Great video. As a liberal, I agree with you 100%. This is racism, it is not a true liberal value, and it is wrong. To everyone who is not sure what to do: Stand up for what is right. Tell people it is wrong when you see it. Do not be told that you have to agree with them. You do not. This is backwards. This is going backwards on racism. It is wrong, it is racist, and it cannot be tolerated. Do not pass up any chance to say so. Do not be afraid of being called names. Do the right thing, for the future.
@@wegood563 Is there anything to explain? You tell people about racist white people in history, this makes them angry, and racism happens when they, too, look at a whole group of people as being at fault for the color of their skin. It is stupid, but so are most people. That is how slavery became an American institution in the first place, by stupid people listening to other stupid people.
The saddest part about this video is that it never could've been made by a white person. Thanks for trying to revive the values we all grew up with in the 2000s, when equality was the word to preach and when unity was our strength.
Yep. I’ve been wanting to say this my whole life, but I can’t, because I’m white. Shouldn’t that be a huge clue that this is racism? Didn’t the same thing happen to black people not long ago here?
Y’all need to grow a pair. Nothings gonna change if we don’t speak up. And yeah there will be some negative consequences (maybe, depending on where you live and who you’re with) but we can’t sit around and do nothing. Change doesn’t occur when good and honest people just sit around and hope something magically saves them
Sadly in the modern (digital) world such a video made by a white person would be seen as racist, anti woke, propaganda, assholery etc. probably they'd slander with terms as majn character and victim syndrome. It's painful
Remove the word race from your vocabulary. There are no "races", just one human race. If we keep using this word, we keep the idea that there is a fundamental difference between people that have different physical attribute. Let's start by removing that word from our language when talking about humans You might also want to avoid starting your comment by "I'm white". By making it about skin color you also keep perpetuating the problem. Just apreciate the message as YOURSELF, as a human. Everyone, no matter skin color should appreciate and agree with not repeating history's mistakes and go towards a less divided, better and happier society.
I'm not even white and this has been getting on my nerves for YEARS. I'm so happy someone finally spoke out about it. RACISM IS RACISM, doesnt matter the color.
I am so glad that people talk about this. As a black woman I am often told that I do not act `` black`` or `` black enough`` because I choose a certain lifestyle. For example, I like asian food and k-pop. When I make asian meals my family judge me because they see me as I wanted to become asian. Culture should is meant to be shared. It is awful to judge or discriminate someone by there background, race, sex, ect. I totally agree with you
100% agree with you! I’m white but I’ve heard and seen this “you’re not black enough” issue a lot. It’s ridiculous, utter stupidity. I agree with with you, culture should be shared, I also like kpop and it’s wonderful having variety in your music tastes. It’s just sad to me that liking things from other cultures is considered weird.
My wife is Mexican, she gets judged for doing “white people” things like camping or shooting. She always like damn that shits fun you’re just choosing to live miserable because you’re not wanting to branch out.
I love asian food and i am sure most the world does too, I am all for other peoples culture and respect it, The only thing i hate is when others come to YOUR country and try force there religion and beliefs onto you. have respect of the Country you are in and it's culture ect. If your country was so great then why did you move in the first place that is my only gripe but for people in general i treat everyone the same no matter the colour or race i treat them the same way i like to be treated and if they treat me with disrespect i do the same back..plain and simple

Last year I overheard Asian coworkers complaining about the white cashier in the cafe downstairs who never smiled at them. “He’s racist!” Thing is, he never smiled at me either. And I realised, I never smiled at him and must have seemed pretty rude in my rush to grab my coffee. I doubt my coworkers smiled either. Turned out he was treated poorly by the cafe manager, was struggling to pay rent and keep on top of university studies. He never smiled at anyone because he was unhappy. I see and hear so much of this now- EVERYTHING a white person does is because they’re racist. It’s never just they’re having a bad day, or that we contributed to it.
This is honestly heartbreaking. I came from the Middle East to Canada around 5 years ago and I’m telling you , it is so visible and obvious the difference of comfort in their own personality a minority and a white person has. The white ppl I know have to ALWAYS make it clear that they are not being racist, while other races say anything they want with no second thought. Think of how many ppl you heard someone casually say “I hate white ppl” as if it’s a joke. On the other hand, a white person can’t say “I hate black people” even as a joke. It’s honestly sad what is happening to them.
I almost had this experience recently. I had a PetSmart store clerk that I almost reported for being racist, but I decided to go to another store....and had the same exact difficult experience. And by the 3rd time I realized it's just a fish store thing.
@@Hajfnwsbj Yes, they are. There are certain things Americans are programmed to since an early age, that being one of them. Actually, I think this is one of the main reasons why white people would rather home school instead of sending their kids to public schools.
Hello, I am a white 12 year old girl, and honestly, it’s things exactly like the videos that you were able to show us today that genuinely makes me terrified for my future. We are actively moving backward into segregation and missed opportunities for white people. I dream of eventually being an actor, and just so everyone knows, replacing a character who was described as white in a book, and then giving the role of that character to a black person in a tv show or movie made later is not ‘giving more black actors a chance’ , or ‘ letting a more deserving person have a shot’ it’s racism, plain and simple
You're pretty aware for a 12 year old so I'd say you're on the right track. It's best not to worry about this stuff and make the best out of your teenage years
Very well said, I have the exact same opinion. It's like when disney made a movie with Ariel being black, it's just plain stupid and racist. The characters race doesn't need to be changed, If they really want to give more people of colour chances to act, they can just make a new movie with a new story that actually is supposed to feature people of colour. I don't really mind that Ariel in the movie is black, I'm just mad about the way that the people in charge of the movie are thinking, it's just worrying.
@@williamgeerhold7315 I'm a woman and when I saw Disney did the Young Woman and the Sea I just rolled my Gen X eyes way into the back of my skull. C'mon. Disney's problem is they spend too much time being woke when they should spend it *actually writing new stories from scratch*.

Indeed. Honestly, what’s concerning is that some of these tiktok people are going to create a self fulfilling prophecy. By discriminating, pushing an entire race into a corner, it’s going to unify them and create the opportunity for a group to recruit many. We’ve kinda seen this, like with the tikitorch marchers. But at the rate things are going, it’s likely to become much more serious. WW2, and Hitler only came to power because of the treaty of WW1. The German people were essentially forced to foot the bill, and were heavily blamed. Which created the course for a man to try to unify people. Granted, I highly doubt that anything close to that will happen in the USA honestly. But the point is, if you treat groups of people so poorly, they’ll likely end up reacting, as it’s just human nature to protect yourself.
I never understood how people thought they were fighting racism by being racist. Racism only ends when you stop pointing out race and bringing up skin colour 24/7.
i was such a big black activist when i was younger, always wanting equality but now im older and blacks and mexicans are being racist towards me it makes me want to be racist towards them! theyre bringing us back to the 1800s
@@bellastarrie YES! The reactionary racism is the problem I see most now. Including with myself. I'll admit, I've had racist thoughts due to having racism thrown at me. Now, I haven't said things that were racist outloud, but I'll admit I've thought them all because of the racism towards me and other white individuals. It's not right, and all racism just needs to be called out, it's just sad we've come to a point now where being racist towards anyone that's white is ok because "you can't experience it". I've literally pointed out to people, you're judging based off a SKIN COLOR and RACE, that's literally what racism means!
I'm very mixed (half white) and white passing. I have been hated on for being "white". After I tell people I'm not white, suddenly they're friendly. It's messed up. My dad gets called racist simply because he's a white man. He's called sexist because he's straight. Told he's homophobic despite having a gay son (me) and being supportive. I hate seeing what my dad goes through, and I'm tired of being hated on in the winter (thought I'd add some dry humor because I tan very dark).
I had a friend in college who said the hardest part of being mixed was that his black friends saw him as white and his white friends saw him as black. To be honest I knew him as Corey, but when he said that I didn’t feel like I could disagree.
my Nigerian friend once said during class that "we should do slavery again except against the white people" the Kenyan girl next to her immediately agreed as they stared at me, it made me feel so uncomfortable that some people want to continue the loop of trauma and pain all over again, all I did was slowly back away.
Terrifying that they said this openly with you standing right there - no fear, no shame, no conscience. I'm sorry that happened to you. This happened to my daughter all through high school and is still happening to her almost every day at work. 😢
Notice what american school teaches us about racism? They never explain what happened to white people. During Thomas Jefferson's time when he was president, there was white people enslaved in America and shipped across the world to be slaves. But school would refuse to teach us that
Very true. But why are Neo-Nazis, KKK and other yt supremacy groups still very relevant to this day? Why are yt people not learning from their history and holding each other accountable like minorities have been doing for hundreds of years? Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi have been educating POCs on race but why are yt people not expected to do the same? Why must the others turn the cheek and educate an entire race of people on them being humans? Why are yt people not learning from their 400+ year history? Not fighting, just curious as to why the expectations are different for other racial groups.
I'm a black woman and I'm so happy to hear this because I thought I was the only one who thought this. Also if anyone and I mean ANYONE who says "black people can't be racist" or "you can't be racist to white people" just know that this is racism in itself.
I’m glad I watched this video brother. Everything you’ve said in this video is spot on. @@Candolad Dumbass take. Just because people who aren't racist stop talking about racism doesn't mean it'll stop a racist from being racist. It's sad but true as a white dude, at the age of 15, I'm afraid to stand up for myself because people could just system I'm being racist and that could end my whole future, I wish I was born in a better time.
The craziest part is the need for him to make a video on it. It shouldn't need saying, but it sadly does cause of our short attention spans and how widespread the top down corruption has been. Evil is tricky and patient. It can hide and work from within light, and will inevitably corrupt everything if not rooted out.
Right? Just be a decent person, it's really not that hard. Most of these people think they're somehow morally superior when they treat people terribly.
This is why “all lives matter” is NOT an offensive state of mind. It’s inclusive and completely denies racism, as racism is noticing people *for or as the color of their skin.*
Fr, dude. I’m a student and I’ve found that at the student level POC students are in no way treated worse than me due to their skin colour (just what I’ve seen) and if anything it’s been me who’s been challenged with opportunities, as some programs have black or indigenous-priority, and there are clubs and festivals in my school celebrating particular countries/cultures/religions. I’m a European immigrant from a shitty country that’s never been a colonizer and it’s confusing to see how people claim they are oppressed while they receive more opportunities at the same time.
@@See_sharp4544 that's another good point - 'white' is such a broad term for european cultural groups; just like 'african/black' is a general descriptor of people from africa. swedish culture is different to maltese culture; andorran culture is different to belarusian culture. someone from romania has a completely different history and life to someone from england, but because they both have white skin they're treated as the same. it's so frustrating

Aa a black person, I am SICK of this divisive language. I grew up during the 90s and these kind of talks amongst both races have never happened in my personal experience. We worked together, and we were progressing and now it's people like this is why this country has become a joke. I hope there is an awakening soon because they WILL create new racists by acting this way.
They're speaking the exact sort of language we were taught to ignore, fight against, or educate about. It's wild to hear some college age kid spout the hateful stuff I'd hear out of the super old folks and the racist stragglers in the 90's. The same kinds of horrible things that were once dying off and had a very hopeful outlook but now are treated as true and virtuous again just because of the target. Like wtf

I am a high schooler currently, and mostly white. There is an Asian Student Union at my school that had a “boba and hang” typa event after school, and the poster said anyone of any race could join. As soon as I entered the room I saw other white kids, but the Asian kids shamed me and kept putting us white kids down for being the race we are born with. I was yelled at and shouted at some pretty mean things, and yet I though I was the problem, just for showing up. All I wanted to learn was about other cultures and customs, not to be treated like a monster. Thank you so much for this video, now I realize I am not the monster that I am treated as.
this reminds me of when morgan freeman was asked how racism could end and he said something along the lines of ‘when we stop talking about it. forget the race.’ acknowledge each other as humans. not by their races. you can be racist to ANYONE; it’s in the term ‘racist’; the prejudice/discrimination against a race.
it was pretty close to... "I won't call you a white man, so I ask that you don't call me a black man." I like that quote. In the end, they are both simply men. Nothing more, nothing less.
I'm white, and as a child I grew up in a trailer worth $30,000 and my mom had a car that she started with a screwdriver. At 22 I joined the military and was then told by strangers about all this "privilege" I have and that I was handed everything. Now at 29 I'm in college using the GI Bill and I get to listen to 20-year-olds talk about how privileged white people are, even though they come from wealthy families that have paid for their education. It's disgusting how we're trying to combat racism and bigotry with racism and bigotry.
You realize that you’re probably better off than a person of color would’ve been with your exact same background? Systemic racism is pretty damn well documented, dude. White privilege isn’t an inherently bad thing to acknowledge as being apart of society, it just means that white people have and are the dominating ruling class of society and white individuals in power long ago set up institutions that help and promote white individuals over other ethnic minorities. This can range from jobs, to school applications, to even military like in your experience.
my family moved to this country when jimmy carter was president and still can't speak english properly. back then, the news talked about soviet defectors like they talk about syrian refugees today. @fernando snips I can relate. My ancestors came here from Ireland and nobody would hire them. So my great-grandfather would fight people in basements during the Great Depression for watches that he'd pawn off to feed his family.
@X Actually, as a poor minority you have more scholarships for college and better government relief. When you're poor and white, no one gives a damn. Poor is poor, and whether you're black, white, brown, or anything in between, you are still poor. People will treat you like crap regardless of how you look.
Notice how Martin Luther King Jr never called for white people to be condemned. He never called for more rights, or for white people to have less rights. He called for equal rights. Marin Luther King Jr was an incredible man and would be ashamed at how so many of his descendants are behaving, they are literally calling for what he was protesting against. It's mind-boggling.
Indeed. Closed minded biases. I think alot of it stems from fear. Social media warps everyone's minds and creates this delusion that certain races of people have these default attitudes and biases. They spend their time in their own sounding board and never really talk to these groups of people, white people in this case, to have any kind of real world experience. This is just more repercussions of replacing genuine human interaction with a piece of silicone in your hand that's a warped view of the actual world around you.
Straight white male with a story: I was working a retail job at 16 years old and this black lady and her young daughter came in trying to return some obviously stolen clothes. The bag was ripped up, she had no receipt and no rewards account and it was around $500 worth of product. I denied her refund per company policy and she threw an absolute fit. She had yelled “Did you say it’s because I’m black?!” to try and get everyones attention to the issue. Soon a crowd of people with phones started recording me and everyone automatically assumed that I was the bad guy. Security removed her and a week later I was fired from my job. Some of these people know that they can weaponize self victimization, and use it to their advantage. Black hate does still exist, but I also think a portion of the black community embrace oppression because it can be used as an advantage in todays society. Not to mention the young daughter who was standing with this lady has likely been observing this behavior, and will likely think this is acceptable later on. Edit: Didn’t expect this comment to blow up. To those who took what I said out of context: I did NOT share my testimony to racially profile anyone. I use my words very carefully and I know that not everyone acts like this. It’s just a select few that make it worse for everyone else. Just a reminder that the racism pot is only stirred to prevent everyone from coming together. Love your neighbor and treat people with kindness, you never know if she might have needed that money.
I worked at the gap and the exact same thing happened to me I hated the idea that they could just get away with stealing based solely on there race. Its fucked up and it made me so angry that my manager literally told me this happens all the time and I shouldn't try to stop it.

Im white and this video and these type of comments have given me the gift of feeling like a kid again. there's a a chance that equality will actually exsist. It's an awesome feeling to feel like that can happen. I hope to see racism fully eradicated from earth. It's holding back our progression twaords a healthier more productive society. Skin color dosent matter. And I hope my generation can emphasize that to our kids to hopefully create a more equal future for them.
It’s funny because modern Nigeria has a massive personal servant market and Britain had to invade when they banned slavery in the 19th century because Nigeria refused
As a black woman I have been ostracized and insulted by people who were supposed to be my friends of years, just for having an opinion that their views of white people is really extreme. Thank you for making this video, and being a voice
I’ve heard some of my friends of color say this to me, all I have to say is putting people in a box based off skin color is a miserable existence for anyone. At the end of the day I’ve learned if you put how you see yourself in other peoples hands most often you will be crushed. I’ve only recently experienced racism or rather realized it was racism like people asking my black friends “why are you hanging out with that white girl” amongst other stereotypes. I’ve also lost a lot of my white friends because even they started expressing a lot of self hate and projecting on their family and other white people in general, even making statements about wanting to breed out their whiteness for their children. just be true to who you are and be kind and you’ll attract the right people, Much love 💕
In Brazil we have a saying: "When Education is not liberating, the dream of the oppressed is to become the oppressor". Sadly, this isn't exclusive to race minorities, and also applies to poverty and many underserved groups that struggle to break free, both in societal power and emotionally.
That said, I dream of the time when we can all be TRULY equal and progress as brothers and sisters, no matter the race, color or culture, and I do my part to embrace this future. Thank you very much for contributing as well

One of them loudly proclaimed “I HATE white people!”. I was appalled because I knew if the roles were reversed those boys would have whipped out their phones and proclaimed me a “racist Karen” on TikTok. But since I’m white and it’s not considered racist to hate people for being white the only thing I said was “Are we really that bad?” Trying to deflect the tension with humor. But the more time passes the angrier that I get. Especially because my 16 year old daughter who was with me was actually upset. Not because we were the victims of racism but because she felt I had no business even responding to the boys. She felt what they said was to be tolerated. That bothers me a lot.

As such I've grown up around both groups and I have to say, while I have seen and experienced small amounts of racism from white folks (It really wasn't much and I'm from the south, where people are supposedly super racist), it does not hold a candle to the racism I've seen and experienced from black folks. I mean I've heard it all. That I was "tainted" or "not black enough". I've heard slurs, been ostracized by them, you name it. In contrast, I don't think I've ever heard a slur from a white person outside of a friendly context.
My girlfriend used to teach at a troubled school in Chicago years before I met her, she ended up hooking up with this black dude that was a teacher there. All the black women would call the dude tainted after that. Absolutely nuts lol
Well racism is just a combination of stupidity and ignorance in relation to ones understanding of the world. People are people, and a good amount are assholes who allow themselves to be shaped by their respective environments for the worse. What most people need to do is just take life a little less seriously and not by hyper aggressive toward things that are out of their personal control, like other peoples opinions. My dad always told me that "for most people 1 bad experience cancels out 100 good experiences".

Dear Charlie, I'm so happy that you're brave enough to come out and say it. As a Black Muslim, I'm tired of being told which side to be on and it just devastates me that we're in a society where there is so much hatred towards White People and I'm tired of constantly being told that I have to be dealing with systemic racism.
The more I see how this situation “evolves” the more I realize that only Islam can solve racism. It’s a shame these people appropriated Malcolm X to themselves, when he realized that his previous rhetoric was evil. I love my Muslim brothers of all races.
I’m white and just by watching this video I started to feel bad that people are saying the stuff they are. I can’t imagine what it would be like to be a person of color being told that you are oppressed all the time. Whether it’s true or not, it has to have a huge emotional and mental impact on how you see yourself and perceive the world.
I am a black and asian woman and I agree full heartedly. I’ve been saying this. We are literally going backwards. You are very brave for speaking on this publicly.
I’ve been saying this for years. We’re regressing as a society. We need to break the cycle. What was done in the past was wrong, but people need to quit this “sins of the father” bullshit. All they’re doing is creating more hatred. “Oh these people are being racist towards me.” All that’s going to do is cause racism to fester up and be lashed back out, Break the cycle. Stop hating people based on race. Stop trying to destroy all the progress people made to get us this far. Because all it takes is one person with enough influence to state this shit and everything goes tits up.
Hate only creates more hate, some white people will start to become racist just because how they are treated as an example. But this is good for the politicians "divide and conquer" look here not there. As if people would unite then WE the people would have the power.
I’m biracial, Pacific Islander and white. I’ve experienced so much more discrimination and racism from “people of color” than I ever have from white people. I’ve definitely experienced it first hand both ways but it’s not even close. Thank you for speaking on this.
My wife is originally from Mexico and I'm white. Our daughter, not even 2 years old, has experienced racism from leftists already. This country is going down the drain, and unfortunately we are influencing other countries in Europe and Latin America as well.
My ex fiance was black, and I discovered that black communities have VIRULENT hatred between "red bones" (light skin blacks) and dark skins, the latter of which my fiance was. Also they overwhelmingly hate race mixing, they hate Hispanics, they hate Asians, they hate whites. I had no idea how cartoonishly racist blacks were until I started dating her. Glad she dumped me to be a club heaux, I can't imagine having to see those people for holidays.
As a white dude that's been robbed of the opportunity to speak my mind in recent years: thank you, truly. Restores faith in humanity to see videos like this.
It's saddening. They rely on censorship rather than critical thinking. If they sat back and thought for a bit about their logic, they would come to this conclusion too. But they refuse to do this because they know they are wrong, they want an excuse to be mad at people. It's just the same woke social justice warriors attacking everybody for any reason. That is why we need to all start calling it out because if we do not, the same behavior will continue because rn they think they can destroy people's lives and get away with it.
Im glad i dont spend much time on social media outside of UA-cam and Reddit, because these kinds of videos seem to be spiraling out of control on tiktok, and probably twitter and instagram too. Kind of shocking how much vitriol there is in their speech. As if I'm responsible for what some people i happen to descend from did in the past. Its not like we've been raised to be the same versions of our ancestors, and its not necessarily even close to the majority of our white ancestors that were these "racist colonisers". Things have changed drastically since those days, and people of colour may still suffer from racist remarks or actions, but so do whites, but its ok because its our turn now? If they really wanted to end racism, and be real people (empathetic/authentic), then they wouldnt perpetuate it. And its gonna come back and bite them in the ass if they wish to do so.
I almost couldn't watch without wanting to punch a wall out of pure rage. I can't even comprehend how someone thinks like that. I'm angry that this behavior isn't being punished. Where is the goddamn thought process? Why is it my fault that I'm white? Why is being white even bad?
It's only slightly off-topic but one thing that rlly ticks me off is how everyone tries to make it out that *only* white people were doing slavery and that only POC were the ones enslaved when that is just straight up not true? slavery didn't even start with race, for a long time America had *white* slaves, and other countries and races did the same too for hundreds of years. Africa had African slaves, India had Indian slaves, Russia had Russian slaves, etc., etc. It only became a race thing when the overseas slave trade started (at least for the USA and Canada). Slaves have been a thing for THOUSANDS of years and everyone wants to pin it on caucasian people and specifically in the 1800s? wtf?!?! sorry, this has been bothering me for a while and I just needed to rant about it. **Racism is racism** no matter what and I'm just tired of not even being able to talk to my white friends about it
Precisely... Every single country out there did this. Being slavic myself (the word slave comes from the word slavic!) it truly makes me laugh when some random US citizen claims I am at fault because someone, somewhere in the US had slaves, and I am white so I must be at fault! Little did they know, my grandma wasn't a slave-owner, but a slave herself! (or as she would call it - she did "forced labour") Not to mention, the people that are outraged about it, often aren't even the ones whose ancestors were enslaved, but kids from wealthy families looking for a way to feel relevant in the victimhood-ridden societies of the west.
The word “Slave” actually came about referring to the enslaved Slavics. Slav. Slave. U see it (NOT discrediting or invalidating any other races historical or current history with slavery)
When we see signs that say 'End Racism' this is what they're talking about. Just because you had a bad experience with someone who may have been from a different race then you doesn't mean that everyone with that ethnicity is bad. It's Important to remember that one person's actions don't define an entire group. Let's work towards understanding and unity, rather than allowing negative experiences to fuel prejudice. Ending racism starts with each of us, one open mind at a time.
Nothing! on it's own will have any "impact" on society or "change". BUT this is like a START. We START to recognise this subject, react, talk to others, start posting here and there, look within, keep talking, sharing these concepts. The ball starts rolling. Have hope. Speak for truth. Keep going, and all the while, find a way to enjoy your journey. Together in peace .. we can do this.
As a biracial man (white and black) i was very ashamed of my white ancestry and grew up in a society that celebrated blackness and condemned whiteness. I cried my eyes out like a little boy watching this video 😂😂 this brought out feelings of self hatred I never confronted in my life. So glad I came across this because now I know someones out there fighting for us as individuals. Thank you so much Charlie.
As a black teen living in Africa, I've been trying to get this point across with my classmates for sooo long but they say I'm just "whitewashed"😐 so I shut up about it :/. Fighting for equality changed to wanting to have one race over the other and the cycle is repeating itself all over again. If a white person made a video like this, he would immediately be cancelled and called out for being "racist" so thank you for this video and I really do hope we can do better as a society but I'll do my best to not associate with that type of mindset and just be as much of a good person that I can be. That's what the world really needs now. Have a great day everyone :)
Don't give up, keep trying. I try to teach people now. It's hard, though, since I'm 30 the people I know have fully developed brains and you can't change it that easily anymore.
I had the same problem in high school as well man. Keep doing what your doing and stay strong. Always remember the actions you have taken and the attitude you have adopted makes you a good human being. Because these clowns out here think they are oppressed but go about oppressing themselves.
@@battlepassgod what's funny about that? The young man in the video is likely younger than the person who made the comment, thus being the "younger generation". Did you really just laugh at something that made sense?
@@battlepassgod well I'm 40 so I'm assuming he's probably in his 20's? I would call that our younger generation. I was also taught in school to not see race but the person. I believe that's a way better philosophy than this white guilt and hate that kids are learning now.
Their Ignorance about the history of our world is alarming They really believe that all other continents lived in peace and prosperity and there were no wars that lasted 100s of years in Asia or Africa before the "White Devil" came.
Black American here; I commend you on bringing this to light; nothing saddens me more than seeing my people become the very thing that caused us much pain. And our country is too great to be forever tainted by such an insignificant concept as the different human races..
@Solur believe it or not we normal brain functioning black americans actually consider them a real plague... They're the prime example of an "overbearing minority." The racist blacks social media antics seemingly always overshadow our good will and patriotism 🤦🏿 they're good at getting attention
Thank you. Thank you so much for those words. You have no idea how much that means to me, and to all of us. The fact that your people had to endure years of slavery, and years of segregation is disgusting. And now this whole hatred incident seems to be moving right back to segregation again. Why are people so evil??? I hope you're doing well. Let's all fight for true equality.
As a fellow black American I completely agree. This shit honestly makes me sick, and as a republican if I speak up all of a sudden I'm not black and I'm part of the problem..
@@Tony-wh7gi EXACTLY. I once seen where they tried Larry Elder, the "Black face of White supremacy". Disgusting. They're slandering the names of ANYONE who speaks out against their blatant racism. Let's keep fighting, man.
As a brown person, thank you for saying this. I’m tired of people fighting for equality only to discriminate others who don’t look or think like them, which is literally exactly what they are fighting against. Equality means we are all treated the same, you’re not gonna get princess treatment for being “different”. Being white does not make someone a bad person or entitled just cause they aren’t a minority. The color of someone’s skin is not in anyone’s control and we shouldn’t be judging their entire character by it. It’s funny how people have been preaching this for years yet we’ve come back in a full circle. I know the video isn’t really about equality but this was just a thought I had
It seems like they want us to go full circle… punish the white man because their ancestors sinned. Completely ignoring the fact that white people were not the only sinners, but rather the most skilled.
I'm not fighting for equality. I'm fighting for exclusion. To oppress or discriminate means to treat different people in an immoral way. But no morality exists independent of a subject’s belief or preference. Dependent only upon the opinions of the subject, it would not be innately moral or immoral to love, support or hate people on the basis of their identity, color, thought and behaviour. If someone believes the treatment to be moral, it'd be moral to them. And if someone believes the treatment to be immoral, it'd be immoral to them. You may believe, say, racial inequality to be immoral. That would be no better than, say, the beliefs that some people constitute a superior race, that all white people are privileged and immoral, inheriting the sins of their white ancestors, etc. The hateful, unequal treatment of different people would not be immoral, oppressive or discriminatory in the belief system that allows such treatment. To call, say, white-exclusionary people oppressive or discriminatory, would "force" your belief system on, say, white-exclusionary people, who then "force" their belief system on you. At the end of the day, morality would be a battle of opposing "forces." We "force" our belief systems on each other, until one party receives popular vote and "forces" their belief system on every other party. That's where we get "cultural norms" from
Ah shit you telling me white people oppressed now? Gtfoh 😂 just because people say ignorant shit about whites don’t mean there aren’t ignorant shit said about everyone else especially blacks. But this little social shift is so dramatic to white folks that they feel enslaved now? This funny asf 😂
I'm a black woman and I feel the same way, but whenever I've said something, I'm told that Black people can't be racist. Anyone can be racist. Anyone can show hatred towards someone just because of the color of their skin. It isn't right. Edit: There are some who are saying that hatred of one due to the color of their skin is not racism in the comments. While the definitions of racism have been changing over the years, I will concede and replace the word hatred with superiority for the sake of the argument. My thoughts below in the comment section still stand, because there are blacks who feel they are superior to whites. If they believe whites to be the inferior race, then by definition, is this not a form of racism? I address systematic racism below.
It’s worrying people think black people cant be racist. So you can’t be racist to Charlie for example? I’m glad you have the critical thinking to see through pressure from your peers
Anyone who says that black people can not be racist says that because in his head he thinks that a race can not be racist while in the same time he refuses to accept that biologically races exist.in his head whites are not the race but rather "default" meaning that he thinks blacks are a race lol. Thats the only way I can see it.
The fact those people think black people cant be racist is astounding. Their the people group I’ve encountered being the most racist. Edit: most of the time they don’t think it’s racist due to the culture and societal norms of being “oppressed” (really it’s just we as people don’t care about black people that struggle financially and mentally, same with white asian Hispanic etc)
Man...watching this, and then seeing that compliation of tiktok videos...I am immediately reminded of a line spoken by my history teachers each year through highschool, "those who do not learn history, are doomed to repeat it.", which is pretty much the feeling I get after watching this.
what your history teacher said is true. the BLM movement was made for equality- not POC supremacy. POC are starting to become exactly what they claim to hate: racist. I'm a white-passing Latina and it's unfortunately already in effect. some black people at my school assumed i was racist because i look white, but they were all nice after i spoke fluent spanish to my friend once. it's sad cause i could get accused for everything under the sun then immediately forgiven cause i'm POC.
As a black women, I agree wholeheartedly. I do not like what has been going on. It is racism. Racism is not this new definition about having “power”. People know better but decided they wanted revenge. I’m glad to see other people are seeing it.
It's true, can't even begin to count how many people have called me a "honky" or "snowroach" just for being white, If I was going around calling people of color racial slurs then everyone would be coming after me with torches and pitchforks. Let's just put our differences aside and treat each other with the same amount of respect that we expect from each other. Human is human.
@@Kaindigo Racism is a complex issue with deep historical roots and has been a persistent problem throughout human history. Scientific theories of social psychology, such as social identity theory, suggest that people categorize themselves and others into different groups based on shared characteristics, such as race, ethnicity, or nationality. These categories can then shape our perceptions of others and lead to the development of in-group biases and out-group prejudice. Historically, people from different European backgrounds, such as Polish, German, and Italian people, were subject to discriminatory labels and stereotypes. However, these biases and prejudices were not limited to one particular group and often shifted as social and economic circumstances changed. For example, as white people from different European backgrounds began to interact more with each other and form a shared sense of identity, they often turned their biases towards people of color. This change was likely influenced by various factors, including the rise of nationalism, globalization, and the exploitation of people of color in colonialism and slavery. Today, it's crucial that we acknowledge the role that historical and systemic factors play in shaping patterns of racism and discrimination. This requires ongoing self-reflection and education, as well as a commitment to actively working against our biases and promoting equality and justice for all.
@@corvox2010 White people hated black people because they had to to internally justify the horrible treatment of slaves. Dehumanization is a necessity to treat people as less than human. There, I trimmed your word salad for you lol
no we SHOULD go backwards. we are going forward!!!! forward is bad! forward is descent! backwards is simplicity and understanding, its the only way, going back.
@@Palemis you think we're headed in the right direction? Go ahead. Keep on keepin on. we're so advanced, we're so civilized, it's not like we have descended past being primitive. (We have descended far past being primitive) Going back is the only way to set things right. People think that it's bad. Back is simple. Forward is scattered like a bag of marbles. If something is scattered it must be recollected, or, going back to what it was. Which is concentrated. In one spot. I'm making this as simple as possible.
Yeah can you imagine? "If you're thinking of bringing your 'token black friend' you need to ask every single white person in the group for permission because sometimes they just don't wanna deal with black bullshit today!" Imagine...
The fact that a white person would not even be allowed to say what this gentleman is saying should tell us all something. Not only that they're de-humanized and discriminated against but that they're not even allowed to defend themselves.
@adirge_hayu so are you going to punish the descendents of African, Arab and Asian slayyvers and colonizers? Please, DO TELL about your personal experience with slayyvery and colonisation. You are a hateful racist.
It's really insane to see these type of ideas being pushed. It's racist in fact to have the "inclusive" policies, directly turning down people who are the same or possibly just more talented from being accepted to colleges and careers. Thank you for bringing up these points.
As a South African person, I just have to say that this genuinely warms my heart. When I went to go visit family in South Africa my tires got slashed for being white. I got kicked out of bars, the local bank tried to scam me and I've even heard black people talk about how such a "stupid white person" I am (All in a restaurant, I had just walked in and asked for a table). Whenever this sort of thing is addressed, it always gets shot down because black people were the ones who were enslaved. And yes, that's a horrible thing that's happened to them, but no matter the colour we should all be treated equal. Genuinely, thank you for making a video on this.
And even then, white people have been enslaved before. There was a long period of time where pirates from Northern Africa would attack ships heading to Britain and even attack towns off the coast, then they would sell the people into slavery. There was a town in Ireland where they took nearly everyone. Search Barbary Coast and you’ll find some multiple sources on it.
Hey dude another South African here, my parents are Xhosa and Zulu and used to be taught that white people were the reason bad things especially since they grew up in apartheid happened to us and my siblings and I have heard my parents try and tell us this and I'm afraid my little sisters have taken this ideology,I hope you understand that they simply might've taken a dose of cognitive hatred.
As a white ‘90s baby, we were almost religiously brought up to be color blind and live the “Judge me not by the color of my skin, but by the content of my character” quote by MLK. Racist words or actions were considered abhorrent. I distinctly remember a 12 year old classmate of mine called a black girl the N-word and was suspended for a week, had to give a lengthy apology and had to attend mandatory counseling. That kid became so ostracized by the rest of the school (which was 96% white), that his parents eventually pulled him out of school. So it’s incredibly baffling to me how in recent years how it has become fashionable for minorities to hyper-focus on race, and how blatant racism is either excused or outright supported. Like I thought we had all agreed to move past that sort of nonsense.
The content of your character is that of a terrorist. You are living on land stolen from my family. Your government is still oppressing us and undermining our freedoms and our legal rights to our lands and our legal traditions. No one hates white people because they are pale it is because across the entire world white terrorists have settled and dominated.
I agree with that sentiment. I too never saw white kids being racist towards the other kids in school. My class in later years was super racially diverse & though kids bullied each other for plenty of other things (weight, height, body odor, performance in gym class, etc.), race was never one of them & no one race was bullied more than the other. Race never crossed my mind at that time and I never had conversations with any of my white friends about or involving race. These days race is all you ever hear about, and it's downright fashionable to be racist against white people.
While MLK was preaching acceptance and unity, the fact is that the African American culture was anti-white then and remains so now. They call us Cave Demons. They have a whole mythology about how we didn't actually build anything but came out of caves and stole what they built or some such nonsense. Most everyone remained tribal while whites became ever more magnanimous and accepting, failing to see we're surrounded by people that despise and envy us.
MLK was a neo-Marxist and his quote is taken completely out of context at the time by White liberals who used to praise him, and now by White conservatives. The fact of the matter is that the US government enforced a race-blind culture on White Americans to destroy any sense of cultural heritage and pride amongst White Americans, while at the same time influencing non-Whites to be proud while also seeing themselves as victims by the once ruling White majority. Race isn't just skin color, it's genetics, it's culture, it's language, it's religious and moral beliefs, it's history, anyone who says otherwise is an idiot. White Americans have every right to be proud of their race just like every other group.
As a black man Sir I totally agree with you! I see it. We all see it. Thank you for speaking out. I know it wasn’t easy because you will get backlash. That’s the world we are living in.
I'm mixed (one of my nationalities being white), and to hear somebody finally speaking about this issue genuinely brought tears to my eyes. I was relentlessly bullied for having a lighter skin tone in school. I was bullied and beaten so bad to the point where my mother had to put me in homeschooling. Everyone-- especially on tiktok, acts like being racist to light-skinned/white people is acceptable just because they're white. Being racist shouldn't be seen as "acceptable" for ANY race, and I'm so glad you spoke up about this. Nowadays, people just want to be racist and then immediately play themselves like they're the victim when they get called out. Then they use the excuse of the past, "It's your turn to get discriminated against." What happened all those years ago wasn't this generation of white people's fault, and if anything, majority of white people make so much of an effort to stop racism against other races. But you don't see much of the same thing being done for white people, in fact, most people will ignore it or encourage it. (Sorry about the grammar btw, English isn't my first language.)
Sorry to hear about that Also I don’t see any grammatical mistakes which is surprising considering with a comment that long even someone who’s first language is English would make a few
As a black guy here in Brazil, I agree with everything you said, here in Brazil it's even more ridiculous to separate people by color, because we're all mixed race, the skin is the most superficial layer of every human being, it's very stupid to take This detail is more taken into consideration than who the person really is!

Im half russian and half american, and as someone who has gone through social ostracization for my move fron russia to america its horrible. One time i wanted to talk about my experiences being bullied for what made me different while in a class with 5 black people and was nearly almost dismissed by every single one of them through their looks. Because i as a white person who experienced oppression and cultural suppression was simply a white person. I was so pissed and thankfully one of them was also an immigrant and we had a lovely conversation about how that experience was for her too.
I’m so glad you made this video, I’m a Scottish white male, I’m 27 years old & the amount of hate I’ve received especially from American people is insane you’d think I personally ran the slave trade. It’s sad that if you were a white person this video would most likely have been received much differently, I thank you for your effort & passion in the making of this video. The world needs more people like yourself who are actually pushing back on hate instead of looking to give back equal hate to balance the sins of our ancestors.
Balance the sins of our ancestors? What race on earth didn't participate in slavery? What race ultimately stepped up and fought to end slavery? Where is slavery still practiced today? The people that believe any of the nonsense pushed these days are a scourge. They are not intelligent enough nor ambitious enough to learn the truth or recognize facts. They thrive on hate and they identify with a false victimhood mentality.
Ironic when Scottish and Irish ppl were enslaved too... Muricans believe that their racial war its worldwide...like hating the world for not being so broken like them but blaming them... Its weird... But pretty dangerous.
Those people are ignorant and brainwashed. You will never hear them talk about Muslim slave ownership of Africans either because they have not even been taught that it existed because it doesn't fit their teacher(s) political narrative.
As a 16 year old white person I cannot tell you how many times I have heard racist comments about me and my peers. I wish I could speak about it but I know that my future would slip right out of my fingers. The fact that we are so fixated on race and all this shit literally makes us look like idiots to other nations. I think it’s time we all learn that we are incredibly privileged to live in this country. There are nations at war, people risking their lives for their country, trying to find food and shelter. And guess what, us Americans over here acting like we have it so bad. Like hello? The fact that we as Americans can even Have a conversation about race and racial inequality shows how much privilege we have. I guarantee you would not be able to have this discussion in another country without getting into some sort of trouble.
I did not have the courage to speak up about it when I was 16. I cared more about getting along and maybe getting somewhere. One day you'll grow up and realize your national inheritance was already given to them, there is little left for you, and then you'll have the bravery to speak about it brother.
yeah that’s tough and all, but now imagine the black people who were enslaved. Imagine their pain and suffering your ancestors caused them. You aren’t in a position to complain, as your suffering is very minuscule in comparison to the struggle African Americans faced
It's so annoying hearing people at my school and sometimes my friends making demeaning comments towards people who happen to be white like they'll say "white people ☕" and roll their eyes expecting you to react and think the same, but they'll just laugh when it's any other race. I'm asian and it's so sickening to me. This victim mentality needs to stop.
I think its a powerful thing to be able to see and realize that. Im also in school, and have a similar experience. I would like to hope that the younger generation is being more cognoscente of things that are happening around them, not everyone, but most.
As a white person who has been told I'm racist for feeling this way, it was refreshing to watch this video. Thank you!! You're speaking for so many people that aren't able to speak up for themselves just because they are white. This video is so important.
Yeah you are racist for thinking this way. Just because an asian person is willing to restate your white supremacist race war bs doesn’t make it any less racist
It's coming from all angles. Social Media, the media, Hollywood films and TV, advertisements, etc. It's very pervasive and it makes for a scary future.
stop paying taxes(find ways to avoid it, get on welfare if you must and so some small side jobs without contract - so that you won't be taxed). Starve the {({ beast }]) and encourage others to do so
As a cis Chinese man and fan of his videos When is he going to talk about the round eyes stealing our Secret Fried Rice Recipe that dates back to the Ding Dong Dynasty?
I’m mixed (black and white) and my whole life I have heard racist remarks. I had an Asian girl laugh at me for sounding too white. I had a white guy make fun of my skin and hair. I’ve had black girls antagonizing me for being half white. Racism is racism and I hope as a society we can become more accepting of one another.
I'm in the same boat. I work retail in a heavily Hispanic area. I've hard Karen's yell at me for looking Hispanic and not speaking Spanish. Also had a lady get mad at me for being mixed. I've had my own family call me a token of my friend group because we play Dungeons and Dragons.
I relate to this a lot. I'm half Chinese and half polish and my parents were raised both in their corresponding countries, I have witnessed ignorant remarks towards both my ethnicities and I definitely think that we should not care about others races and just exist peacefully.
My best friend went through pretty much the same. She said she was too dark to fit in with the white crowd and too light to fit in with the black crowd :/ I don't remember it being like this when we were kids but now that we're adults it's like we live in a different world than before... What happened to us?
My son is biracial. I am black and his father is white. Las year, a friend of the family, a black 20 something male, made the comment to my sister that our son will grow up to be confused and not know who he really is because he is biracial living a "privileged life". To say that I saw red when I was told of his comment is an understatement. Some of the most prejudice comments I've heard or personally experienced have come from other black people. My husband and I worked hard to get where we are so that we can have a family and raise our children to have loving parents with a roof over their head, food on the table and a great education. I never confronted him about his comments partially because he didn't say it to me directly and honestly, it would not end very well but I have never looked at him the same. To add salt to the wound, my husband and I opened our doors to him for temporary housing, rent and food free for a month, so he could get on his feet. To know that was a comment he made touched me to the core. Some of the very people, "your people", who you have helped open doors for, can hurt you the most. I do not hate him nor am I bitter toward him. I do however feel sorry for him that he is stuck playing the victim and no way out. Should he choose to stay playing the victim, he will find himself living a very unfulfilled life.
Meanwhile in Latin America, biracial is considered cute. I have friends that are biologically Terran, because they lost count of how many ethnic regions are in their blood. I personally have three, though I do look a lot like my south slavic grandfather, so people - and by people I mean the North American bubble - presume I'm "pure white."
@Lee Gaul Same. I'm a mutt. Yet I have white people with superiority savior complex telling me how I seem to not acknowledge racism if I dont agree with their views, while coming from richer first world countries. The joke about me having more privileges being mixed and coming from a poorer country tells itself.

When I moved to America from Zimbabwe the people who were the most hateful towards me were the black kids in school and yet they liked to claim white people were the ones who were racist. Smh. A lot of black ppl in this country have proven to be disgusting horrible human beings just like the white disgusting horrible humans who hated their ancestors for their skin color. But somehow it's okay to be a wretch as long as it's payback to white people and towards anyone who refuses to ascribe to the "I'm black and I'm oppressed" narrative. It's sickening.
So, I sent this video to a biracial friend of mine just cause I thought it was interesting and wanted to hear their opinions. No joke, they wrote 4 paragraphs about how I’m a horrible racist person for sending this to her (ironically she said “of course it was an asian that said this” not seeing the hypocrisy in that statement). She said all this while I was at work, and blocked me on everything before I saw her message. For context, we had been friends for a few months now, and have always gotten along great and never had any problems. This was a person I trusted and respected, and thought I could talk to about basically anything. Also a really weird thing, she dated this guy who was genuinely racist, sent her racist things and after they broke up she would show me the things he sent her, and they were pretty bad, but she didn’t block him. She just let him send her blatantly racist stuff. This world is very confusing.
I have a younger brother on the spectrum, and to see how all this has affected him is heartbreaking. He’s convinced by his peers and teachers that he should be ashamed of who he is, and to think otherwise is racist and privileged. The fear he has about anything relating to race is appalling.
Maybe show him this video, explain to him that there are many people out there that will say horrible things that are not true, and being bad because you are white is one of those things. What someone’s ancestors did, is never their fault.
Just teach him to not give a fuck about people that doesn't deserve his attention, to be kind, have an open mind and a neutral opinion until a point he can make one (I don't know how old is ur brother) People nowadays are dumb beyond measure and can't overlook the fact that there are other people that feel, breathe and live just as them, pain is bad, happiness is good just the same for everyone. It's probably harder to understand because it's a more larger spectrum of subjects but.. for now just tell him to not give in to that kind of words because those people/kids will not go far in life.
I'm Indian, and I actually brought this up amongst some friends many months ago. I pointed out how there has been a continuous racism against white people for a long time now and it's something that is largely ignored, and as you stated, even accepted. It's completely unacceptable, and if the same things were said against people of any other race or color, there would be a huge uproar and massive backlash. When I call out racism of any kind against a race that isn't my own, I'm always met with the same responses of "Are you of that race?" and "It's not your place to be offended." Sure, I'm not the one being targeted, but it makes me upset because either way, no matter which race is discriminating against which race, the concept of racism is perpetuated and the cycle continues. There will always be people encouraging racist remarks (especially against white people) for the reasons you mentioned. There's a very strong desire amongst people to be "unique" and "individual." They want everyone, including themselves, to be sorted into neat little boxes. They want to create a dynamic of "us vs them." I wish all these people (such as the ones pointed out in the TikToks) had self-awareness that extended past the bridge of their noses. If only they could realize the things coming out of their mouth.
I never understand the comments that say it's not your place to be offended. Without other people being offended, the holocaust would have gone on unchecked and there wouldn't have been an underground railroad.
Don't give up. Goodness will always overcome evil. It might take a long time, but without people of different races that stood up against the evil that was being commit to minorities, horrors like slavery would have never been abolished.
If those tiktok people had that much awareness, they wouldn't be on tik tok with a camera constantly in their narcissistic, self righteous little faces saying that shit.
As a white person, thank you so much for speaking about this, for i felt i could not without sounding racist. I've dealt with so many double standards and I felt racist for thinking these people were wrong. Thanks for everything. I feel valid.
We're here because you need to speak up. Right and wrong have never changed just Marx's ideals got tossed into the baby boomer children. Commies and communes and hippies hmm they might all be the same?
@Chen Yung There is still a lot of good here with people of all kinds but there is also a lot of tension and it’s getting dangerous. I wonder if someday I will have to leave just so I can live a quiet life free of harassment. I hope not but I do worry.
I'm mostly white (have some Native American family). I go to a community college in a small town. Last year I was working in the Diversity Center on campus after classes. It was fun and I got along with a lot of the other students. It was fun to learn about the cultures of other people and get to know the students more. I even had a chance to be the president of the Native American Club there. However, there was this one girl at the diversity center who (during black history month) said I needed to "worship her" because she was black and I wasn't. It made me sick. She would also "tease" other students in the clubs and made others uncomfortable around her. It was frustrating to see her victimize herself when she treated others poorly. There's other situations that I've experienced like this before, but I felt like if I said anything about it, I'd be the one reprimanded, not them. However, I'm not oppressed because I don't allow their words to make me feel that way. I think oppression is a mindset and you're only as oppressed as you allow yourself to be. I'd like to think I'm the kind of person that will show respect to you if you show it back. And it shouldn't even be about race in the first place. It's about the content of your character, not your skin color. Also side note: Like this video! Thanks for saying what a lot of us can't cuz we'd be totally canceled lol
So glad someone is FINALLY SPEAKING OUT ON THIS! So tired of ppl thinking it’s okay to spread hate left and right. I’m half white and Native American and you my friend are speaking FACTS!!! Thank you!
I’m also half and half and bear no ill will to any race. The people on this video sound like pre WW2 Germany for blaming all of societies ills on a single race.
Uh "finally"? we've been doing it for sixty years. I've physically and actively fought for our people for decades and have been involved in building good communities. This is not new. It's just that the problem accelerated in recent years. If you haven't seen anyone talking about this you were ignoring it. If you want to talk about just youtube, well TheirTube, they took down thousands of channels six years ago and continue to, that were very helpful for European communities and those not afraid to be white. We lived in mostly homogenous nations with a small amount of outside immigration and interaction often through trade forever but until the last few hundred years and especially recently immigration was very long term and slow. Now it's en masse Colonization was never anything new either, every nation on Earth has done it to some extent. This guy is putting a soft modern spin on the problems.
As an Indian I see this happening everywhere. It's always so weird for me when someone makes a joke about racism, people laugh because it's dark humour, but when someone actually says something racist to white people it's not dark humor, or any kind of humour; people treat it as the truth.
Always hard to watch, as a person who can take a step back and see how these humans are acting, and how it reminds me of past times that humans would swear they would never go back to as people, but they're doing it right now. In a lot of ways, humans are so stupid. Myself included, but not in this case, at least.
The point I realised this situation was ridiculous was when after 2 years of Laying in hospital (I'm white Asian so mistaken as mostly white) 7 surgerys years of previous struggles, tears and hard times constantly depressed because of my very illness I was finally on my way home and stopped with my staff to get a snack and the person in front of me let me go ahead seeing my condition which I deeply thanked. I was tired , in a wheelchair and just wanna see my family, but a black dude at the back of the queue started chiming up saying "Why you letting him to the front he's a white dude?" The queue was confused so some one said "Dude, he's clearly in a iffy and painful state in a wheelchair and just wants to be as fast as he can I don't mind waiting 5 more minutes if he's gets home earlier or wherever" I was like wow thanks for backing me up I'm thankful but the black dude went and had me gobsmacked "Dudes white, who gives a f if he's disabled, he has white privilege he deserves to wait " Just something then clicked in my mind that yer he didn't fully know my situation but he saw a clearly disabled, eager to go, sickly person and still said that sh1t I knew at that point it wasn't about white privilege or such it was just pure hatred for a different race it truly disgusted me that people have this much hatred in there heart that a white person shouldn't be allowed a sliver of goodwill especially a disabled individual because of there messy history. Truly blew my whole concept for a long time because I was white I hated myself and I allowed myself to be labelled racist for no reason I'm done with that whether it's my Japanese heritage or my white heritage I'm proud of it and no one can say otherwise because that's our family history you don't have the right to discredit that due to skin colour.
I’m so sorry that happened to you but I’m kinda happy that there are other people that agree that people have been hating white people for no god damn’d reason
@@bluekidkid2if i ever hear racism i shittalk em as a person not as their race lol like its laughable in a sad way that people dont realize theyre not attributing, matter of fact ANY identifying feature, sex or whatever else it may be, and their experiences with it, sometimes not even firsthand, and directly applying that disgusting attitude to someone in front of you. It seems so much more complicated than just judging a person by their actions and actual personality lol, how many hoops do you have to jump through to achieve that hate?
Those were some off the chain, unbelievably racist TikToks holy shit. I feel so sorry for anyone still perpetuating that garbage. It's so freaking sad man.
It’s crazy how far we’ve strayed from the early 2000’s. I never even knew what racism was as a kid and I grew up in a bodunk farm town. Lots of white kids and a lot of Mexican families too, but that never changed the way we looked at each other. Everyone was treated like family. I late moved to a city where I was told, many times, that I was racist because of my skin color. I was called a honky, or white boy and those names never bothered me as a joke, but it’s wasn’t a joke there. Thank you for making this video, not to point out the discrimination of white people, but to point out the lack of equality we used to have.
I grew up in phoenix late 80's early 90's on 19th Ave and myrtle I didn't learn about racism until I got into 4th grade when they taught it in history and still none of us ever thought that way since the early 2000's we've lost our way our peace our ability to get along
I grew up in a small-ish place in Missouri back in 2008 and I never knew racism was a thing until middle school now after this video I can realize how many racist comments people made against me (I’m white) that I thought were only jokes which some of them may have been but most of them were probably not
As a white male it feels liberating to hear someone I don’t know tell me that I’m not a problem because of my skin. I grew up in a town with mostly white people, for the longest time as a kid I remember only seeing a handful of black families. I was raised not to judge people whatsoever, and I’ve made friends with just about every category of person under the sun, but I remember there was one kid in elementary school who would constantly act out and he would make fun of other people and goad them (myself included) into verbal arguments and when confronted by any authority his only reply would be to ask if it was because he was black. I was a roudy kid myself, I was loud and I got into PLENTY of trouble. The principal would have me in the mail room of the office at a desk for the whole day at least twice a week. But this kid never got in trouble after yelling about them being racist. This was a time before you have satirical jokes on snl circling the web, hell this was before parents started giving their literal children iPhones and tablets. His parents had obviously taught him that using that phrase would be a scapegoat to get out of trouble he caused, and he used it frequently. I’m glad that since then the town has diversified further, as well as the fact that he moved away so I never had to hear him ask if it was because he was black again
I'm from Serbia and have seen only a few black peope in my life. Racism doesn't exist here because it's weird when you just meet someone black because it's uncommon but there is no difference in treatment. Only reason racism exists in Murrica is because people talk about it so much. If people stopped talking about it everyone would fucking forget about skin color just like we don't really treat people with blonde hair and brown eyes differently than black hair blue eyes. You don't even notice it
Maybe he was saying it ironically, or as a semi-joke, or just trying to goad everyone a bit. However, one good comeback would have been: "No, it's because the content of your character."
For a second I thought this video was going to be sarcastic but this is straight facts. I’m a black woman and this is bothers me to no end. I know good and well that most white people would come to my defense if my race was talked about this way, so I’ll do the same for them. 💯✨
in my lifetime i've only ever experienced white people policing each other very heavily about what they can & can't say. i've never been in any situation where white people were being openly racist. say anything slightly off & the other adults correct you or yell at you immediately. it's not at all what i see people saying on social media, like as if as soon as there are no people of colour around we all start n-wording & saying hideous shit. you'd have no job & no friends if you did! what i mean is:100% yes, most of us would defend you, without even thinking about it, we just would
For real, I had to come back and make sure I didn't just hallucinate this video. I am so used to the open bigotry at this point it's actually kind of surreal for someone to say it's not OK.
I feel like as a Mexican person who lives in a town with a lot of mixed races, the most judged is the white people who live in my town, including many of the judgement that go along the lines of “white people haven’t gone through anything”, all of the people in my community have gone through things but the things that the white people have gone through is the most ignored because the thought that this is something they “deserve”, this is a thought that I wish would die down, if I can’t live in a world where the thought that “white people are horrible” isn’t tainting the minds of everyone then I don’t want to bring other people into this world that this thought can grab a hold of as well.

Remove the word race from your vocabulary. There are no "races", just one human race. If we keep using this word, we keep the idea that there is a fundamental difference between people that have different physical attribute. Let's start by removing that word from our language when talking about humans
You might also want to avoid starting your comment by "I'm white". By making it about skin color you also keep perpetuating the problem. Just apreciate the message as YOURSELF, as a human. Everyone, no matter skin color should appreciate and agree with not repeating history's mistakes and go towards a less divided, better and happier society.

My mom’s half Filipina-Chinese, by the way.

They’re mad because their women flock to us… Let’s just say the truth out loud here

this reminds me of when morgan freeman was asked how racism could end and he said something along the lines of ‘when we stop talking about it. forget the race.’ acknowledge each other as humans. not by their races. you can be racist to ANYONE; it’s in the term ‘racist’; the prejudice/discrimination against a race.
it was pretty close to... "I won't call you a white man, so I ask that you don't call me a black man." I like that quote. In the end, they are both simply men. Nothing more, nothing less.

Straight white male with a story:
I was working a retail job at 16 years old and this black lady and her young daughter came in trying to return some obviously stolen clothes.
You should leave this land, because your peers will not be able resist the coming violence, and you eill likely pay for their actions.
That’s because you are, do you think white people are telling each other the same thing about you?
Thats valid but I accepted it and dont care all much about it no more

Black American here; I commend you on bringing this to light; nothing saddens me more than seeing my people become the very thing that caused us much pain. And our country is too great to be forever tainted by such an insignificant concept as the different human races..

The fact that your people had to endure years of slavery, and years of segregation is disgusting. And now this whole hatred incident seems to be moving right back to segregation again. Why are people so evil???

As a brown person, thank you for saying this. I’m tired of people fighting for equality only to discriminate others who don’t look or think like them, which is literally exactly what they are fighting against. Equality means we are all treated the same, you’re not gonna get princess treatment for being “different”. Being white does not make someone a bad person or entitled just cause they aren’t a minority. The color of someone’s skin is not in anyone’s control and we shouldn’t be judging their entire character by it. It’s funny how people have been preaching this for years yet we’ve come back in a full circle. I know the video isn’t really about equality but this was just a thought I had
it'll only be funny until more serious things happen, we'll just have to see if this "culture" spreads to other countries too, and if so, how many
It seems like they want us to go full circle… punish the white man because their ancestors sinned.
Completely ignoring the fact that white people were not the only sinners, but rather the most skilled.
Thanks, Hannah
As a white guy, I don’t think color or culture is a thing we should care about, it’s the actions we do.
Kanye kinda proved that statement wrong in the mainstream
The fact those people think black people cant be racist is astounding. Their the people group I’ve encountered being the most racist. Edit: most of the time they don’t think it’s racist due to the culture and societal norms of being “oppressed” (really it’s just we as people don’t care about black people that struggle financially and mentally, same with white asian Hispanic etc)
What is Racism without the element of oppression?
That's one of the reasons why the US is a fucked up place. In Germany we get the crimes of our ancestors shoved in our face by the age of 14
I came here to add that quote and am glad to see someone beat me to it!
"But it's different since they are the oppressors." Not like antisemites argue the same line about jews.
@@jasperzanovich2504it's true though, it isn't the same, their just being made fun of lol
As a black women, I agree wholeheartedly. I do not like what has been going on. It is racism. Racism is not this new definition about having “power”. People know better but decided they wanted revenge. I’m glad to see other people are seeing it.
Thank you. ❤

They slaved Europeans too. Slavic slaves.

im sorry i cant take you seriously because of your pfp lol

Simply referring to any person by skin color is malevolent. Skin color is a result of evolution and environment over time.

@@polinskitom2277 how
Maybe show him this video, explain to him that there are many people out there that will say horrible things that are not true, and being bad because you are white is one of those things.
What someone’s ancestors did, is never their fault.
@@polinskitom2277 lmao ok soyboy
i mean he is still a minority, just not for his skin?
Just teach him to not give a fuck about people that doesn't deserve his attention, to be kind, have an open mind and a neutral opinion until a point he can make one (I don't know how old is ur brother)
People nowadays are dumb beyond measure and can't overlook the fact that there are other people that feel, breathe and live just as them, pain is bad, happiness is good just the same for everyone.
They want to create a dynamic of "us vs them."
I wish all these people (such as the ones pointed out in the TikToks) had self-awareness that extended past the bridge of their noses.
Beautifully stated (you’re a good writer) and so true!
God bless you.
Stay true to yourself even when you don't think anyone has your back. 💖
get angry instead looking for validation. Racists are assholes - no matter the color of their skin.

White people have it hard huh
NoWhiteGuilt has been speaking about antiw hiteism for decades but so few listened
@@neil7328 of course they do
Uh "finally"? we've been doing it for sixty years.
What world do you guys live in I really gotta ask lmao
It's called an eye for an eye
@@arimonroe7060 same one as you. You’re obviosuly a bit too clueless to see whats goin on the past 5 years
Yeah like, white people cooking jokes are funny but the whole white privelege crap is dumb
I was tired , in a wheelchair and just wanna see my family, but a black dude at the back of the queue started chiming up saying "Why you letting him to the front he's a white dude?" The queue was confused so some one said "Dude, he's clearly in a iffy and painful state in a wheelchair and just wants to be as fast as he can I don't mind waiting 5 more minutes if he's gets home earlier or wherever" I was like wow thanks for backing me up I'm thankful but the black dude went and had me gobsmacked "Dudes white, who gives a f if he's disabled, he has white privilege he deserves to wait "
Just something then clicked in my mind that yer he didn't fully know my situation but he saw a clearly disabled, eager to go, sickly person and still said that sh1t I knew at that point it wasn't about white privilege or such it was just pure hatred for a different race it truly disgusted me that people have this much hatred in there heart that a white person shouldn't be allowed a sliver of goodwill especially a disabled individual because of there messy history.
I absolutely HATE the ableism adding to this. “Idc if he’s disabled don’t let him get help.” How could you say that and think it’s okay???
Picture perfect 🐵
I grew up in a small-ish place in Missouri back in 2008 and I never knew racism was a thing until middle school now after this video I can realize how many racist comments people made against me (I’m white) that I thought were only jokes which some of them may have been but most of them were probably not
yep! I don't know why there is brown, black, white, yellow, whatever.
Nobody talks about how 9/11 set us back like 35 years and we never fixed that
I grew up in the city and i live in the country now as an adult. You have to spend time in the city if you want to experience true racism
It's sad. That it has to be a non white person to have this message be heard. But it's atleast something.
You don't even notice it
I stand with you guys 👍🏼
@@Gold_gyrl 🙏
Maybe he was saying it ironically, or as a semi-joke, or just trying to goad everyone a bit. However, one good comeback would have been: "No, it's because the content of your character."
For a second I thought this video was going to be sarcastic but this is straight facts. I’m a black woman and this is bothers me to no end. I know good and well that most white people would come to my defense if my race was talked about this way, so I’ll do the same for them. 💯✨
in my lifetime i've only ever experienced white people policing each other very heavily about what they can & can't say. i've never been in any situation where white people were being openly racist. say anything slightly off & the other adults correct you or yell at you immediately. it's not at all what i see people saying on social media, like as if as soon as there are no people of colour around we all start n-wording & saying hideous shit. you'd have no job & no friends if you did! what i mean is:100% yes, most of us would defend you, without even thinking about it, we just would
Thank you for opposing antiw hiteism👍
For real, I had to come back and make sure I didn't just hallucinate this video. I am so used to the open bigotry at this point it's actually kind of surreal for someone to say it's not OK.
wait this video wasn’t satire 🤣
Thank you for standing up for others, all others, even others that look different than you! Not everyone will do that.
