You're absolutely right..Andy is the Man! Damn shame he left the band again...Whenever an original member leaves, the band is just not the same! Please come back Andy! God Bless you brother!
I think in this performace you see a lot of Simon's punk roots. I don't think he's drunk. I think you see his punk side and I think its great. He is having a ball out there and the audience is joining in with him. He also said he used to not feel too secure being the front man and a lot of his movement may have to do with that.
john taylor is playing the aria sb 1000 bass...and in 10 days and 27 years of wanting this bass im finally going to have it..when i hear JT play anything duran duran and he isnt using the bass he is here its a let down to me...but he will always be one of my very favoeite players..
theres a guitar riff towards the end of this song that is just brilliant 04:42 on the album its soundz awesome but live wud just be too much to handle seeing and hearing it lol! under rated this song shud of released it as single jamesxx
I always thought that Andy was the wild card in the band that gave the edge. Wedding album was good but they just don't seem DD without A's raw guitar sound with Nick's synth....
I've never heard Andy Taylor referred to as a "cool guitar player". They mixed him so far down in the records it's no wonder he left the group. I think they'd have been a lot better if they'd let him add a tougher edge at times.
I knew it, Simon is a punk at heart!
Andy taylor's superb guitar playing is always evident in live performances such as this one. Too bad, he can't stay forever.
crazy how I have been a fanatic of theirs for 28 years and they still make me want to scream like a little girl
Wish older Duran concert videos would be made available on DVD today. Love seeing tunes from the first album live!

Andy Taylor's guitar just drives this song all the way through.
Great song !! Greater band 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I remember watching this concert. I recorded it onto a Beta tape and watched it over and over and over...lol
One of the best DD songs!! Excellent....
One of the best song ever!!!
This is 1983 ... the 82 tour was held in predominantly smaller venues ... they also openend for Blondie in late summer of 1982 ....
Vamos club a huracan y duran duran argentina para el mundo 2 de las mejores cosas abzzzz

check out andy's goofy faces. :) he was so cute!
@twistedchuckone timing and the record label are to blame. It was never released as a single which was important back then for radio play.
i didn't think Roger T. had the electronic drums in '82...

I love you
@sanderella i would hold a panasonic tape recorder up to the TV and record it! complete with my mom yelling in the background
Andy and Roger!!! Fuck!!! The whole fucking band! But, seriously.... Andy!!!
Wonder if there's a studio version with the extra guitar part at the end..
Seriously, Andy's a fucking axe!!
I just love that retarded move Simon does right after 4:00.

Friend Of Ours >>>>Grand....
