Eric and Mark really brought it with their great summary about this weekend, as well as upcoming ones. Chris is also on point about how some of the kids will want to land in LA. These young men also want to wait. They have plenty of time…also SC is making the cut on a number of highly rated recruit lists…plus huge recruiting weekends coming up!
A memorable moment in this meeting of our Trojan Huddle guys…Eric: “Not to cut you off” [as he cuts off Chris mid sentence]…and I just love all of it. There are so many great moments in this show. I predict it will go very far guys, it’s solid gold!

Sorry to school you guys on the question about the greatest coaches talk, and maybe you guys were focusing on just D1, but to not put Eddie Robinson on that list is criminal. More than 200 of his players went on to play in the National Football League, American Football League, and Canadian Football League. Coach Robinson is arguably the most successful college football coach in FCS history and has the third most victories in college football history.

Chris, Mark deserved negative 5 points for that board of directors answer. USC would be mocked as "Trump University", resulting in enrollment, cred, and donations to collapse, resulting in the university being kicked out of AAU. Non-stop protests would ensue and Trump would enflame them. Mark would be forced to go into hiding for the rest of his life. Separately, you should have compared AC/DC with GnR and the current period of music is the best -- so much more choice of genres available from Amapiano to kawaii metal.

We are getting them in the showroom but won’t be able to close them until they are done playing each school against each other and they are timed out. (Commitments aren’t worth the paper they are written on.) For most of these kids, this is the largest payday they have or will ever have. Even signing a Letter of Intent is as temporary as their mood. This is real money, and actual enforceable contracts are coming! Since less than half of the NFL players matriculated from University. I can see a “Club” concept so attendance becomes optional. 🥴✌️
This is a New Era, with NIL no agent or parent looking for big NIL would advice any recruit to commit without checking out what the other schools are offering with NIL. It is what it is now.

1) Saban, Carroll, Jimmy Johnson are the 3 coaches, 2) Cal. Bears' kickoff return vs. Stanford is the best trick play and 3) Trump as a successful businessman ... his hotels/casinos went bankrupt in Atlantic City, he did nothing with his father's fortune, he's a convicted felon and Marc is a moron to think Trump on the USC Board of Directors is good idea.

What was the felony that Trump was convicted of? Stop regurgitating stupidity. Prosecutions in far-left jurisdictions by far-left prosecutors with a far-left judge presiding is equivalent to a Soviet era show-trial....You can look that up.
Recruiting is totally going to change forever with various ways of NIL, Collectives, Major sponsorship, and now Schools paying out cash, as well. Athletes have 4 -major ways to get paid, and each one of these ways have branches and other subsidiaries to get more cash. The rosters won't be totally home-grown anymore, eventhough it's somewhat important. You will see rosters where 20-25 states will be represented on 1 85-man scholarship roster. That will make the SC and UCLA games and other rival games not have the same juice and significance, but it will make it interesting in a different way!!

Barry Alvarez is a better answer than Bill Synder. Wisconsin was a complete joke in the Big ten before his arrival. In fact they were pretty much a joke in every sport. What he did was unbelievable and it extended as an Athletic Director into other sports. Wisconsin would look very different today if it wasn't for Barry. He completely transformed that athletic department and school. Most underrated figure in college sports of all time.

Most Recruits will take their official visits before they verbally commit.
The reason for the 12 team playoff is to move college football from a regional sport to a national sport....that being said the LA market is mandatory USC at 9-3 or 10-2 will get in every year....actually espn would prefer that SC be 9-3 to assure that there is a sec champion....
I think they'd be satisfied with Whoregone and/or Washington.
So we'd better take care of business or we'll be left out (and make no mistake: the east coast media would love to see this).
Not hamstringing ourselves with the schedule is essential.

firstly, chris is actually right about something. erik and marc HAVE to wait their turn. you can't interrupt, not even for the briefest of corrective notes. the audio becomes garbled. look, if i can train myself to stop interrupting during my work zoom meetings, you two can hold your comments until the other guy is finished for these weekly video podcasts. secondly, erik and marc should be deducted a point at the start of each gameshow because of the spelling of their names. thirdly, you gotta find a way, chris, to avoid questions where marc can shoehorn a pitch for 'donald j. trump.' it's becoming quite disconcerting. it's certainly doesn't bode well for marc's sense of judgement. ... right up there with his declaration that jordan addison would call it a college career after that first game against ute. (no, marc, i'm not lettin' it go!!!)
So, top players visit. Top players leave. No commitments but everything is all good. What would a bad visit weekend look like then? Besides blatantly saying that it wasn't good, what's the purpose of official visits if you're not closing? I get flips, but these are uncommitted players.
