just bought it and this video makes me feel better about it. coming from 2 144hz 24 inch 1080p monitors, i'm a little afraid to go to 75hz but i also play competitive games maybe once every couple months vs video editing all the time lol

Bought one on sale at Costco. After 18 months on a 4K element during lockdown, could not go back to my office 1080p FHD screen, even though it was an awesome BenQ unit. Thought the LG colour was off but it may be my Inspiron screen and the Element that are the non-accurate ones. Thanks for the alternate POV. Still checking.
Thank you for your review, this monitor is fabulous, which is better than the samsumg g3 and g5, excellent for games, practically no ghosting, for reading with white text and a black background no flickering, I did not get any dead pixels
Great review! Did this have an eco mode that needed to be turned off? I bought this monitor last week on Amazon and it was super dim and the coating looked almost cloudy when light would hit it, your unit looks way better.

I don't agree with the use of terms like "light gamer". Aside from competitive HARD CORE wannabies pro, any player would probably go for a nice image over 1ms response time or 144Hz if they are given a side by side comparaison with nobody trying to flatter their competitive ego.

Received my height-adjustable version today and it's a delight. No need for most of us to pay what's currently substantially more than he's claiming an external arm currently costs -- it's $64, not "forty bucks." Don't let his bad-mouthing the height adjustable version stop you from considering it depending on your needs.

Light gaming? For a budget monitor I game on it 75% of the time I use it....and it's fantastic for gaming! Then again I'm also not picky when it comes to my gaming monitors vs others. I care more about color and brightness, and this monitor nails it!! For the price...
Hey I want to ask you is there any noticeable difference when using this 75Hz monitor over 60hz one? I bet you have experience using both. I am trying to decide if the 144Hz monitors are really worth it for me considering most of those are VA in the same price range as that IPS model and also considering that the FPS games I play are CS:GO and the other games I mostly play are Dota 2, Skyrim, Wither 3... Maybe I'll play Modern Warfare, Battlefield 1-5, but still older games not AAA titles...

you should really get the same G7 monitor if you intend to use two of the same sized monitor. Different panel can be distracting sometimes with different level of brightness adjustments. As in some monitor have different steps in the brightness adjustment so it can be tricky to match the brgihtness.
motion in movies and tv shows doesn't look good on mine at all (panning shots look terrible, for example, I find mission impossible dead reckoning impossible to watch). I'm wondering if there's something wrong with how I have it set up. Displayport 1.4, "Fast" setting; anything else I can do?

I wonder this monitor has 250 nits on paper but some msi monitors gets higher than on paper value. I think this monitor isnt very bright i wonder how is lg 32gn600 it gets 280 nits on the test if msi gets only 250nits is there big difference 250 and 280 nits. 27gn800 gets 300 nits but you can see difference very easily.

I am connecting this to my imac (27 in, late 2013) - the resolution doesn't quite match up. I think I need to change the cord (mini DV to HDMI) or is it just my iMAC is too dated? (waiting for the new 2021 macbook pro to connect to the monitor for editing).
Just got this (Without the "-B" in the title, not sure what that means). Does anyone know why when I turn Freesync on, the resolution falls to 1080p? That also seems to be the only way to set it to 75hz refresh rate. In all resolution menus, it seems to be hard set to 1080p, with no option to bring it back to 1440p unless I turn Freesync off and it drops it back down to 60hz.
@@debnadaebna9981 Thanks! I found a workaround in switching to HDMI, I was using DisplayPort while having this issue. I'm not sure why this was, it was the first time I'd ever seen a downside to using DisplayPort

I have somehow managed to make my background HUGE and all my icons on the screen disappeared except 1. I cannot make the background image/picture smaller, nor make my icons reappear. Any ideas how to fix that? Personally, I don't think this monitor is very clear like my 27" one is. I cannot make it less hazy and I've tried every setting I can imagine. Nothing makes it better. Sometimes a recorded video looks really good and then it goes hazy like I'm looking thru smoke. Not real happy with this monitor right now. Probably taking it back if it does not start to work better.

I just got a LG UltraGear 32GN600-B - LED-Monitor - QHD - 80 cm (32") and i cant run 1440p or 2560 resolution because max supported is full hd 1920 by 1080. I have pentium g3240 with integrated graphics...should i upgrade to i3 or get a new graphics card just enough to run this resolution so that i can do multimedia stuff and not into gaming much..

A bit late, but just replying in case anyone else needs it. This is the QN model, not GN. The GN one has a VA panel, this is IPS.
