I found the Mk1 ZX5 to be alot lower spinning than the Mk1 ZX7 with identical shaft.. (with 110 mph swing) as did alot of other people, including PGA players strangely. I've not tried one against the standard Mk2 head or Mk2 LS yet, but looking forward to comparing if I upgrade next season. Maybe you should do a Mk1 Vs Mk2 video 😎 Thanks for this video and info btw 👍
This is my current driver and I love it. I was fitted for a Stealth HD 2 but this driver was very close in performance and 2/3rd the price (less carbon ?).
Carbon costs money so in that sense you made the right decision. If there isn't any benefit, go for the cheapest option....... unless it looks the cheapest of course 😀
Hi, could you please give me a definitive answer to how lofting down a driver actually works. My understanding is taking 1.5 degrees of loft off doesn't change the loft itself but instead opens the face. Its then left to the golfer to turn the clubface back square which in turn then de-lofts the driver 1.5 degrees. No one ever seems to tell you to do that but it's what i once read and it makes perfect sense to me? I thought you would be the best person to ask to get a once and for all answer :)
Hi Greg, depends on which loft adapter is being used, 2 main types are offset camber and sure fit type. Offset adapters are effectively and off set to shaft axis adapter that continually changes loft, lie and face angle. No additional face angle manipulation is needed as twist added it removed which counters the rotational setting in the adapter would remedy it neutral. So on an offset adapter fully adjustable up and down loft will open and close the face the most amount, and settings in between also affect lie angle. Sure fit type adapters don't operate in the same way, but aren't relevant to your initial query 👍🏻
So it looks like I am wrong in my understanding, my driver is a PXG 0311 and when i have taken it down to 9 degrees it sits open and doesn't look de-lofted its only when i twist it slightly that it squares up and the loft comes off. I appreciate you taking the time to answer questions, its much appreciated.@@AskGolfNut

Did you use the 6.0 or 6.5 rdx red shaft.
Can't remember to be honest, I'll look next time I'm at work 👍🏻
@@AskGolfNut thank you. If it was off the rack then def 6.0. I wanna see what a rdx black shaft would do with that spin vs that stock red
Looks good 👍
Definitely does, quite nice sounding.... Retro even 😊
Wish they offered this in a 12 degree head....
Teally liked this driver at a demo day. The entire line was great. I hit the fairways and hybrids better than my own. ⛳️🏌🏽♂️
