@@mathyland5373 Amazing work, all i would have done was changed the track for the video, that track was making me scream the 8th time. Again AMAZING WORK!
It is a great build. I was watching this, and my wife joined-in,; she's also a mother. When she saw the kids in an active metal-shop, barefoot, she flipped-out!!!! LOL!!! I agree, but we're not Karen's, I'm sure there are a great many dangers those kids are used to living and thriving Down-under. The 713, are morons. Great build fella, cheers!
@@mathyland5373 hi Matt, i am looking at building a camper trailer, could you please tell me where you got your external panelling from, also, could you tell me a ball park figure of the cost of yours so i have a bit of an idea. im in Perth, and would like to have a chat with you regarding things i need to know, little tricks and such, can you help ?
Great build, I started one just like it here in the states. No wood being used either.. all aluminum. I'm going with a redarc DC to DC charge controller/solar, Anderson plug to vehicle, 2x 212 AH house batteries, pumped 30 gallons water, with 15 gallon additional drinking water rotopacks, exterior pull out kitchen, instant hot water, 10" queen bed, couch, 32" LED TV, Bluetooth stereo, 4 terabyte data disk storage for movies, 2x 180 degree awnings, 16" jeep wheels and tires, independent suspension, roof rack, roof access ladder, front tongue storage, 3 RV windows, 2 exhaust/intake fans, and 2" insulation with vapor barrier. Thanks for sharing video, it inspired me more than any other build vids. Thank You!
What a build, that will survive off roading no problem and certainly going to last. When you build it yourself always best, you know exactly what youve got and its limitations and if you gonna do something always do it right. Hats off to you guys, very envious off roader here :)
Great design and build. Please do a vid on the completed camper with the kitchen and utilities installed and the interior and the pop-up. Really like the design, good work!
Mat , bad ass camper ! Really like the suspension ! When i put my sides on i used a double face tape i got from 3M that is used on truck body's and cabs . Eddie on this sight used wood a very nice job but i'll my money on steel any time . This looks some what the South African army has ...............Very nice Mat...............
Hi Mat I am fascinated by your video, in my country there is no such trailer. I congratulate you, very good construction and I find it a very practical use. Greetings from Costa Rica.
Nice job, need something of this heavy duty construction just to use on our normal highways! I’m at the start of building a 2.8 x 2.1 small caravan with similar construction.
i'm not gonna lie that not only was this the best learning video i have seen on you tube but you guys made looks better then most paid for campers out there i'm actually building a truck camper out of aluminum i built a prototype now to rebuild the final product
Well done. So tempted to do this myself instead of spending +12k for a trailer. I have a 200 amp TIG but free time is the hard part when working full time.
@@mathyland5373 Are mechanical fasteners used in combination with adhesive for the panels? Seems like there could be some flexing in an off road application, but I could imagine crushing the core with too many screws might cause it's own set of issues.
Hay mate that there is one nice trailer it will bring so much fun for your family. I am building a wood teardrop camper right now on my channel but I will be thinking of this awesome off road trailer you have masterfully built.
felicitacones se ve tan facil pero tiene todo su tecnica , me gutaria sber cual es el materil que forraron todo, ademas lo pegan con una silicona se ve muy livino ? que material es '
really interested in how you fabricated your large compartment door. any chance you have detail of jamb/seal condition or closeup of door and jamb edge? thanks
How this work of art gets 713 thumbs-down is absolutely beyond me. The precision and beauty of this build was a joy to watch. Good on ya, mates.
Cheers mate

Absolutely blown away. Well done sir

Such a rewarding project. But you’ll need more than $12k to build one.

Gr8 build. Would be possible to share dimensions of the base, location of suspension. Thanks
A bloody fine trailer that would cost 25 grand anywhere else well done.👍🏻
Hey Craig. Unfortunately it did cost $25k. When I started I thought it cost half that.
@@mathyland5373 Well at least you got exactly what you wanted 👍🏻😁
Nice work. Tell me about how you designed the suspension?
I bought a suspension kit from huntsman in Melbourne
Great design, and build process. Kudos.
