was not tragic. Really does any human being live a full life that is perfect. Bruce Lee said the key to immortality is not living forever, it’s living a life worth remembering. Very few will ever forget Randy.
Did realize lee was so insightful. That’s just like him,P.
@@MisterMister5893 he wrote a lot of Tao. Very insightful
Bruce Lee is a philosopher and the means to convey his philosophies is through kung-fu. He sees himself as a philosopher more than a martial artiste. He majors in philosophy during his university days.

Nothing on his Rap album!!!!!??? Com on!!! It actually wasn't that bad!!! Lol!
Rest In Peace Randy and Elizabeth.❤
Would of loved to have this guy in my family, or neighbor. Yep; “the cream of the crop.”
Tragic life, my ass! This rocks 😆
The level of mistrust/paranoia he had & you think his life rocked? Sure, parts of it were awesome, but how he never trusted anyone around Elizabeth, that had to have done some serious harm to his mind & his gut.
Strangely he didn't sound like that during that sting documentary I saw the clip of
The Cream always rises to the top! RIP Macho Man
the reason vince and randy had a falling out was there was a rumor he slept with his daughter(who would have been underage at that time). Stephine addressed this in the ring years later as a confessional of sorts around the time of his hall of fame induction. She denied it on all counts If I remember correctly.
Because it was obvious crap.
Nobody saying anything about the back of the baseball card stating “dropping his elbow.”? Yeah I know it’s about his swing but still.
Was a fan made baseball card. Wasn't a real Topps card
