Thanks so much for the video. Do you think you would be able to use a sharpie to draw a straight line on the surface rather than use the laser? Thank you so much.
"Man, this thing is covered in cat hair....like does he have another place to hang out besides my damn birdieball?" Bahahahaha. Great comment of a pet owner.
Great review! New to your channel. Just subscribed. Can you tell us a bit more about your athletic background (sports you played, etc?). What are your goals for 2020 specifically? You might have already discussed these in other videos but I thought I would go ahead and message you to ask.
Thanks for watching and subscribing! I was in the process of doing a video for 2020 goals, what’s in the bag etc... I have a lot of stuff in the works. But for the sake of time... I’ll be competing in 2020. My goal would be to win a tournament. Hopefully 😂. No sports specific background but I did lots of track (mainly high jump). Definitely some transferable strength from having good legs muscles. I’ll have to get these thoughts out in a more well formed video.
Great review! Mine is arriving this week and I can't wait! I wanted to ask - is your cat declawed? That is my only worry, that my cat will want to claw at it and damage it...got a 4x12 mat and will likely keep it covered when not in use to prevent her from getting at it. Thanks!
He doesn't have front claws (I adopted him that way), but it has taken me a lot of behavioral training to get him to stop sleeping on the mat. Honestly, if you have a cat, I would find a way to cover it. Everything about this putting mat probably SCREAMS "lay on me and scratch me" to cats.
@@ZupE891 its been so great! Has helped my putting this season so far immensely, especially in the 3-7ft range. And my cat hasn't messed with it at all which has been nice. My only change would have been to go with the Slow stimp setting instead of the Medium. It's pretty fast even into the grain on my basement carpet, but still works really great.
What type of indoor putting green do you want...Something for practice or for fun and enjoyment?
Very nice job with the review! I’ve been thinking about what size to get and your insights are very well thought out.
Glad I could help!
Cool vid, thanks. Also, cool Banksy work. Did you buy those in Central Park New York City by any chance when Banksy was on residency?
No. I got them from an art dealer in Chicago. I believe they were from the Dismaland collection.
Good review. I do the same thing with the laser level to work on keeping my lines. Helps a lot,
It’s such a helpful guide for putting. Outside I use a chalk line on the ground.
I used the birdieball when it first came out around 2002 ish. Just ordered a putting mat for Xmas.

Yeah... you can. I use sharpies to mark off distance on mine.
@@KennieKatGolf Thanks!

John Moore I know, right? Love the little guy but my putts don’t roll true through cat hair. 😂
Solid review bro!
Best option for indoor putting practice at that price.
I love the birdieball system. I would recommend to everyone.
How easy is it to store? I'll need to roll mine up each time I'm done using it. Wondering how big/annoying it is in that sense.
I have a 12ft mat that rolls up to about the same size as a decent duffel bag , not too much hassle to stuff in a closet.
Just ordered one because of this review!! Great vid, do you have a link to the laser on amazon??
That's awesome. I'm addicted to mine. Here is the link to the laser. amzn.to/2BCoY1F
How is it holding up?
Awesome review!
What was the song at the end ?

You still liking it after all this time? or does it wear down?

Glad you liked it!
Solid review.
What are the dimensions of the mat you have there? How wide is it?
12’ x 2’
This was very informative, thank you!!

Awesome, thank you!
What length was yours
12ft I believe.
Have you tried it on top of carpet?
It works fine on a low pile carpet. But if the floor is bumpy or uneven it’s going to affect the direction of your putts. Thanks for watching!
Do I spy 3 Scotty’s on the back wall? 😎
Yes, I used to own 3... I’m down to 2 now.
Birdieball offers (or now offers) a double 1" thick mat, so the balls will fall in easier. Not all the way, but probably half the ball falls in.
Yeah those are clutch. If i didn’t have to roll mine up as much and move it, I’d totally get the double thickness. Thanks for commenting!
