    OMG, this website and this video is going to save my thyroid. I was scheduled for surgery for a totally benign 5cm nodule this month and I totally cancelled it. I'm going to get a consultation for RFA as soon as possible. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

    Does Fine needle biopsy can cause the cancer spread? I am so afraid of doing the biopsy. Thank you for your valuable video. I feel so alone. 😪

      I can't say for sure since I'm not a doctor. But I have never heard of this happening.

    Is it possible to have a RFA done without biopsy?

    Can they do this in cancerous nodules too?

    • @ItsmeJenagain
      @ItsmeJenagain  3 роки тому +1

      In some cases, yes. It depends on a lot of variables, including the features of the nodule and the doctor.

    Can I ask? I got multiple 2nd opinions before scheduling (and then cancelling surgery)..... WHY Did none of the surgeons tell me about this alternative? Is it about money? What is the problem here?

      Some doctors still don't know. Others don't want to promote something they don't feel comfortable with (lack of education on the topic) or something they don't offer. Most patients need to seek out a provider who offers thermal ablation on your own.

      Also Dr Hands, you sound like an amazing dr. Wish you were closer to Michigan!

      Based on her remarks, I would say probably so. You could reach out to her and ask. Her contact links are in the description.

      @@ItsmeJenagain ok. Thanks. My RFA Dr says even though my levels are subclinical, my symptoms are under control with supplements, so I'm ok to proceed. I will reach out to Dr hands to see her thoughts, also. Thanks!

      I don't know specifically which dr she was speaking of. There are a few in Florida now. You can find their contact info here: itsmejenagain.com/known-rfa-and-pei-doctors-in-the-us/
