Thanks for the vid, will do this for my 2020 eUp today - all lights on this one are still halogen except daytime running lights and tail register plate light which is LED
Yes I thought about that and I am planing to do so. I need first to remove the bulb to see what type of LED to order and I will order them and shoot a video about that.
Looking forward to watch it, because I plan to order a new e-up (2020 model) this year and also wanted to replace the headlamp H4 bulbs with LED retrofits. I guess they would have to be pretty sophisticated and probably expensive too, to meet the light pattern requirements in order not to blind the oncoming traffic.
Do you know if it needs to be canbus or can I also install Philips or Osram that is not canbus? Personally, I want the lights to be less bright than this and I know Philips and Osram are less bright.
To be honest I haven’t run the OBDELEVEN app since I changed the lights. I will check it tonight to see if any new errors are there. For sure there will be some if I change headlights
why stop there? all bulbs for led, brake, reverse, turn signal, rear fog, door/trunk lights... those should be pretty easy, headlighst might be more difficult and unless you drive a lot in the night (DLR are LED already) it makes little sense
@@andrey6669 I will change them all. Currently in the winter when the day is shorter the headlights are consuming the most out of all lights so let's change them first. Today I order some and when they arrive I will shoot a video if I manage to install them.
very useful video - thank you
Thanks for this.
Will use this when my car arrives. :)

Yes they haven’t change anything. I don’t know how Volkswagen are planning to sell thousands of e-up without improving it constantly.
Thanks for the video Greetings Tedo
Thank you.
Nice video!! I have already ordered the bulbs for my car. Have you thought on replacing the headlights to LED? That should impact power consumption.

Look for fanless systems since the car is so quiet. ;)

Not there anymore :(
Wow great! I will do it as well! And also video :)
what should I do, if my switch stopped working...
Could you also replace the trunk light?
Yes I will. I will try to do it this night and shoot the video.
Thanks a lot
I have managed to replace the trunk light now. I am planing to mount the video on Thursday so stay tuned.
Thanks 👍 👍 👍
No mistakes with the CAN-Bus System?

I just check - there are no errors on OBDeleven indicating that the interior lights were changed.
Will this work for normal Ups?
Sorry but I don't understand the context of LED car lights and UPS.
@@tedonash2681 Haha, he means the VW up (non-e)
are they 12v?
Yes
@@tedonash2681 I tried to find similar at ebay and I ordered those: www.ebay.com/itm/392219982678

Me too. I just need to find the best ones

@@tedonash2681 looking forward to that video, especially for possible canbus errors and obdeleven solution :)
