Thanks. Finally I can hear the quality and power of the e up sound system. My tiny KIA Picanto soundsystem has the quality sound of a vintage transistor radio... Horrible! It's a pity e up cannot be upgraded to the beats 300w available for the petrol up. Great video!
about the volume when using bluetooth. On the video I noticed that you had to push volume almost at maximum. You should do this : on the media system you choose MENU, then Sound Settings (for me it's French so I try to translate and the words may be slightly different) VOLUME and there you can change the volume of Aux and Bluetooth (three different levels) For the radio I see you have FM and DAB; I only have FM. Maybe because I'm living on the countryside, I should test it in bigger cities
This issue with the USB stick size is really a design flaw, no question about it. I would try to see how I can add an USB Hub under the dashboard so I can add another USB plug somewhere in a more appropriate position, like the lower part of the console or in the handbreak area. But of course, the original USB plug near the phone holder will remain active also, as a different output of the hub, so you can charge your phone while listening to music from an USB stick (because most phones dont have wireless charging ) It would be an interesting weekend project 🙄
Please share it with us. I am trying to find the best USB hub to solve this issue. I have tested 2 and they all can't fit in the USB holder. I have ordered 3 more and I am hopping that at least one will fit the USB holder so we can have more USB ports available.
Unfortunately I am not an e-up! owner yet so I can't help too much except with ideas and maybe some advice at this moment... But I was thinking that it would look better if the hub would be hidden under the dashboard, in the space behind the radio/multimedia system. And so from there a cable would be nicely masked and routed to the glove compartment or any desired location where an female USB connector frame can installed, or even the hub itself with USB extender cables of course. I will look for some relevant links and come back to you.
Mine main goal is to be easy for everyone to install it, because this design flaw will impact everyone. I think it will be hard for someone to put the hub under the dashboard.

It should work exactly how it works on you phone. Only the sound will be played on the car radio. I don't see much of a value to make a video about it.
